Need more professional Representatives for U-Haul dealers I had a bad experience wish a person non respectable two customers

We OFTEN rent U-Haul trucks for my balloon decor business. We did after-hours pick-up....at night. Things went smoothly. We did not open the back of the truck until loading the next morning. It was noted that the zippered bag with "moving blankets" was opened and a roughly folded blanket was hanging out. We refolded the blanket and re-zippered the bag. One other thing to note, the steering is squirely...steers to the right.

The directions and location of key pick up were not very clear. Also online check in tool took ages for "approval" with an online representative who never once responded to any of the messages sent through the chat associated with waiting for "approval". Not a user friendly process especially at this designated location.

Online check in and return didn't work well. Truck windshield was very dirty and no washer fluid in truck ...overcharged. Did not want safe move. A 19.99 truck turned onto 98$. Return was terrible. App wouldn't work and took 45 minutes on hold then the owner to return. Overall not good. Over an hour wasted on front and end of rental

worker unhook car from tow dolly. Told me to drive off the dolly. If did and was suddenly stopped because he did not undo the safety chains r safety chains. Don't know if there is any damage but he had to hammer out one of the links. Ugh

Ok. Overall the vehicle was great, no complaints. BUT, on an email, I have screenshotted, it specifically says and I quote, "woman renting u-haul with a smartphone" and the vehicle was located in a dirt lot a little ways away from public eye. That made me uncomfortable not knowing who that "quote" goes to or is visible to see. It asks would I recommend u-haul service to a friend. Absolutely. But, I'm a little sketch to send a female due to woot from my email and it's in a dirt lot away from public view. Also, regarding the dirt lot, in AZ its 116+ degrees, so all the after use photos suck in the daytime. Maybe throw a canopy over them, lol.

The truck was disgustingly dirty and had obviously not been cleaned. There was still gravel in the truck bed. This could have been overlooked, but the interior had sticky splotches all over as though a soda had exploded in the cab. Additionally, there was dirt AND tons of hair all over the interior. It was awful. At the time of the rental, i made note that the cab smelled of cigarette smoke... Later on, my fiancee found a used cigarette butt in the passenger side door. With the dangers of Covid-19, the fact that this truck hadn't been cleaned was extremely disappointing. On top of all this, UHaul"s charges to my credit card do not match whay was on my receipt. Renting a truck from one of the car rental companys at the airport would have cost only a few dollars more, but the truck would have gotten to me clean, I wouldn't have been nickel and dimed for every mile driven AND I would have had it for more than 24 hours. After several moves and dozens of vehicle rentals, over the past couple of years, I am confident in stating that this rental experience was the worst.

I don't like not being able to check-out at the counter. I don't like having to report my own mileage - especially when it means hiking about 1/8 mile to do so. This is a horrible set-up and I do not appreciate having to do the job that someone else is getting paid to do - but just sits on his butt.

Great customer service !! I had never ordered/picked up/returned a uhaul rental truck online before and they helped me complete the process. U haul Pickup Truck was brand new and was ready waiting for me when I ordered it. Returning it was quick and easy. No waiting!

I think that they could of gave some more information. On how the process of dropping off. Like its going be online and not in person. I went to drop of the truck and I could not get to the link and I went home then I had to rush back to the drop of point to try to get pictures for verification but couldn't.

This location is closest to where I live. I was able to rent a truck in the size needed to haul the items I was moving. Service was good. I am satisfied with the experience.

Everything worked great on the trailer. The problem I had was that my pickup time had been moved back with no messages left to me, so I showed up and was sent away for two more hours, with other trailers sitting there. I will never return to u haul, as nothing was done about this, and it was made out to be my fault for missing the phone call.

The salesperson, Alvin, was very helpful. He went over and above to clear my name, because a previous U-haul provider from Friendly Auto Center, posted something on my account in error, which blocked me from renting from U-haul again. I will Always recommend Apache Motors for U-haul rental.

As we were going back to Canada during these uncertain times I found the UHaul employees at this location very helpful. It turned out that the requested smaller trailer was unavailable and Uhaul upgraded us to the larger 5x8 trailer at no charge and included an extra couple of days as well which took the pressure off completely and was much appreciated.

Slight hick-up with the app from U-haul to upload a photo. Also when booking online it said it was optional but once at pick-up they said it was required and then the app didn't work. Definitely not the pick-up locations issue but something related to U-haul itself and the app. I would like to rate U-haul itself....I give it a 3 star based on price. When booking online it charged me 12.8% tax and then at pick-up another 1.5% balance. Also no 5x10's available for one way rent. The 6x12 was way too big and cost more but I had to use it due to the 5x10's not available :(.

Make sure the vehicle was checked in. Apparently it was rented to us without being checked in so when we went to turn it in we had issues. Also the area is extremely unsafe.

The trucks are across a lot from the building. U-Hauls instructions need to be easier. I read through them a few times to figure out I had to go to the building

There were closer rentals to my home. I passed three unused same size rentals to and from pickup Feel cheated on extra milage. When I expressed my concern rep became hostile and took my anger at feeling cheated personal making a bad situation worse.
