Went to a second location in Fruitland to find this location also closed. Finally went to Ontario to drop the trailer. Again, wasted a couple of hours in a completely unnecessary runaround! The whole experience was the worst I've ever experienced at UHaul. You definitely need to work on customer service!!!
DAVID S.Special Thanks to Shirley Isaak! When I arrived I was expecting to have first month free storage as a result of my one way truck rental as had been extended to me in the past... I learned that there was no U-Haul full service center or storage available in Ontario Or. Shirley got on the phone with U-Haul Customer Service to see if they could help? The person on the other end of the phone. Ashley I believe it was. Had no interest in trying to help me in any manner! Her reply was a simple Nope! Tell Him We're Sorry. I actually heard her say it just like that. Feeling the brick wall I was up against. Shirley dismissed the reply and looked me in the eye. Don't worry she said We'll take care of U even If She won't. I told her truth was in the past 8 or 9 weeks I had spent between 4-5 thousand dollars with U-Haul on 3 different truck rentals for myself and family members. I offered to show her the receipts as I have them on file. No Shirley said Your word is good enough for Me! She gave the Storage I needed and Solved My problem.... If I could I would like to suggest this story be shared with Ashley & other Associates in the Call Center! Customer service is a valued component in the rental world. A bit more effort could have been put forth in this regard By the Call Center! And Should Of As Well... It's My Hope that by hearing of this U- Haul will reimburse My Friend. At Anchor Mini Storage 920 SE 5th Ave Ontario OR. 97914 Ph# 541-889-8000 If Not! Please take a moment and acknowledge the Good work being done there by Shirley Isaak. randy P.This was not my choice for pick-up. Truck was not available at the Nyssa location that I needed. This caused delay in my move.
David P.Their daily hours of operation for later in day turn in could be far better, really closes at 4pm?! I had a 5pm turn in, called U-haul to make sure my 5pm turn was ok, even though they close at 4pm, the U-haul operator was great and noted my call in my account and this drop location still charged me the extra entire day rate, had to use my time to call U-haul back to be refunded the charge. Also there is no clear indication of where to park a U-haul after hours or the key and paperwork turn in. Not using them again.

Rodney D.The woman running the business was basically talking me out of getting a truck when I was there. She kept laughing as several things went wrong with my order (payment didn't go through, had to have cash or else I'd lose the the truck, and the truck itself). I think it was a nervous habit that she was laughing, but seriously? Moving is no small task and I was moving over July 4th weekend and didn't have any other options. Then, after I had dropped off the truck when I was finished, she charged me $30 for a "late payment" because I didn't give it all up front- it was a per-mile truck, how the heck are they punishing me for that? There as no mention of that when I was initially renting. Then, I got an email a couple days later saying that I had an outstanding balance and they would contact credit services if the balance was not paid in full. She hadn't done something correctly. I will never go back to this place again. Constant, unnecessary headache.

She was knowledgeable, professional, clear, and customer oriented. When I arrived to pick up the truck, one look at the mini storage facility told me a lot about her: it was immaculate. LYMAN L.I dealt with Shirley over the phone when I rented a unit to store my belongings. She was so very friendly and helpful. Then my daughter was there to unload the truck when it arrived. She said the person who was there on Saturday was absolutely outstanding and helpful to them all. She brought them water and snacks and checked on them throughout the process to make sure they had everything they needed. Really special people working there. They deserve a raise!

JOHN M.I don't believe that it was the locations fault that the paperwork was all messed up. The agreement was for the wrong person and the wrong price. Luckily I had a copy of the online agreement or I would have paid significantly more. Spent almost an hour trying to work with corporate getting the paperwork figured out. At one time I had made payment for another persons contract. I now have two charges on my card, hopefully one will be reimbursed.
