I was very confused my son paid at the desk and then it said when we were returning our keys to pay and I had to go to 2 different locations and 1 man kept calling me hon! and I told him my name is not hon and we didn't know what to do with the dollies I rented it was after closing and nobody had told us so we left them in the truck . Next time I move I will not use uhaul.

A super group of guys to do business with. Very accommodating, know you by name, look out for there customers, always willing to help you and go the extra mile to take care of you, Apache Sands re-opening as a full service do all automotive service center has been a great addition to our east Mesa area. They operate on integrity, knowledge and customer service - I highly recommend them for all ones automobile needs.

I will say the U Haul Pickup location was on top of there stuff. But the trailer itself was a complete nightmare to pull. I would NEVER rent one again. I have pulled many of trailers in my life and would 100% say it was the worst. It was so unsafe while I pulled it across country. Also I loaded it to the standards it said and also am a CDL driver that has to load his own load. So I would never let anyone in my family risk their life to haul one of these.

You were good to go. It was fast, quick and easy, both coming and going. Best Uhaul experience in years and if you look it up. I've used Uhaul several times in the last few years. They did good. 2nd time at this location and it was good both times.

Krys took care of my Uhaul rental. All my questions answered, the price was right and he hooked up and unhooked my trailer when I picked up an dropped off. All good with my Uhaul rental and Krys, the Uhaul rental man.

Location is easily accessed and staff was friendly. The truck was very dusty in the cab and the box was not swept, but it seemed well maintained. Overall it was a good experience, just some small areas to improve.

I dropped my trailer off 15 minutes before closing. the attendant said he would come out and check me in but he never showed after 40 minutes I used the mobile phone drop off app.

I rented the truck at another location, but UHAUL does not understand what a reservation means. They did not have my truck ready to be picked up and never sent me a code to get the truck. Funny, because they are in the reservation business. Found out after being on hold for 30-minutes they do NOT have the truck I reserved at the location I reserved it at. They directed me to Apache Sands (out of my way) to get a truck. Guess UHAUL sucks so back they need you to pay for the extra mileage. Apache Sands just wanted to get me out of there and I don't blame them for the screw-up that UHAUL caused. The truck was dirty in the back and they parked it so close to other trucks, I could not get into the driver's seat. Had to get their manager to back it out and it hit another truck with the mirror. I would say, DO NOT UHAULS automated pickup service. They will screw you.

The truck they gave me should be sent to the scrap yard. The truck shook so bad when driving it you couldn't see out the driver's side mirrors. The windshield was filthy and so was the inside of the box truck. I also order 24 moving blanks and was not told till I got there that they didn't have any and I would have to go down the street to get some. I went where they told me and could not find the place so I called and got voicemail and ask for a call back. Never got a call back. I called a second time later in the day when I thought we were going to be running late that evening and would have to return the truck first thing the next (which would still have been within the 1 day rental) and wanted to add my brother-in-law to the contract so he could return it the next morning for me since I had to go to work. Again ... I never received a call back. We did return the truck at 7:00 pm last night and use the drop box. This morning I get a copy of my invoice and they have the Mileage Out wrong as 172485 but I took a pic of it when I picked it up at 8:15 am yesterday morning showing 172506 or 21 miles more than actual. Now I have to go back there and show them my pic. I will never ever ever rent from this place again. I will give them a poor review on YELP. Sheldon Heckman

After he wrote down what I thought my estimated mileage would be, he informed me I had a "split reservation" and I would have to drive across town to pick up my furniture pads. No break on the extra mileage I had to pay for, no phone call the day before letting me know I had no furniture pads or moving dollies with my rental truck.

The truck didn't work and would not accelerate once I loaded my items. It wouldn't even make it out the driveway so I unloaded 1/2 the items and tried again- then it would go, but wasn't driving well. I got 2 of 4 half loads moved. I brought it back to the store the same night and called the next morning and asked for a different truck. I was told the manager would have to approve it and that I would be called back. The man who I was speaking to asked for my number and when I recited it, he told me he'd tried to call me previously, but the call couldn't be made because my number was bad. I double checked the number with him and he said he would call, but I wasn't reached out to. (I think that attendant might not know how to dial long distance from a landline). I tried calling 3 times that day and had no luck reaching someone to answer the phone. I dropped by the store that early evening which was during open hours and the open sign was on, but the door was locked. I went to the store to get a drink thinking that maybe the clerk was in the bathroom; when I came back they were closed. I returned the next day and that location was closed on Sunday. I still haven't completed my move. I want a refund in the full amount.

Folks there were great, the truck was in rough mechanical shape. It's brakes were very soft and screamed when applied. The AC cut out over and over (it was 108 degrees) and the truck could barely hold 60 MPH on freeway. Oil light came on as we were returning the truck.

I requested a 26' U-Haul truck at the same location as my storage unit. The day before my reservation I received a phone call from U-Haul stating that location didn't have that size and the nearest location that did have that size, was 5 miles away. So I agreed to go to that location to get the truck I needed. I confirmed with the associate on the phone that I was going to be doing 24/7 Pick up and drop off as I was getting the truck at 8 PM the night before. At about 7:45 PM, I arrived at the U-Haul location and attempted to use the app to gain access to the key box outside of the location in order to get the key for the truck. I received an error message on the app stating my contract did not include the 24/7 pick up option. I called U-Haul and the associate requested I go near the truck to see if that would unlock access and it did not. The associate placed me on hold for about 10 minutes while he gained verification in order to give me the key box code which he did. I retrieve the keys from the box and approach the U-Haul truck and learned the keys did not work on the truck. The keys belong to a different U-Haul truck. I called customer service again and was on hold for about 10 minutes without anybody picking up. I then saw, we in the distance in a dark parking lot another U-Haul truck. It was approximately a quarter mile away in a dark parking lot. I walked that truck and learned the keys I got were for that vehicle, the rear access door was open, the dolly I requested with the reservation, was missing, and the truck had 3/4 tank of gas. I spent about 45 minutes at the facility and this was my experience at pick up. Drop off was fairly easy. Are you realized the app which required you to take pictures of the inside of the cab and the rear cargo compartment as well as the odometer and gas level. You then just drop the keys in the box.

The agent working the counter was all by himself, but was running around getting everything done for everyone and stayed positive, helpful, and enthusiastic the whole time. Give that guy a raise!!

Back of truck was a little messy the floor had some spill marks. No moving pads at the first locations I stopped at even though I reserved pads with the order. I was sent to a different location and was told they would have pairs but they did not have a single pad. I also tried to buy shrink wrap and was unable to purchase a large roll of shrink wrap at both locations.
