On the U-Haul website the hours said open at 8:00am but they did not open till 9:00 am. This need to be corrected. I had a problem contacting the owner, left several messages, no call back. Owner was friendly and did meet us at 9:00 am and he was also available when we dropped off the truck
Charles G.Van box leaked and wrecked some furniture. When I went to get fuel I couldn't get the fuel cap off. So got charged extra for that . Not a very happy mover.

The whole yard was mud and a vehicle mostly blocked where I was told to leave the trailer. The person that answered the door was not that much help as I was told just drop it off anywhere by the barn. When asked about paperwork to show I dropped the trailer and pads off she said as it was just a drop off there wasn't any.

I phoned the number on file from Uhaul for this location and was told to drop the keys in a drop box on a hydro pole in their yard. so I followed his instructions. This location did not report the return until Feb 10 at 4 pm. Now I have been charged for 8 extra rental days. $189.84 for the trailer and another $568.42 for the truck. I have contacted Uhaul with my dispute twice with no success. Also, while the truck was in reliable mechanical condition, the tires were well worn summer tread tires. I was assured it would have all season tires. It did not! This made for a dangerous trip across Canada in February. We almost had several collisions because of poor tread on slippery roads. Thankfully I had a very experienced commercial truck driver doing the driving. My advice is NEVER USE UHAUL!!! they are a very disorganized and inept company that is unwilling to correct problems caused by their own network.

U-Haul needs a total rethink on how to better their electronic means to pick-up and drop-off. The website is 'crowded' and difficult to navigate. The after hour process needs major improvement.

I drove all the way there only to find out there was no truck there. I eventually got sent to Goderich where there was an actual truck -- almost 2 hours' drive away from me! Next time I will call some other truck rental places first.

Joel C.We were given a dangerous unchecked vehicle without a wheel bearing on the front left wheel of a truck we rented. We knew something was wrong as soon as we started driving, but we thought it was just the roads. Our tire ended up popping and a tire company came to fix it and said that the wheel bearing was non existent and that we could have gotten into a terrible accident if the wheel came off. We were so frustrated that we were put into his dangerous situation and that the vehicle was not checked properly. We also called one of the managers of U-Haul and I could not believe that he could call himself fit for a manager. He was not respectful and did not even care to listen to what I had to say. It was as if he was avoiding the problem by just talking on and on, not hearing me out. He seemed to not understand the severely dangerous that we were put in by his company. He said that accidents happen and he did not seem concerned for our safety whatsoever. My family and I cannot trust this company anymore as the manager himself did not seem to care for his customers' concerns and safety.

Erin G.Truck and building both had heavy cigarette smell. Staff was not prepared, left me waiting for 15 minutes because he had slept in, and was wearing pajamas. No COVID protocols were followed. Multiple large dogs were off leash on site. The whole thing was extremely unprofessional.

And unfortunately I didn't notice the fuel confirmation during the pickup and am apparently out over $86 in fuel charges even though I returned it with more fuel than I picked it up with. Won't be using UHaul again.
