The off hour return policy could have been explained in better detail in regards to having to take photos of the mileage, gas, and parking. Didn’t initially have cell signal and not going to pay the roaming charges. Walked til signal was obtained and accomplished turn In requirement.

I rented a 10’ Uhaul truck from Atlas storage southbay on 14APR19. Upon returning the vehicle, I proceeded to fill up the gas for what I used and while doing so, gas sprayed out underneath. I quickly noticed and stoped pumping. I looked underneath for the gas lines and saw two lines not connected, one seemed to be cut, the second main hose was completely off the ending piece. It appeared someone may have did this to steal gas while it was at the establishment. I returned the truck and mentioned this to Atlas and they mentioned that they had a few trucks parked in the front overnight and the gas #’s did not match and they had believed gas to be stolen from them. This should definitely be something that each establishment renting out Uhaul vehicles check prior to renting out. Now this is Another thing that consumers must check while doing a walk around.

Unfortunately when I went to return the truck I made sure all was set and cleared And asked before I left if I owed anything. I later received a bill charge for $140 Stating that I did not add accurate gas Knowing they left it at that amount and charged me triple for it . We tried to resolve instore but no luck .

It used to be that U-Haul trucks came with blankets to wrap delicate furniture, mirrors, etc. It seems that is a thing of the past but bringing that back would be nice.

I did not receive any instructions for my request for an early 0700 am Saturday rental truck pickup from the UHaul website. So I had to wait until Atlas Storage opened at 0800 am for the office to open for assistance. Luckily, Geraldine was very helpful. Geraldine canceled my online reservation and opened up a manual reservation, and I was able to get going. Upon return, Sasha quickly took care of me. Both lady were great.
