The pickup truck that I rented was not clean, you could see what appears to be drinks that were spilt on both the drivers side and passenger side doors, as well as the floor mats. The vehicle was extremely dirty on the outside ( not really a big issue ), however if I'm paying $80.00 to rent a truck for 24hrs, only putting 50 miles on it I at least expect it to be clean and not smell of cigarettes. I was also charged for fuel (2 gals) which I thought was very petty.... Very disappointing....EWELL G.

The truck was in absolute disarray. Broken parts all over, filthy, not street legal, and should not be in use. I had to delay part of my move due to this which added costs to my rental. On top of that the customer service at this location was non existent. The seemed put out that I was there and could have cared less about the customer or the sale. The uhaul app and on line system runs very slowly. It takes a while to go to the next page and if you hit the button because it looks like it didn't do anything. So you hit it again but it did the first time throws you in and out of pages or says error adding and it did add it so you try again and it adds it twice. I was just trying to check in and it took me an hour of my time cause of this didn't matter whether I was on my computer at home or my cell phone. The whole process should have taken maybe 10 mins. Usage: Roundtrip 2.5 miles, 3 hours. The person at the counter told me she would have to cancel the truck reservation if I didn't take Uhaul's insurance. I asked if I can keep my personal car in the parking area for 30 minutes but she said it would get towed. I still rented the truck out of sheer need. The visor fell on my lap and the engine was rattling as soon as I drove it off. Don't rent at this location.Luz M.

Although the truck was on site and ready for me to take delivery, there was a glitch in the U-Haul computer system which indicated the truck was still in use and could not be rented to me. The customer service representative was helpful and did her best to fix the problem which she did. Unfortunately, this took 35 minutes, resulting in an unplanned extra $67 expense for the movers I hired by the hour.Gerard S.

Absolutely incompetent and will forever be a customer for any other company. Charged a month after rental was completed and a late payment charge after instructed that the payment will process to my card. Furthermore, the truck was rented to pull a trailer and didn't include a hitch so I was left to procure my own at the time of picking up my trailer. The person who last had the truck left it filthy in the back. The check-out guy was friendly and getting the truck was easy. I had a great experience except I wish I knew in advance that I could have checked the truck in at the return through the app. I did not find that out until I returned home and it was too late. Your need to upload my ID through your app is pathetic. Why should I learn a new app to do YOUR job for you? Why should customers have to deal with this especially when your app does not work on my phone? It nearly cost you a customer. Horrible customer service. Our drop off location (unknown to us) was changed last minute to another location. So when we went to drop off our 26' truck we were told he "didn't have enough room" and that we would need to contact UHAUL and take it somewhere else.There was no talking to him and when speaking to UHAUL on the phone they tried to bribe us into taking the truck to another location. The guy clearly had space for the truck he just didn't want to take it. But that's not the problem of the customer that's between him and UHAUL. We told him this and ended up leaving the keys on the counter and walking out. Beware!Amanda W.

We had selected a different return location, but at 1:35pm on the day of return, we received a text from U-haul instructing us to return it to 6505 Archer instead. This was a long way from where we unloaded the truck, but we drove there only to find the location had closed at 2PM on a Saturday! Since we specifically requested a 7PM return time, we did not appreciate being sent to a closed facility. To make matters worse, the U-haul self-return website would not let us complete the return ourselves. It would email us a code, but not accept the very code it just sent. So, I took photos, dropped the key in the slot and had to call customer service to report that we'd returned the truck. Next time, you should not send customers to locations after their posted business hours.Jeff H.
