Drove 26 miles for an in town quick haul, didn't have time to fill the tank. I was fine paying $5.25gal premium for not doing so. Uhaul American Stone put 8gal of fuel in the truck charging over $40.00 for doing so. That would mean the 26 foot truck got 3.25mpg. The truck was barely even filled with items and no there weren't any hills, nor did I leave it running all night. Poor business practice and incredibly shady!! I'm frustrated I was charged an extra full-days rate when I was an hour or so late. I believe I was misled by the clerk when I checked out trailer who told me that â€œas long as I returned â€œcloseâ€ to the 24hour period, I would be fine.â€ I went to the store today to inquire about the extra days charge. I was told that there was nothing that could be done and that I was out of luckâ€¦.that they have zero control over pricing. This was terrible customer service if you ask me. I'm not saying the customer is always right, because we often aren't. An apology for the misunderstanding (if even a fake one) or humoring me a little would have definitely been the better way to handle it. I definitely will not use this location again and will share the experience with friends/family.John H.

I didn't appreciate the desk clerk telling me to just leave the truck for them to check in the next day â€œbecause it's easierâ€ yet he failed to mention it's a $20 fee to do so. Thank goodness I wasn't planning to leave it up to him.CHRISTOPHER M.

Pick up took me 1 and 1/2 hours. There was a problem with my reservation porting into my account. I had called customer service and the office earlier that day to fix the problem and was reassured multiple times it would be fine. When I showed up for my reservation the text message to check-in never came. I was on the phone for an hour and a half getting help so I could pick up the truck. We had tech issue after tech issue. I had to pay my movers extra while they waited. I also reserved a dolly and there was not one in the truckKassandra M.
The chain that is used for safety around the hitch was missing its rubber grip, because of which, the chain came off the hook dragging on the floor and causing me to stop at intervals to fix it.Krushan N.

When i arrived they received the trailer, unhitched me and i was on my way, they provide a receipt and were very friendly.Skyler B.
I got a trailer for my car to be attached to the 10' uhaul. They sent out 2 kids to help us get the car on the trailer. They didn't tell us that it was crucial to do something to keep the steering wheel straight and half way through the trip damage occurred to both my car AND your trailer and if you think I'm paying a dime for your trailer you're wrong and if you think I'm not going to see to it that uhaul doesn't pay for the damages to my car you are definitely mistaken as well. Luckily this damage occurred at a gas station but it could have been a lot worse. You are either paying for the damage to my car or I will see you in court. But either way this location is fucking amature hour, neglecting to tell the customers to add something to keep the wheel straight while we drive for 100s of miles is Bull shit and you know it.ELLIOTT P.

After loading the truck and driving about 15 miles the air conditioning went out, it was only blowing hot air. When I brought it back and let the staff know the response was you'll have to take it up with U-Haul. Not the empathy I was looking for, not even looking for a discount even though I drove for 50 or 60 miles in 100Â° temperatures I just wanted To hear something similar to all that's awful let me see what we can do to help but instead I got take it up with U-Haul.JAMES C.

I reserved a 26' truck two weeks in advance and showed up to only have a 17'. I had to ask neighbors and family to bring their trucks because it was too much for a 17' but too would have been perfect with a 26'. Why make a reservation if it is not available?NANCY E.

The quote I was given was considerably less than what I got charged for, even when I kept the mileage at what we agreed upon. It also bothers me that there were so few options if I needed a truck for another day. If it hadn't been for the fact that I desperately needed a truck, I would have gone someplace else. The truck warning lights came on saying my tires were low. I looked at them and didnt think they looked low, but it did make me worry a bit about a flat or a blown out tire. Fortunately nothing happened. Also I could figure out how to get the lights in the truck to shut off and that made me worried about a dead battery. Overall I had a good experience but these two things could have been bettet.Thomas W.
