When I arrived, the Appliance Dolly I ordered was not in the truck and the blankets were also missing. The person there grabbed 5 blankets from another truck. These blankets were not wrapped, just singles. When I asked about the dolly, they grabbed a small utility dolly and threw it in the truck instead. This dolly was completely useless.David G.

Brakes soft and need adjustment for safety The van smelled of fertilizer or manure from last renter..we left windows open all nite to air out but really the rubber mat must be washed to eliminate the odor..our paper product picked up the smell All was conducted in timely mannerAdam W.

My big complaint is that I was scheduled with all kinds of people to help me move and at the last minute when I called to make sure everything was fine I realized that they move the pick up location to an hour away. I'm lucky I have a friend who could help me. But this is a terrible business model. Plus I had to pay the extra mileage. It really stinks. I'm 62 years old. I moved myself to New York. The last thing I needed was a change like that. I'll look around for other carriers firstvicky B.

For the U-Haul Company: I rented a van and the metal screen/barrier behind the front seats seriously impairs visibility while driving and should be redesigned before horrible accidents occur. I would not rent such a van again for that reason.Mary L.

The 26ft truck needs to be taken out of the fleet. The exhaust is so loud you start to get a headache after minutes of driving, the whole truck shakes while drivingstephan B.
The uhaul website was down so I wasn't able to check out properly and the phones weren't working so I could speak with anyone. I had to leave and come back the next day and hand my keys off to an employee with no idea if I was checked out properly or over chargedOlivia V.
This location needs more trailers. I'm usually pressed to have it back and feel like I'm getting short changed. Just found out tractor supply does trailer rentals and have been using them do to lack of equipment at the uhaul site. Also some kind of frequent renter discount or free rental once in a while is just good business.Scott S.

Nothing at all. Both gentlemen at the store, as well as the woman on the phone helping us with the reservation, we're extremely nice, courteous, and professional. (Even with the difficult woman in front of me in line!). They answered all my questions and made me feel completely at ease and comfortable with the whole process. When I dropped off my trailer, they refused to give me a receipt or any written notice that they have accepted the trailer. Then I got a call from U-Haul days later asking me where my trailer was. I spent 30 minutes on the phone between holding and talking to a rep. It wasn't addressed until I called the hardware store and left a message. I really didn't like sounding pissed off, but I lost 30 minutes of valuable vacation time handling this. Everybody at the store was nice and polite, but I would've appreciated a written confirmation that I had dropped off the trailer.Trenton T.

The location wasn't the problem the uhaul service was overall terrible!!! For one thing we reserved the truck online and paid for it that day. Then 2 days before we go to pick it up they didn't have one available so we ended up with a smaller truck. Then when we scheduled the return it was to Claremont, NH. No they changed that last minute on us so we had to drive all the way to fucking Newport, NH to drop the truck off. I will probably never use uhaul again it was a very agrivating experience.Crystal S.

The overall experience was very good. I was a little disappointed at how low the fuel economy was, and how loud the cab was. Overall our experience was excellent.Christopher F.
The Aubuchon pick up location was fine. My preferred pick up location was NOT. I booked the trailer for the Keene, NH location over the phone. The next morning I went to this location and was told that they do not have a trailer for me. Keene is listed as my preferred location but is not guaranteed and so there was no trailer. I was never told that my trailer may not be located in Keene. There was no mention of a preferred location over the phone and there was no explanation about what a preferred location means. I never received an email or phone call saying that my trailer would be in a different location. I had to drive an additional 40 miles to pick up the trailer. The customer service at the Uhual Keene location was lacking.Alex C.
