Geraldo GThe truck had multiple problems. Broken visors. The seat adjustment bar was jammed and I could barely reach pedals. Ive driven these before w/o issue for2 decades. They also used armorall on the floor mats, so if your foot toiched it, be careful on the pedals. The business was easy to deal with, but vehicles arent maintained. Got it with low tire pressure, damn near flat. Would probably goto a direct uhaul dealer next time ..this was just convenient, but you get what you pay for. But the staff was super cool and relaxed, so its a toss up. Back smelled like death had been hauled...or ancient funiture.
Cara MI loved using U-Haul but the charges were outrageous especially being that I filled up the fuel tank myself. If I would’ve known it would be that much I would’ve just hired a moving company. Will not be using again.
Mark MImprove customer service skills which involves communicating to the customer verbally. Ensure that your customer understands the process of renting a U-Haul from start to finish. Especially when it comes to pricing.

Tamra NWhen we arrived to pickup, there were 2 people behind the counter. One was helping a customer and the other ignored us and then answered the phone. When the person before us left, and we stated what we needed we were directed to the person who had been studiouslyavpiding eye contact. I found that to be a rather rude way of handling things. At least acknowledge we are there with a "be right with you" or something. And definitely don't answer phones and avoid eye contact if you have a specialized task, at least ask "are you here to pickup a uhaul?" And if the customer says no, then you let them know the other associate will be able to assist them.
Diana VEven though I told the attendant I put gas in the truck and left the receipt showing I put 1.7gallons in the tank. (I drove less than 12 miles). I was still charged 11 dollars for gas.

Daniel CThe equipment was ready for pickup and plenty of parking for my vehicle for the day rental. It was a newer truck with few miles. Dropoff was easy and the receipt accurately reflected actual mileage used as opposed to estimate (which was more). Rental location was easy in - easy out; will use this business again.
Michael KInterior of the van was filthy, smelled bad and had tons of dog or cat hair all over the seats. Floor of the van was muddy as well.
george bI was charged a $60 cleaning fee as I didn’t understood what $60 of cleaning needed to be done. What little cleaning was needed certainly could be done in less than 5 minutes. Also I didn’t see in my documentation where I needed to return the furniture pads folded up, and there was no way I could have lost one as the returning location claimed I only returned 23 and not 24. There were also several pads I didn’t use that were still folded up. The returning location said there was a label inside the back of the truck indicating the pads had to be returned folded, which makes no difference since that was not declared at the time of the rental (and it wouldn’t matter how or how well they were folded?). I spent over $1700 on this rental and to now hit me with a $60 cleaning fee when I left more gas in the truck than when I picked it up is quite an insult! For my next rental I’ll definitely be contacting Penske!
Duane FWe got to the location at 7am and the store was closed and didn’t open until 9am. This provided extreme anxiety since our loaders were scheduled for 8am. We had to wait until your customer service opened to find out there was a lock box with the keys. This should have been communicated to us by the scheduler.

cedris fI would suggest when they state that you can return the equipment the next day - it needs to be by the time you had picked it up - so explain the time frame. Also - explain how to return it with the app - if you are not open. Just one more thing - make the app work for people. we could not get the app to work on either my phone or my son's - so was glad you must have looked on your cameras & noticed we tried to do what was on the video. I kept stating it could not find my order. request.
