Pick up a little slow, not easy to sign out/take pictures because of way uhaul was parked. Had to walk a FAR way to the office. Check out in Colonie was incredibly easy. Good for them for running such an efficient service. By the time I pulled in, I was out of the uhaul lot within 2 minutes! Perfect service upon return.

My overall experience with this location was beyond poor. I am a very unhappy patron. This location called me with 30 minutes notice to inform me that they did not have the trailer that I had reserved and then after an hour of the manager trying to find me one he informed me that is was my responsibility to call corporate and find one on my own. I called several corporate numbers (was hung up on several times as well) and finally was connected to a department in the wrong state! This was now 2 hours after my scheduled pickup which then the manager from this location called to inform me that my trailer had arrived and I could pick it up. After arriving at the location less than 10 minutes later, the manger refused to help me or come out of his office for over 45 minutes which then I proceeded to call corporate and yet again, not a single person could help me with changing my drop off location or drop off date. AND I had to install my own trailer to my car with. I am very disappointed and have even put in a claim to the regional supervisor who has still not returned my call over a week later.

Maybe personnel can do a "WALK AROUND" with rented vehicles before customer drives off with the rented vehicle. Not when vehicle is returned.

Damages to vehicle were not properly marked and I could have been liable for if I had not checked thoroughly Fuel was marked at half a tank even though it was well below that mark. The rear door was very difficult to open and close. I had to oil it to make it usable. The vdrivers side visor was missing the pole clip so it kept falling into my view when driving. I had to use Duck tape to keep it out of the way. Service was slow at the counter. Not my first choice of places to rent from especially when there is a U-haul only 4 miles from my location. I was forced to drive an extra 22 miles round trip to pick up and drop off the rental costing me more in mileage and gas. This was not the best experience I have had with U-haul. The Sherburne location is much more efficient and friendly.

I dropped off the uhaul here and couldn't get the app to work (not their fault). But, I called over 5 times that day to no avail, even though it was within their "working hours". Secondly, they charged me for a cleaning fee when absolutely nothing was left dirty in the cab/bay. They claimed I didn't sweep it but there was nothing to sweep. Will never do business here.

Only problem I had was that I am 5'1 and the seat would not go up any further, so made it difficult to drive.

The customer service was very friendly at this location and willing to help. Only issue was the weather stripping on the drivers door of the truck. The weather stripping did not stay in place and fell into the cab. While in motion this was a hazard by blocking my view and requiring me to take a hand off of the wheel to keep it out of my sight line. I eventually needed to pull over and tuck it behind the seat so it would not cause any further issues. Otherwise the equipment was in good working order and appear to be well maintained.

you can explain that you have to sweep it out or you will be charged 31 dollars the floors were wet so all I would have done is spred water all over so I was charged will never rent from u haul again

The fan in the cab did not work, so the experience was very uncomfortable on such a hot weekend. The suspension on the truck was not the best, so the ride was really bumpy. The truck was clean, but was really showing its age. Service at the U-Haul desk was great.

I feel like the rate per mile is high - I think $0.79/mile is somewhat unreasonable - I would use this service a lot more often if it were lower - the mileage really drives the cost up fast - I frequently buy things out of the area that I live and need a truck to go pick them up and rent a truck off of friends because the mileage cost of renting off U-Haul would be rediculous.

Let customers know that the auto insurance liability insurance they carry on thier personal automobile DOES NOT cover liability in a UHAUL.

Uhaul venue almost triple billed my card. Had to personally go to venue to straighten the first over bill out. Without crediting back over billed amount they billed new charge on top of old charge including the over billed amount. What was a $509 charge was charged $1,200. Totally unacceptable!!!!

The only challenge is being sent all the way to Norwich when I reserved a truck in Binghamton. This was over 45 miles out of my way and added to a long day of moving. Manager (Bruce) was great tow rod with. Also had conflicting messages at 4:00 PM the day before my 9:00 AM rental as to where to pick up the vehicle - after I had two phone calls to confirm going to a location. It really makes it challenging to have to adapt so much after making a reservation well over a month before it was needed.

You can stop over booking your trucks and have them available at the locations promised nothing worse than having to drive miles away to pick up a truck. People rent from certain location close to them and for specific days for a reason. Would not recommend or use again

had very good experience start to finish. I would recommend this location and only recommend U Haul to family and friends this is the second time I have use U haul and both times had great service. keep up the awesome service.

The representative looked up my contract and said it wasn't in the system. He couldn't find it and said he couldn't do anything about it, that I would have to call Uhaul. After more than 20 minutes on hold I finally spoke to someone who determined that my trailer had already been checked into the drop off location, before I even brought it back. The person on the phone called the drop off location and told them it had already been checked in. After the phone call, the representative found the already-checked-in paperwork in a holder behind the desk. Long story short, the representative wasted over 30 minutes of my time because he didn't look hard enough for the paperwork. This wasted valuable time I needed to work on a very time sensitive project for my freelance business. I should not be paying full price, if at all, for this terrible experience.

Chains were very dirty and greasy. They were hard to install to my hitch which was a U-Haul hitch. the 'S' hooks on the chains were not wide enough to easily attach to hitch so a worker had to come and help me. Staff was very helpful and friendly - no issues with them. Just the chains were a mess from a prior user.

The trailer smelled like horse manure. There appeared to be a piece of horse manure in the trailer, or at least a large clump of dirt. In this case an extra sweeping of the trailer, and airing it out a bit to get rid of the stench, would have been best for the next customer.

I did not order U-Haul and somehow my information got out there from U-Haul I'd like to know how and why am I getting these rating programs when I never ordered anything except for months ago this is starting to make me nervous and thinking that maybe I ought to contact the Attorney General
