The guy that checked me in was a jerk. I only say this because I had an issue with my rental and he wasn't listening to me and I had to talk over him to show him a video of the noise the rental made. He then gave me the number of the regional agent. However, it was the worst experience that I have had as Ashley's thus far and I have rented at least 10 uhauls in the past 3-4 years.LORI S.

Cab hadn't been cleaned: full of broken glass and used vaping paraphernalia. Side mirror broken out. Rep came out to replace the mirror in the fixture but didn't position it correctly so no matter how I positioned the fixture it didn't give a proper view. It also didn't hold its useless position. Our return experience was far different than the pickup experience, thank goodness. I can't say enough nice things about how this location handled our return. We were super grateful to be treated well on the returning end because the rest of this move was a monumental disaster thanks to U-Haul's very deep lack of logistical coordination and lack of concern for it's paying customers. I also want to say that this location called us on the day of the return to see how the move was going and the gentleman who called could not have been nicer, a far different experience than what we endured at the U-Haul pick up location. I was charged for a dolly that wasn't there when I picked up the uhaul. It was a last minute decision to rent it and a big mistake to do it online. We were moving furniture and had 2 flights of stairs and some distance to move it so without a dolly it made it all more difficult and since I got charged for one I didn't reach out to any other place. They still charged me never fixed and while I was waiting on the issue to get resolved I was charged a $30 fee cause i didn't pay the last $10 which was what they were suppose to remove for the dollyâ€¦. Very frustrating so just go to a uhaul place instead and don't do it onlineâ€¦Audrey H.

Please Make sure the seatbelts are fixed. This was a hazard because it could not be lowered on the drivers side and it rubbed my neck for the entire trip. If there had been an accident it could have caused even worse injuries. This truck should have never been rented out without the seatbelt on drivers side fixed to where it could be adjusted. Instead it was stuck in the highest position.David L.

The truck was in horrible condition. It was all scraped up with wood exposed instead of the silver casing. We called the main UHaul corporate customer service number and were told that we could return it to a closer location. Someone from Ashley's called the morning of the return and was quite rude and literally yelled at us. It was very unprofessional. We won't even recommend this place as a wheel & brake service.DANIEL W.

It not the companies fault.There is alot of homeless around that area and they sleep in the trucks.I found drugs and needles in the uhaul when I picked it up and told the owner of the shop.He said they deal with it alot and he apologized to me.kenneth T.

The truck had a tiny crack in window I didn't see till started driving. After truck was loaded and driving down highway it did a FULL crack side to side . Scary . So everyone please remember to check for any small cracks in glass... glad we had insurance!monica B.

The back of the U-Haul was absolutely disgusting when we picked it up. There was so much mud, leaves, dirt and grime caked on the floor.... we mopped over and over and it still was so dirty we had to put a tarp down before we put our things in it. We spent a good 2.5/3 hours just cleaning the U-Haul. We had to purchase another day because we couldn't get movers once we drove 4 hours to our new home (because it was after 4pm). Will never ever use U-Haul again. During a time when covid, when you really need things to be clean, U-Haul seriously dropped the ball.JOSHUA W.
I would never recommend the Lexington location i rented uhaul 11/30/2020 put gas back and returned on 12/1/2020 i paid $296 didn't receive deposit back then uhaul charged me again yesterday for $129.74 in which highly unacceptable also unauthorized. On the Uhaul website, please list door opening dimension along with cargo trailer size. I had a 4 wheeler that was 42" wide. I rented a 4 x 8 hauler but the door opening was only 40". I was able to upgrade just fine with this company but it caused extra time and paperwork for them.MICHAEL M.
