This location was great and really helped me. Your Highway 5 location in Douglasville GA was a very bad experience. Because of them I will try other rental companies first. I intend to not use U Haul. I had a confirmation and they tried to send me to 2 other locations for pick up - that's 3 different times I was switched. One of the pick up locations was 1.5 hours away. The girl at the other end of the phone seemed not to care about my situation, and I had to instruct her to find a closer location for pick up. The lady here in fort Myers was spot on when I called to changed my drop off because the drop off was in a not safe area and the truck could not fit in the storage return facility. All in all, U Haul made my interstate move much more stressful then necessary. can you spell Penske.Anthony B.

Completing the contract online was not explained when the reservation was made. The person at the pickup location was of no help. Returned to the office in Douglasville, Ga and was told we would have to complete the contract at the pickup site. We had not received an email as there was a misunderstanding of the correct email. This was corrected and we received the emai with instructions. The mgr gave us the name and number of Marc and was told to call him if needed. He was indeed needed and walked us thru the complete process. He is the hero of our experience with UHaul. We were told at the Douglasville office that the pickup location would have blankets and hand trucks that we requested. They did not. We elected not to go back to the Douglasville Office and didn't have use of the blankets and hand trucks. The online process is not for us. The return location in Ringgold,Ga is great.Virlyn H.

I was to pick up my truck in villa rica , ga but the day before pick up I was told I would have to pick up truck in douglasville , ga which added 30 miles to my bill so I called customer service and the young lady said she could change my mileage rate but it never happened . Very disappointed.John H.
I dropped off my rental on Monday evening and it was not checked in until Wednesday afternoon. I had received an email telling me that it was not turned in and I had to call the drop off location and ask the guy why he didn't turn it in. He said it was because he was sick. I had to literally pass 2 other well lit, in well trafficked areas to get there. Once I got there, it was very dark and I had no idea where to park the truck for after hours drop off. There just happened to be an employee there at 11pm who told me to park the truck in the lot next door. It was not easy to navigate and if I had been in a larger truck I'm not sure that I would have been able to even get in the lot due to cars parked near the entrance. Then according to the uhaul website I had to create a profile and use their app to drop it off. I guess the app didn't work. 2 days later I get a call and an email asking if I was going to bring the truck back or if I needed additional time. Wtf? A couple of phone calls later it was all straightened out. As if moving isn't hard enough. This experience was not a joy. I will probably try to figure something else out next time I move.Natasha D.

He was rude, even told me too drop at a different location. I knew the area and I knew that other location was very difficult to get in and out of, that's why I chose his store to begin with. His lot looks like a junk yard that's why he didn't have room for the trailer. Our problems were not with this location- they were wonderful. But we had MAJOR problems with having our pick up location changed at the last minute dispite having made the reservation 2 weeks in advance- there was a truck matching our reservation at the desired location but was rented to someone else despite our reservation. In addition the pickup location had significant problems checking us out through the computer program and had difficulty getting support from corporate. Corporate was rude to both me and the location staff.CARRIE H.
However, the corporate office on HWY 5 was horrible....they were very unprofessional and I do intend to speak with someone on the corporate level.....I will never ever....ever deal with another transaction with UHAUL.....Just TERRIBLE!TERI D.

try using someone dependable and someone who speaks better English. Dealing with someone who can barely speak the language difficult enough, without an order being involved. Also, the location chosen sucked, the employees left early the day we were told we could come get it. So we had to reschedule to the next day at 8:00am, no one showed up until 9:30am. This was the most unorganized, horrific experience with U-Haul I have ever had, especially to deal with on moving day. Me and my fiancee were highly disappointed.NICOLE L.

We did a after hours return, so I can't comment on most of the above questions. Someone at this location did call us the next day and satisfactorily provided the necessary info to let us know the return was being processed. I had some difficulty locating them (it was well after sundown), but that has no bearing on the rental experience. Having said that, my only minor complaint would be that they did not have a drop box for keys, contracts, etc. being returned after hours. During the process of returning the unit, I had called your 24/7 customer service number and spoke with a young lady named Gwendolyn. I wasn't in a very good mood at the time of placing the call, but she managed to erase that and actually got me to laugh. My hats off to her for putting me in a significantly better mood. All in all......a pretty decent experience at this location. Thanks for the opportunity to express my thoughts on this experience.Michael C.
