My son returned the rental. All I can say is that he does not like the way uhaul makes the customer do their jobs. But yes nice employees.

Frank Bfilled out all the information needed to just pick up the Uhaul but apparently, they didn't see that I had already done this. Upon explaining it to the person, they did say "oh yeah." 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up and it said on the paper 1/2 tank, I ended up filling it full before returning (cost more than the rental itself) Returned it early in the morning but did call to make sure they knew it was there and I am glad I called because the person said "well I am sure its here if you dropped it off?" Will not be using this location again.
Anthony AHonestly, I can’t say anything that would make it better. We rented a couple storage units from Black Bear storage and having on-site U-haul trucks available was great! Angela was nothing short of helpful in the rental process. She was great!
Tim EAs stated above, the return was about fifteen miles farther than the closest U-haul location to our destination. I had to park the truck, myself, in a parking space where I had to back into. Not being experienced in using backup mirrors to park a truck, this was an interesting experience. Luckily I did not hit the truck next to the space, nor the boat on the other side, nor the car parked in the space behind.

Alan BDolly drop off in Cedar City and the person working there was telling me from across the parking lot where I need to unhook and place the dolly. I'm 70 yrs old and wearing a summer dress. He expected me to get down on all fours and unhook the dolly and then drag it to where he wanted it stored. I WAS SHOCKED!!!

Stephen PI set up rental online. Pickup time was an hour before they opened. I was told a code would be sent by text to allow me to unlock the truck and go. No code was sent. Called U-Haul. They could not help. Had to wait for the office to open. I requested the appliance dolly. I got the smaller utility dolly with no strap.

Kenneth HWhen I showed up to get the trailer there was a fire. I came back hours later. Fire was out. But No one could help me. I never got the trailer. I had to drive a Jeep w 35” tires and no AC in 100 degree heat for 7 hours. Very unpleasant.
KEITH DLocation was closed due to July 4th holiday. Online drop off was easy and offered a sense of comfort since nobody was there to witness.
DAVID PI arrived, was greeted and out the door in less than 30 minutes. Service was excellent, and I would definitely use this company again! Hopefully, I Never have to move again!

sean zWe have used this location twice now. Grateful for the good selection of equipment, but they seem to be understaffed (usually just one person there with multiple people in the office waiting while the person has to rush in and out to get equipment. It took us over an hour just to pick up a cargo trailer that we had pre-checked in and paid for the day before. The we first time was the same type of experience. We finally got our truck after close to an hour, only yo find out that it wouldn’t start, so we had to spend even more time getting our reservation changed and a new truck. Simple solution- have two people in sight.
Bryan WThey were closest to my home so it was my first choice. People were nice, area is nice, but it was a bit busy for uhaul and one person on staff to help, and I got the feeling that uhaul was an after thought or perhaps not as important as other things. I do realize that sometimes things get busy and perhaps that was a tough time of day. But then I got charged for extra fuel. I filled tue tank to exactly where tue paperwork exported it should be which was actually faulty at my expense. Truth is I lost about nearly a quarter tank of gas charge. That amounts to about $39. Hmmm. This isn’t really the fault of bear river storage, more the fault of rancho uhaul. Perhaps it was a fluke?

We left the dollie there took a picture and did what we were supposed to do after leaving it. We never received a confirmation email. Called several times still no response. BRUCE BBear River is an excellent location to do the uhaul experience with. The owners are nice, warm, welcoming, and outgoing.
DEANGELO DI told customer service i did not want to pay at all for all the troubles, meaning the: 1. The first trailer rented was the wrong size, I had asked for the same size as my rental 6 months earlier. 2. The trailer we used smelled very badly and the smell is into the clothing we put in the trailer. I didn't know of the smell when we picked up due to wind and being outside.
THOMAS SThe franchise owners (or whatever the storage unit folks are) are very nice and awesome evry time. UHAUL corporate, the way you do business, and your processes are atrocious. You shouldnt even call yourself a business. If I treated my clients the way you treat your customrs......I would be out o fbusiness in ten minutes. You suck.

CAROLE VLocation called me asking when I was returning the truck. I picked up at 11 am and was told I needed to return it to the drop off location by 11 am. Drop off location told me it had been rented at 10 am. The truck worked great but having it rented out early and them wanting the truck early soured the experience

curtis mThis is not the location where I originally rented a truck. The other location did NOT have my truck, which I paid for in full prior to arriving. Fortunately, the dispatch was able to find a truck for me 20 minutes away (losing almost an hour to my moving day). The people at both locations were nice. But I'm paying for a truck, which by the grace of God they had at another location - and it was inconvenient to change locations.

DARREN WPut more personality into your job. Couldn’t answer why I owed more money when I paid upfront at pickup in Florida. Told to take it up with Uhaul. Spent over an hour on the phone with three different people to resolve this issue. And it is still not resolved.

Phil MCharged me for insurance after I told them I did not need it, my personal insurance covered the rental. Charged me $350.00 for wrong drop off location when I still had trailer and 3 days left on contract before it needed to be returned, Took 4 days to see my refund back in my account.

Sean MOur trailer was attached improperly and came off the hitch about 1 mile down the road. We were very lucky that we were not hurt and our car only sustained minimal damage.
Brett BBear River seems good. However U-HAUL as a hole is just that. Nearly the worst experience I have ever had with a national company. The Custer service was the absolute worst. 1 hour 20 min on hold. The service rep was friendly and tried to be helpful but the rest of the experience was terrible. I had to change locations to get what I needed and still didn’t get a dolly. 2 hours and 50 min later I was able to drive away. I had helpers standing by and furniture waiting three hours. If I could give zero stars that would be more accurate again for U-Haul as a company, not the local store.
kelly bWhat started off as a 25$ rental turned into 70$+ because it was two hours late. I said I needed a small trailer 4x8 for 10hours. The lady there asked if that was long enough I said I don’t know but then she said she couldn’t change it in there system. Don’t you normally get a rental for 24hrs anyways.. apparently not.... while I was up north I called again to see if I could just leave it up there so it would be on time.. again I was told no I can’t change it in our system. I called the 800 U haul# and of course waited 20 min no one answered...I brought back the trailer two hours late so I had it for 12 hours and expected to be charged an additional 14.95 but no what started as 25$ ended up being 70$ I’m very upset can’t get a hold of anyone of course..I think it’s a scam with their teaser rates... be aware! I won’t be renting anything from u hail ever again!

Kim PI was charged $20 extra for gas when I went 19 miles for my round trip. I was also charged $20 extra for an after hours drop off. No one told me that I was suppose to call a number when I dropped the truck off. I was told that they couldn’t do anything about it at the location but to call the uhaul number. I called the Uhaul number and was suppose to get a call back from a regional manager and I never have. The pricing is outrageous. It cost be $200 to move when I literally went 19 miles.
