Mr. Mann and Mr. Atencio were very courteous and helpful. They hooked up and disconnected the trailer for me. I left my wallet at the pick up station and Mr. Mann was very accommodating by calling me about it. Mary at the other location on Juan Tabo was also very courteous and helpful. I rented a storage unit from one day to the next saying I wouldn't need the storage I paid in full with the deposit also set up auto pay for months and month I asked to get that taken off and I asked if I could get at least prorated amount plus deposit back gentleman was not helpful at first customer service was very poor name a band was Brandon he told me I should be lucky that he was even willing to work with me if that also wanted something stating that I discontinued the agreement which the agreement was not even signed and also something stating I got it off the auto pay didn't have any help at all from him until I wrote a bad review then I got attention and I also threatened to take it with the better Business bureau because of how I was being treatedJosephine L. | Overall Experience

I 1st went to the location on central and San Pedro I received horrible service there I will never use that location ever again and I strongly recommend to anyone that they not go to the central and San Pedro location. The gentleman who hooked up the trailer to my truck bumper damaged my chrome bumper by missing my ball hitch and dropping the trailer onto it. I am now having to file a claim to get the entire bumper replaced.Samuel R.

There was a scratch on the side of the truck that didn't have the sticker acknowledging it when I got it; but I did not open the email link provided regarding any issues so that was on me. I think, if the employee is able, to do a walk through with the customer on the truck instead of sending an email for a inspection.Faith L.

The guy at pickup put the trailer on my hitch and told me as he was tightening the trailer on the ball what a great system is was as it could fit any ball. He didn't tighten it all the way but said â€œyou're goodâ€.Two miles later on I25 at 50 mph the trailer came off the ball. Nearly caused death by uhaul. Luckily a sheriff was behind and slowed traffic so I could coast and gain enough control to stop. This was my last experience with uhaul.Jean H.

Customer service was terrible, I reserved the truck online, checked in online when I arrived, and proceeded to fill out all of the necessary steps and information for the rental. Yet for some reason, the old man that was working there painstakingly re-entered ALL of the information I had already filled out, and selected the options for me, such as the safe move insurance option, which I had previously declined, but he explained to me that it was important and signed me up for that policy without actually getting my consent to do so. Truck was absolutely filthy, engine sounded strained even when truck was empty, was completely underpowered and would rev into high rpms before the transmission would shift between gears. Only traveled a short distance but had to pay $10 to fill the tank. And only thing I transported was a small sectional! Truck consumes ridiculous amounts of gas, and the whole $0.99/mile is absolutely outrageous. Home Depot offers nicer trucks for ONLY $19.95, no additional charges for mileage, and no $14 safe mover care â€˜insurance' charge since they use your car insurance that you already have. I highly recommend staying away from the uhaul brand in general, I will never use any of their rental services again after this experience...TYLER P.

The truck was dirty and there was no a/c at all. I would have liked to know that beforehand. It was 98 degrees and very very hot. But the upside was the gentleman was very kind.Rebecca D.
While I gave the location 4 stars, the guy that helped us (Dick) was amazing. He gets 6 stars. He not only got us from our trailer to the truck but helped us transfer the load and then handled the trailer return for us. The only issue is that the location does not have capability to do mobile pick up. So when you book a truck outside of the normal operating hours, you will get a call trying to change your pick up to within those hours. I would have simply booked elsewhere if I had known that the hours were an issue.Morgan B.
No trucks the size I needed were available so I was charged $100 extra for a huge truck I didn't need. Uhaul, here's a tip: when you're out of the truck sizes people want, offer them a larger truck at the same price when the scheduling is done on short notice. You weren't going to rent that truck that day to someone actually looking for one that size. Instead you've potentially lost a customer as next time I'm going to check other rental agencies.James V.
