Friendly and helpful service.
Duane LIt was a terrible experience to pickup this truck in an extremely cold morning. No one was working there. I had to stay outside more than 30 minutes until I called customer service. I wish there will be someone from U-Haul to talk with me about my concerns. I might be calling customer service to complain this terrible rental experience.

Erin HStart with a few repairs. Sun visor is not fixed properly; falling into vision of driver; locking clip right side of visor is missing. Driver door does not close properly; easily...sounds open while driving. Vehicle was not ready on time. Took some time to remove heavy snowfall. Back door was FROZEN CLOSED and took 2 hours of MY TIME to finally get it released. Gas gauge full status at time of pick up was exaggerated. It was reported nearly 1/4 more full than it actually was - paper/electronic status vs the photo I took upon pick up. Mileage was accurate. Not Nestleton fault, but I did have a GUARANTEED rental, same size reserved out of Port Perry....and then have it removed, necessitating the change to Nestleton for same vehicle size. Given the many hours lost because the vehicle required a new starter, solenoid, wiring and battery - - - lost several hours of my moving time - - - I also accumulated km's that would have been avoided, had UHAUL kept my original reservation on Reach in Port Perry - estimated +35km's - and hours releasing frozen door, some significant discounts would have been applied to my total invoice.

GARY BI was unsure of renting with u-haul based on my last time (NOT Auto Repair on Wheels) trying to get a truck only to have them cancel my reservation 20 mins before my pickup. I have to say I was blown away with the customer service I received from Auto Repair on Wheels. The truck was ready to go and they were very friendly with me and very helpful! If I’m ever in the need of a truck again this will be the first place I’ll go!! 5 out 5 rating for sure!! Thanks again!!

Allen LThe people at the location were very friendly and helpful. This is a very small location. I don't think they checked the trailer before I arrived. Because when I arrived and hooked up the left signal wasn't working one of the wires was broken. They had fixed it while I waited as this was the only trailer they had. Then during my trip all the running lights stopped working. The wiring is a mess it's old and has been patched in several spots. The trailer was very old built in 1994. The rolling door was very stiff. Not sure if the trailer brakes worked never heard or felt them come on once. In my option the trailer should be retired.

Gus CI was told one location when I ordered it and was sent 45 minutes from the location to get the equipment and then told I had to deliver back there so altogether I spent an hour and a half of time and fuel to get the trailer instead of where I was ordering it from

lisa ANo cell service makes after hours pick up at this location impossible. Wasted about an hour on moving day. I will never you your app to rent another truck. Much easier to deal with someone in person.

william cThere really wasn't a driveway, one of the trucks couldn't move due to being stuck, the windshield wiper for the driver had no rubber and the cab was covered in dog hair very dirty.

David Gout in the middle of no where and no one to connect with and unsure if I should even leave the it there, I even called to see about leaving it there and there was nothing there only a uhaul sign and key drop box on a post. really bush league operation and unsecure

Clifford CIf you are going to do business in Canada you should use Canadian terminology.... i.e.. It's a postal code,, not a zip code. Your pre registering system does not work,,,, all of it had to be done again,, which means,, a process that was supposed to save me time at check in,,,,in the end...cost me twice the time..

LAURIE EI was instructed to pick up the truck an hour away from what was originally agreed to and the truck had many scratches and dents from previous users.

GREG GYour reservation system is a joke. Without any notification you people changed my reservation from a 14 ft to a 26 ft and changed my drop-off by 120 miles. It took me 6 frantic hours to get back to a smaller truck that was only 40 mi. away from my original pick-up. What was the point in booking 4 weeks in advance if you can change the reservation to whatever you like without even telling me. Then you treat me like a last-minute booking when I try to fix it up.
ROBERT CCalled the Port Perry site 5 times on this date, all with in an hour and, they did not answer the phone, each time I let it ring 10 TIMES.... Very poor public relations for this site.......

DAN MThe employee at UHaul in Nestleton was quick and efficient and got my final statement to me very quickly.
JOE LStore's internet was very slow and it took forever to secure our truck online. I had to drive 50 km out of my way (there and back) to pick the truck up at this location. (which was Uhaul's fault, not the owner's) On a positive note, the owner was very flexible and I managed to get the truck earlier than scheduled (in the evening - after hours), which made up for having to drive so far to pick it up. The truck also was in great shape and was newer. I personally think internet bookings should be "live" and if a truck isn't available at a desired pick-up location, it should indicate this at time of booking and the customer shouldn't only find this out the day before moving, as things are already stressful enough at that time.
CHERYL CI would not recommend uhaul to anyone after I book a trailer 2 weeks before I need it told you the pick up is oshawa you send me to Nestleton 90 km return out of my way and 25 dollars fuel. This pick up location was given to me one night before I got it. As a customer would you go back to uhaul?
GREG BI was booked to pick up my truck in either Port Perry or Oshawa - the day before our move, we received a voice message (from a computer) saying that we had to drive to this location in order to pick up the truck - VERY inconvenient (considering this isn't where I wanted to pick the truck up!) Plus, I was told that "there was nothing that could be done about the situation". I found the customer service unhelpful and unexperienced. The answers to most of my questions were "I don't know... you will have to call head office" not helpful at all.
AMANDA CYour head office policy are less than desired. We got a phone call on the morning that we were picking up the rental to hear it was not available. We were to pick up the rental in Oshawa but were told we had to go all the way up to Nestleton 40mins away. After half an hour on the phone with your representative the only solution she would come up with was a $50 credit. Big deal!!!! For all our time (which was limited) and gas we end up with nothing for our troubles. She suggested we use that credit towards the KM fee that would be applied if we took a van instead of the trailer. However as I pointed out we were headed for Kingston and it would not even put a dent in the extra cost which we would have had to put out for U-hauls problem with lack of trailers available. I feel that the KM fee should have been waived because it was U-hauls fault they did not have the trailer as promise. When people are counting on it being there it is totally unexecptable not to come through, or come up with a better solution than to just say too bad for you, you either drive 40 mins out of your way 4 times and take the $50 or your out of luck. I will look into another rental company before renting from U-haul again. Customer service sucks!!

GEORGE KYou offer free boxes and other shipping supplies when the vehicle is either picked up or dropped off. Both locations carried neither. Nor did they offer anything I needed. I was also informed I could pick up the truck in Port Hope. Nestleton is quite a distance from Port Hope. You gave me an additional 100km, but it took over 1 hr. 45 min. away from time I didn't have. If I had picked up in Port Hope it would have been approx. 15 min. Computers were down, overall it wasn't good. The sign out sheet said 9:33 am...the actual time was closer to 10:00 am before they gave over the keys so we could get on our way. Make sure there's enough gas in the vehicle without it turning into a panic attack.
