My movers said the truck was dirty inside the storage are. Like someone had used it to haul landscaping materials. Overall truck was dirty. Front desk person was helpful with me getting keys but that was all.

ury sLeft my red water bottle behind the seat of a truck I rented. Called to ask if they could just put it aside. The guy who answered was extremely rude and said too bad and it’s not my responsibility. For something that takes less than 2 minutes I thought that was pretty rude and inconsiderate. No need to be rude like that to customers. The rude guy who answered at 9:03am 3/18/24. All the other employees were nice.

Beverly CThis entire experience was awful. My location was shifted to the one on Atwood Avenue in Johnston, RI. I understand that the truck wasn’t available at the original location. At the new location, it took 15 minutes of being there for someone to attend to customers. The guy behind the desk said it was because he had to bring his dog home or something and then had to bring it back to work anyways? That was just the start of awful customer service. The first truck I was given wouldn’t start. It was cold, I understand. But the same guy who wasn’t there for his customers then gave me attitude when I told him. Eventually we got it sorted out with a new truck. Both trucks were covered in ice. I slipped (but was fine) while unloading something one time. There wasn’t any safety maintenance (regarding ice) done to the back of the truck. It’s an accident waiting to happen. I was also charged for a dozen blankets but was only supplied 7. I get that there was a location change and the same supplies might have not been available. But I shouldn’t have still been charged for a dozen. Overall, this was a 1 star experience.
Tyler SFirst off, the person who rented me the truck was Awesome...very friendly. When leaving the place I rented the truck from I think I drove about 500 feet before I had to apply the brakes and when I did, a Huge piece of snow and ice slid off of the truck cab roof and right down the windshield causing me to lose vision of the road ahead temporarily. I got through that little surprise unscathed and on my way I went. I got to where I was going to load the truck and could Not open the cargo door, it was frozen shut.! I went to several houses in the area to try and get some warm water to open the door and finally found some. The step was also a sheet of ice and had to melt it as well. So finally after about a half hour of melting and chipping away ice I was able to start loading. While driving I noticed the "check engine light" was on constantly. I'm a mechanic so I was not so worried about that. I guess overall the things that happened today were more of a broken shoelace type of thing and not a major catastrophe..........

Beverly CTruck not clean, water bottle left in the door, crumbs on floor Only put 15 miles on the truck and put in 3.5 gals of fuel, clearly returned the truck with MORE fuel than when I picked it up but was charged an additional $10.50 for 2 more gallons of fuel on my bill!!

Mathew MThe truck is more outdated than those used by other companies. I preregistered, using the app, and still had to go through the entire process at the desk. I’ve used this location twice and both times there was nobody at the desk when I returned the truck so I left the keys without speaking to anyone. Two workers saw me and just made a comment to each other wondering where the other worker was to assist me. I never received a copy of my final bill either.
ERNEST FMake your reservation system better and do not rip off your customers with adding 200 miles to their mileage. I only went 100 miles and they put down I went 300 miles
Korrie MI have an issue with UHAUL the company and not this location. I am coming from Connecticut to move my daughter into her college apartment in Boston Ma. I booked a truck on 8/23/2023 for UHaul at 19 Pleasant Street, Altteboro Mass. The following day, I get a text stating that the closest location with the available equipment that I want is at 1075 Newman Ave. Seekonk, MA, 02771. I said OK. I called UHual on 9/1/2023 at 8 am and was told that yes the truck was there and will be available for me by 12 pm. As we were on the road, I received a phone call at 10:15 am from your company stating that the truck I booked may be there by 3:30 pm with no guarantee. I had a big issue and then I was given another location to to drive to pick up the truck, 1512 Atwood Ave, Johnston, RI 02919. I had no choice but to comply and accept whatever you are giving me. AND!!!! I end up paying more money for your error. I had to go further to get a truck and was charged more for more miles that I incur because of your company's policy. How is this fair? There is something wrong with your policy and the way you are doing business. I am not faulting the place where I picked up the truck, but I am faulting you, UHaul. And I will go ahead and make a complaint with the better business bureau and even the attorney general. Yesterday was very stressful for me and my entire family. Your company needs to make some changes. However, because you dominate this industry, you may not feel the need to make any changes. That is all that I have to say. Hmmm, Interesting...I see that filing a complaint with BBB means nothing. Ok. So, I guess I will have to go on line and just voice my issues with your company's business practices.
Marcelle BWas told I could drop off after hours. They charged me for two extra days because these idiots didn't realize the trailer was already in their lot. Will be disputing the entire transaction and recalling the charge with my bank on Monday

PAUL AWe dropped off here after hours after traveling from NC. The mobile drop-off was super easy to use and we were in and out pretty quick.

SALLYANNE HOwner Paul made the transaction smoothly for me, and came out to the trailer to hook it up for me making sure it was safe, and explained the weight distribution and slower spped to reduce the possibility of sway. Will definitely rent from this location again, and refer family and friends to consider the same. Richard

I am moving two children to college later this summer and needless to say I will not be using your company.
