Only problem i had is.. I reserved truck on my credit card and when brother and son went to return, the man there said there was no credit card on file. And my brother had to pay for truck. But I remember giving my CC when I reserved.

We had rented at a different place. It took us longer to load than expected. The other place CLOSED at 5 pm! So,, I called American Self Storage. They saved the us! Rented us a unit over the phone. And we unloaded into the evening. I told them many times how grateful I was for their good business habits. We always had easy access too. Thank you so much! Valerie Bevill

We had a great experience at American Self Storage. Joe was super nice and helpful. He was flexible with us when we needed to move to a bigger unit and he sent us a few reminders when it was close to our payment date. I would definitely recommend using them and will use them again when we need to.

I've been charged 100 for twenty dollars worth of gas. This is after the initial truck could not be provided, not once, but twice. And I drive the last hour with no air conditioning. I'm done with uhaul. I'll be sharing my experience.

The manager, Joe, was super helpful!! I was very impressed with how he is running this Uhaul location!! I just can't say enough, he even came in early to check us out. I think he should get some kind of recognition for his outstanding customer service!! Please reward him someway, somehow! The gentleman was amazingly courteous and helpful all items were on the trick ready to go right by tje office door. I placed my order online and soon after I got contacted and assured that everything will be ready when I arrive for the pick-up.

The website allowed me to book the vehicle at 1 PM but they clear state on the door when arriving they are at lunch during this time. U-HAUL should not allow anyone to book a moving vehicle during this time at this location. I didn't get out of there until after 2 PM. It put me behind 1 hour and made me late!!!

Mrs Johnston was very confusing, did not explain the process clearly and came off as rude when asked to clarify. There was a clerical error in the system from using the service years prior that had both my and my previous roommate's information in the system together since we moved together and was berated even though I have no control over what was put in a system I have no access to. Was also required to have 2 additional point of contacts that "knew the situation and would answer their phone" but not physically there with us. Called provided numbers immediately before we could contact them and let them know. Recommend customer service training for Mrs Johnston at this location.

Great management, storage and equipment! But the lot.... oh my! It BEGS for resurfacing! And that OLD chainlink/barbed-wire fence is SHOT, and SO outdated! Place looks like an old prison! REAL competition is just around the corner, and they look NICE. WAKE UP and keep your property UP!!!

I did a copy of my driver's license prior to pick up on the website but still had to show it at the pick up location. The lady at the pick up location told me I could not pay ahead of time. I called Uhaul directly and was able to pay prior to pick up.

When customers specifically request an agent check out/in, do not force them into doing a self check out/in or belittle them for not having the technology to not do a self check out/in. Also, take the sign in the window down if you are IN the office and not actually out on the property. It creates a lot of needless waiting for your return if you are not actually gone.
