Locks was frozen wiper blades messed up. The original location I rented the truck from Hide it Storage did not check the day before to make sure they had keys to the truck, which sent me to this location and wasted an hour and a half of my time and movers timeDanielle T.

There was no dolly for us to use, even when I had requested one with my original reservation days before hand. Also, I was surprised to see that a certain amount of miles don't come included in the rental and you pay for what you go over. So my â€œ$29â€ rental cost $126 at the end of the day $70 was for miles which is ridiculous and that's not including us putting gas back in it.Kimberlyn M.

I was overcharged for the second day. Was told $29 but was charged $40. $11 is not a big deal; but its the principle. Also; no staff on site at the time of drop-off.Justin M.

The owner was very nice and very helpful! He even let us use a dolly for free to help load our boxes! We brought Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes to the central Drop Off location in Wheeling. It was a good experience!Dave P.

No customer service. I had to hook up trailer myself. Did not have a extension/pigtail to connect electrical (brake, tail lights). Could not care less about connector. I had to run to another uhaul location for connector. Then didn't produce a receipt.Kevin J.

The location of equipment is in an area that is not ideal. You have to drive up a very narrow path. I call it a path because it is not paved and has brush growing on both sides. The brush needs to be trimmed back. I drive a 1 ton truck and it was hitting my truck as I drove on it. The owner stores a car in the same area as the Uhaul equipment. If the car was there it would make it easier to return equipment. The total length of my truck and the car transport is 28 feet. Not something easy to maneuver around a stored car. The owner didn't know how to connect equipment to my truck. I acted like I didnt know to see if he would give some advice, no such luck. I also had to verify that all the lights worked on my own. Owner seems to use Uhaul to fill in money gaps of his relestate business.John H.
Pickup location was not the one originally designated and we were directed to this location. Office was closed- we had to call the person and the transaction was done over the phone. No one there to help hook up and trailer was hard to get out of the lot.Ted J.

My reservation was to pick up my trailer at the University Blvd location. I chose this location because of the ratings that it had. I ended up having my reservation change location to Sinclair Avenue. This area is well known to be a bad section of town. (There was a murder nearby in the past week.) I wasnt happy when I showed up and found that there was no employee but just a sign on the door with a number to call. I was there within the business hours posted. I was then instructed to go behind the building to pickup the trailer. There is merely a rutted out gravel path with overgrown vegetation hiding it to get back to the parking area that the trailer was located in. The overgrowth scratched against my truck as I drove in and out to connect the trailer. I recieved no assistance or guidance while connecting the trailer and struggled to hook up a trailer that had no tongue jack. I called Benjamin back and asked if I could get help. He informed me that he was 45 mins away in another state. I needed the trailer that night or I would have canceled my reservation. There was noone around when I returned the equipment either. I will not accept another reservation at this location. Thankfully the equipment was in good condition.Todd S.

The gentleman from thei Uhaul on university boulevard went out if his way to find us a rental we needed to get back to our home after remolding after we had s house fire in sept. It was a blessing fir we could not find one available but he worked to find us one. Bless him and the gentleman at the Uhaul we got van from they were wonderfulJC S.
