The owner Hans was ultra friendly, experienced, and unbelievably helpful, was a pleasure talking to him and he was possibly the nicest man with the most authentic nature and best service I have ever seen. I moved to Calgary (as per the truck rental) not really knowing anyone here, and this business made one of my first interactions feel like home.. I would trust Hans with my business in his primary field any day, as well as drive a few minutes extra to pick up at this location if I ever need rental services in the future.

Booked my reservation at 34 st ne in calgary. Got a call the day before that the only available unit for me was in langdon...32kms away...cost me $50 with uber. Not sure if this is normal but to go out of town to pick up my rental and costing me extra money is not good. Im at their mercy as i needed the uhaul to move so i had no choice but definitely a bad experience. What is the point of booking at a particular location only to have to go out of the city to get my rental at my expense. Hans at the langdon location was decent and friendly.

The gentleman was delightful and pleasant to work with.We had a terrible experience with the truck as we had a flat tire and the other front tire was dangerous. We sat stranded for 5 hrs then waited for the repair to to fix the truck.

The u-haul representative at this location gave us some misinformation regarding the rental. This lead to many frustrating difficulties when we attempted to return the rental.

I liked the pick up location and drop off location. It was the inconvenience of U-Haul changing my pick up and drop off locations that proved very unsatisfied.

For a Calgary customer, Langdon is not convenient particularly when having to return late at night.

Absolutely pathetic service through the pick up process. Was told to pick up in Chestermere. Went there and no truck for me. They said it's in Langdon. We go to Langdon and no truck for me there either!!! Convinced this location to give me someone else's truck now, and give mine to another customer in the afternoon. Lost 3 hours of loading time. Booked this a month in advance for a move out of province and basically no one at Uhaul gives a crap. No use booking anything---Uhaul will not have it for you. Terrible despicable pathetic service. People book in advance cuz they have plans. But your plans don't matter to Uhaul. They even offered me a smaller truck! Smaller truck is useless---that's why I booked a larger truck. Like come on! I will never, ever, ever recommend Uhaul to anyone! Ever!

Problem was the location, clearly on the far east of Calgary located in a small town which was 135 km east of our destination of the move in Canmore AB. Calgary has 1.4 million people and I find it difficult to believe this was our closet drop off site for a 20 foot truck! Tried to get this changed but very unhelpful phone service, no e-mail response or text message returned! When arrived, we are literally in the middle of no where AB and could not even get the web site to capture our location via cell phone for the drop off. Thank God for Hans at the delivery site who was extremely helpful. Total mileage for the drop off and return was 270 km! So much for being green and saving the planet!

I rented a 10 foot cub van which was actually too large for my project. We wanted to rent a regular size van but the 2 closest location (Strathmore or Langdon) did not have a standard van to rent. To rent a standard size van, I would have to drive to Calgary. Unfortunately this was unsuitable and a lot more distance to drive (pick and return). So we settle with renting the next size up (10 foot cube van). As a consumer, I would hope that U-Haul would think of having a standard size van available to rent (Strathmore or Langdon). When discussing this with the owners of Strathmore and Langdon, they stated that a regular size van is not rented often…which as a consumer I understand.

The guy running this place was an asshole. Very difficult to deal with. Made me cry when I arrived for being a few minutes late. I had just lost my dad the day before and was definitely not a great experience. No one was there at 1 pm to drop off the truck during business hours as he was out buying things for his millwright business. I called and left a message and tried to call three times but no Answer and never called back. Just issued a receipt. Will never be back!

nobody there to tell you anything. after i was done parking it some lady came out to tell me it was too close to bush... why couldn't she come out and tell me where to park it earlier?? i stood around 10 minutes not know where to put it then just decided to put it somewhere only to get nagged by that lady...

Was told that there were no trucks in the city, made to drive 30 km out to Langdon. When driving to move site 5 minutes away from house I see a lot full of uhaul trucks sitting there. This was a total scam, I paid an extra 70 dollars for exactly nothing, because of your lousy inventory system.

Hans went out of his way to call me back because they had just received a 20' truck that I had called for the previous day. I quickly cancelled my 15' truck from Chestermere Gas Plus and rushed out to get the bigger one. It's a good thing because we still did 2 trips with it. The 15' truck would have been way too small. This type of customer service is rare. Hans is a great guy and businessman.

The trailer lights worked intermittently and a seal on the trailer hung out. The staff at the pickup site had problems with the programs and appeared to be not properly trained. He kept wanting to charge me multiple times and I had to prove to him the funds had come out of my account

Just a yard to drop off the U-haul and trailer. Left 3 bundles of non opened blankets and 3 Medium unused Boxes and a roll of unopened paper tape. These items I should have been credited for, but have yet to get a credit for them.

The guy had no idea what he was doing. Couldnt acess the system or use my credit card that was already online as I had a family member pick up for me. I called and told him to use the credit card online and he said no problem.

No blankets were available and this location involved more distance than our requested location. We would have liked to have had extra mileage included in our reservation; we did make do with the distance allowed, but only by two miles!

This location has no inventory and being outside of calgary with a population over 1.3 million and 10 + locations makes no sense as the only location to have had a 5x8 trailer with over a weeks notice. It came in late 30 min before my pick up time so I had to load help clean etc. Proprietor had to be called away and his wife was left to do the contract. She didn't know how to do this. My wife and I had to use there system to close the previous trailer rental to start my contract by ourselves. All ended well and the owner manager was thankful and apologetic for there unreadiness. Put me almost 2 hours behind.

Your web site is not easy to navigate, u-haul changed the dates for pick up, drop off tried to charge double. Took back to pick up point far better service from Hans. .

We ordered a 26 ft truck and auto mover, truck arrived in Langdon on schedule but auto mover pick up in Calgary, both at the same pick up time. Was late picking up truck because had to pick up the auto mover first because it was closer to where we were staying. By the time we got to Langdon, main guy was not in office and other staff not trained to do rentals. He came back and by the time I left we were already and hour and a half late from pick up time. I had hired 3 movers who sat around waiting for the truck.
