We were sent to this location because our preferred location wasn't available for drop off even though it was open on Sunday which is the day we needed to drop it off. We weren't aware that it wasn't open on Sunday until we arrived there but the driver wasn't available on Monday. We decided to leave the locked truck there and I called them to leave a message that I would bring the key at 8am Monday. I arrived there at 8 and told the desk person I was delivering the key and asked what needed to be done to close the transaction. I was told nothing needed to be done just give her the key. I later became worried that the truck hadn't been checked for mileage or condition and that I had no proof it had been returned. I called uhaul customer service the rep put me on hold while she called the garage and determined that the manager was the only one who knew how to process the return and would do so when they came in. I was assured by the rep that the truck had been returned on time and in good condition and no additional charges were required.Bernard M.

The trailer I rented was not available at this shop after speaking to uhaul and calling to confirm it was the 5x8 THREE TIMES. My car could not tow any larger but there it was... a large trailer there when I arrived. This delayed my cross country move by hours and created unnecessary delays and hassle.Danielle N.

Would be helpful to have a walk-around after the return to confirm the mileage, fuel level, and lack of any damage. Otherwise, there might be some surprises on the final bill.Richard E.

The garage was not the problem, it was UHaul corporate. They ripped me off. I drove the truck 8.7 miles home and had to cancel my trip due to an ice storm. I drove it 8.7 miles back the next day. They charged me for 21 miles instead of 17.4 so the odometer was rigged, and they charged me for 7.5 gallons of gas, which they said was $30. Really? 7.5 gallons for 21 miles? The truck gets 3 miles per gallon? But it was only 17.4 miles. Then they charged me $30 more for a fee of adding the gas. Really? This company is a rip off and you should use Penske.Morgan W.
In order to avoid the disconcerting E-mail from U-Haul, yesterday, stating that I have not returned the truck (17 days after I did return it), and the unhelpful customer service associates I spoke to last night, this U-Haul representative should have taken care of my returned rental IMMEDIATELY. It is very unprofessional that I had to call this location, as demanded to by your customer service associate last night, this morning in order for this problem to be resolved.Annette H.

First when I arrived to pick up the Uhaul the owner of baldwins garage kick me out said oh well to bad we are going to lunch. Had to wait over a hour to pick the uhaul up past the scheduled pick up time. The Turck was a mess when i picked up the Dash and seat had so much dust on them and it smelled of smoke. I will never do bussines with this rental location again and in the last year i have rented a uhaul 3 times and this was the first at baldwins garage. i will tell everyone that is thinking of renting rent anywere but BaldwinsJoseph M.

The first location I was to pick up the trailer from did not have the trailer in stock. One was to return at the exact time of my scheduled pick-up, and it was not returned for at least an hour after the appointed time, at which time to coordinator made arrangements for me to obtain a trailer from the Middle Grove site. I recommend that you leave a little time between drop off and pick-up so customers are not delayed.DAN S.

There was an issue with the payment required to pickup the equipment versus the amount quoted when making the reservation online. I was quoted needing to pay $872 plus tax in store and ended up paying $1,021 in store because the Safetow was added to the bill even though it was included during the reservation process.natasha B.

I was told that I would be reimbursed for returning truck earlier then allowed four days. This did NOT happen. I had mileage to the drop off location for the delivery BUT then had to drive over a half an hour on very back roads, find the return garage which we had no address for and only found it by asking people who lived in the town, THEN we were charged an extra $20 for extra mileage to return the truck. THIS WAS MOST DISTURBING AND FELT MANIPULATED INTO EXTRA PAYMENT. IF IT HAD BEEN CLEAR FROM THE START AND IF WE HAD AN ADDRESS TO THE RETURN DROP OFF IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A FAVORABLE EXPERIENCE. THE PEOPLE WERE MOST NICE. THE PROFESSIONAL POLICY STUNK. I WOULD LIKE TO BE REIMBURSED FOR THE $20 ESPECIALLY SINCE WE RETURNED THE TRUCK AHEAD OF THE ALLOWED TIME!
