The location is a self storage facility that is located behind locked and key coded electronic gate that I was not provided with to be able to open the gate and pull the U-Haul in and out of the way. There was absolutely zero staff there to facilitate checking the U-Haul back in. I had to do the check in through my account on my phone and it was time consuming and took nearly half a hour to complete. I definitely believe that if the locations have set hours for lunch that the return time should be adjusted accordingly so that there will be staff there that will be able to assist you with returning the U-Haul.

Drop off was friendly and welcoming. Driving the truck was a disappointment as no Cruze control for 1000 miles (other businesses such as Penske do). This was my first U-Haul experience. I’m 63. I will look elsewhere for future rentals. It’s my understanding my experience is not unusual and I should be happy I had friendly customer service - that’s rare in U haul too I guess.

The man would not answer the phone and he told me I would only be charged the flat fee of 19 I'm being charged 70 for all the trouble I had to go through when I got there. Still have not got sold of him on the situation. I will not use insult after this experience

paul lancasterI reserved a 26' truck a week in advance and on Sunday, the day before my move I received a pohone call telling me I could drive to another city to pick it up, not this location but half an hour away, each way. I was livid. I had people coming to load and this would throw everything off, including the help I had on the other end of the move. Time matters. I ca)ed corporate 3x and was finally allowed to have the truck I wanted, on the day I needed it.
