The pickup was smooth and easy. The staff at this location are great. Waaay better than expected after dealing with terrible Uhaul representatives on the phone. Lady on the phone was useless and tried telling us to go to Inglewood (15 miles both ways) to pick up our vehicle rather than realizing trucks were available at a different site. The gentlemen at the Beverly Hills pickup site was great and a much better representation of the company. Get rid of the rude lady on the phone and bring more people like the guy I dealt with in person

I ordered 3 dollies and blankets and had to pay for it, but none were provided. It's been 3 weeks and I'm still waiting for my refund. I haven't even heard from U haul following my complaint. This is just unacceptable and very disappointing.

Fuel level in truck was less than was stated on contract. The air conditioning on the truck was faulty. Would cut out completely .

The location wasn't answering the phone. I tried calling several times to let them know I was running late, including leaving several voice messages at the location. However, they never returned my phone calls. Then once I returned, I actually went into the location to do the return self check out process, only to be locked inside the location! They actually locked the gates while I was still in there. It was really embarrassing and stressful to try to hop a fence because they locked the gates on all sides. I managed to find a place on the fence that had a blanket over it, and I was able to jump over it. However in the process the fence caught my pants and ripped them and cut my legs too. This really feels like a sitcom but it really happened... I just can't believe the experience I had. I'm filing a complaint aside from this review.

Hi I was expecting a manager to call me back as I had made a complaint over the phone last week about my recent experience with uhaul on Venice. The person working there when charging us for to rent a dolly, pocketed the cash we gave him and said he didn't have any change to give us- that we would get it when we returned the vehicle. He also said he would not charge us a late fee as I had called him in advance to say we needed to extend. When we took the truck back, not only had he charged us a late fee but still didn't have our change! F

The guy who helped us at Beverly Hills car rentals was very nice, but that was not the location I wanted because it was far from my place. I reserved a vehicle At a location near my place and when we got there, I was double booked for with someone else. With having to call customer service and fix the problem it took over an hour and it was very frustrating. Plus I had to drive somewhere further and use more miles. It was a long day

When I arrived at my original pickup location my reserved uhaul was not available for pickup, so I was directed to this location instead. This unfortunately threw a wrench in some of my plans for the day. The Venice blvd location was helpful and quick, thankfully.

Reservation was for 8 am to 8 pm. However they close at 6 pm and person stressed hard we HAD to be back before 6 pm. Also, rear cargo door could no longer be closed so we had to do return trip with door wide open.

Unfortunately, the pick-up location is in close proximity to a homeless encampment and a little tricky to find. Otherwise, everything was just fine and the company representative was great!

Would have given 5 ?s if I could have just picked up the van ...after jumping thru all the hoops uploading my ID, credit card info etc. I had to do it all over again at the office ... overall not bad, just disappointed on time to re enter all of my data for billing, I will use this uhaul again... -d

The check engine light was on the entire time I had the truck. While it served my purpose as my move was local, I hope that the renter after me doesn't get stranded. I hope you are able to fix the problem to ensure reliability.

The location was ok, but it was UHAUL booking that was terrible. I had to call 6 times to get the reservation right. Based on that, I would NOT recommend UHAUL.

I made an online reservation to pick up a rental at LA Motors. Got to LA Motors and found out that they were no longer a UHaul dealer. Major inconvenience to reschedule and when I asked if I qualified for the $50 guarantee was told that I did and I would be credited in 3-5 days. Unfortunately that was a lie only intended to keep my business. Rescheduled reservation but lo & behold, UHaul denied my $50 request. Very sleazy tactic and can't believe that a company such as UHaul with such a long history would treat a customer so shabbily. Fool me once...

Calling this location a disaster would be generous. The "system" wasn't working when I got there (even though he had just helped two customers before me and one after me). Granted, I made a mistake in my booking, but the person there had no idea how to fix it or help me. He kept saying he would try to help, then, when I had followed his instructions to rebook on my phone it got me nowhere. When I did finally figure it out, the reservation didn't even give me a truck that was on the lot. And the customer service was totally useless. Stay away!! Unfortunately, the person after me didn't have the information regarding my misfortune of booking from Uhaul, so when she had a similar issue, I knew she was in for a wild ride (but certainly not in a Uhaul). We need a truck in another month and will be at Home Depot at 6am day of rather than rebooking with Uhaul.

The location was not a huge problem, the online system for "easy" rentals was. I arrived 20 minutes early to allow for any snags. It took a long time to get the system to accept photos of my drivers license (especially the back). More than 20 minutes in, I got a call. The U-Haul representative said hello, I said hello back. She said hello again and hung up. This was all within a matter of 6 seconds. So then I had to call back, go through a ridiculously exhaustive menu, and wait 10 minutes for another representative. She stated she would stay on the line with me until I got my vehicle. She did not. My phone abruptly went to hold music while we were waiting. Finally, I got on the line with another person. She had a very "can't do attitude." I sat between her in one ear and the physical U-Haul rep in the other ear. Both of them kept saying there was nothing they could do and it was the other person who needed to fix the issue. I was an hour late to my pickup because of this nonsense. I expect the $50 promised if the vehicle is not ready. I depended on this promise as a sign that I would not need to worry about a timetable. And still I arrived 20 minutes early, just in case. Apparently, to be safe, you should arrive more than an hour early. The vehicle was there, but it was not ready based on the system your company created and the actions of your employees.

This is my 2nd time renting a truck here and it's a terrible customer service experience. I've used uhal for years and establishments as this one give the company name a bad reputation. I will never use them again.

The location from which I eventually rented was a good location. But I had a major issue with my reservation. I reserved a 26” truck in Sherman Oaks for 930pm on Friday 3/27 so that I can have the truck at my house first thing in the morning on 3/28. for some reason, uhaul changed from reservation from 930pm to 930am on 3/27 and did not call to inform me. I needed the truck all day on 3/28 so obviously a 930am rental on 3/27 would not work. Either way I was not informed of the change and don't know why it was changed. Since I didn't show up at 930am, the reservation was cancelled. When I did show up at 930pm, with no knowledge that my res was cancelled, there was no truck available. I called customer service and they made a new reservation for me the following day.

This location was great. Staff was professional and helpful. I'm lucky they were available because Uhaul let me book a truck at a location that no longer has trucks. How is that possible uhaul! Uhaul, you're awful and I hope I never have to use you again.

I showed up at 11:45pm waited outside, called no one was there! no note was left nothing! Uber there and Was paying movers hourly so this was a big inconvenience to me! Called customer service 3 times first customer service person called the location then hung up on me the last customer service send me to another location. Overall worse experience ever!

Lucio helped me He was honest and helpful with an excellent attitude and hospitality. I will recommend this location. Last month I rented a van from Culver Automotive Center. It was horrible condition and terrible customer service. It is a shame uhaul is allowing them to operate

The place they told me to pick up a truck didn't have a van. The workers said "Call the 800 number and tell them they messed up again." Then they scheduled me to return the truck when they were closed for 2 days. So I was given 1 free day but was charged for the miles I had to drive the truck back home and back again. This was very poorly run all around.
