Ensure that ordered equipment is part of the transaction (dolly was missing). And when your customer service agent calls to ask how the rental went, you explain fine but the dolly was missing and and they say you won't get charged but you do anyways, make sure they actually follow through.Jeffrey S.
Rented a 20 foot truck for two day, when picking it up the contract was for only 24 hours. Had to take a 15ft truck too small for my needs. took the attendant an hour to log me in . Truck cab was very dirt had to wipe it down with disinfectant . at lease the truck was mechanically sound.carl H.

Truck wasn't very clean. Took pics and added to the account when checking in. When returning the truck, it asks if it's clean and I answered no and got charged an extra $25 for cleaning. Thanks uhaul.STEPHANIE J.

It would make more sense to have a dedicated UHAUL location rather than share one with a variety store. You need a huge parking lot for a proper UHAUL location. This store is not a suitable location. The men working in the store were very pleasant and knowledgeable though.PETER M.

The rental was delayed by 2 hours due to a disorganized team, not because of a late return. They misplaced the keys for the vehicle. This was a massive inconvenience when having to move cities, especially during a thunderstorm! Would never use this location again. Horrible experience.AIDAN F.
I just got a receipt for my Uhaul rental on Saturday. The Contract Number is 28506722 The end receipt shows that I returned the car with 3/4 tank of fuel. The guy at the store is a complete liar. I filled the car PAST the F mark before returning it. When I came into the store to drop off the keys, he was on his phone, and he tells me "go and take a picture of the dash, I need to see the mileage" I said okay no problem. I go outside, take a picture. I come back in and show him. He says "ohh this only shows mileage, I need to see a picture of the gas, go back and take another picture" at which point I tell him "dude... why don't you go and take a picture, this is your job no?" and he replies back "okay don't worry about it" So I guess he figured he'd get back at me by lying about the gas. I mean look at the contract at pickup vs contract at end. I drove 14 KM. How exactly would a car take 30 LT of fuel that I only drove 14 KM When I stopped to refuel I put in $16 of gas and it basically overfilled it past the F mark. I put in. $16.01 at Pioneer. Since I used the car for 14 KM I basically overfilled what I had used until the car went past F and the hose stopped pumping gas. But I guess the guy at the store thought he would be really clever and just rip me off. I have proof of payment for the gas as well.Nicolae F.

We went to the location early around 845 so the truck would be ready at 9 and we completed the virtual check in which gave us an error saying there was no truck available for us. Not sure what happened there but we did book over a week in advance... We proceeded to go inside There were 2 people waiting for u hauls one who had been there for over 30 mins. We didn't get served for our uhaul to complete the check in until 850... on moving day where we had other services coming to the house we needed to be back for and this set our entire schedule behind. Not to mention by the time we got out it was 1015... not only did we spend well over an hour and a half at the check in location we didn't even get a sorry. Really there was no communication of what was happening, what stage they were at in the process etc.. I feel bad because for the first portion it was only one individual working the store trying to manage the uhaul customers and regular customers. However shame on the manager for setting that individual up for failure. So many things went wrong, not sure if there is training for anyone working at an agency location for how to assist in checking in uhaul customers but if not then there should be. I have dealt with uhaul for many moves of mine but I do believe it is time to explore other brands like Penske and suggest this to my friends and family too so they don't ever have to deal with this issue on an already stressful day like moving day.CORYKEVIN L.

The rep at the store knew nothing about Uhaul and I had to work everything out over the phone instead. I was assured that the blankets that I had booked for that day would be in the truck however they were not when I went to pick it up. And again the rep was unable to help me. But the icing on the cake was the fact that I left my car there for the evening and it got damaged.. When I returned at night, someone had backed into the front of it and dented the grill badly. This isn't necessarily the locations fault but I will say that the over whelming feeling is that these satellite locations are not a good choice to pick up a rental. In this case, there just isn't enough space for trucks to be backing up and being stored properly, and the dent in my hood is a clear indication of that for me. I'll never go to pick up at anything other than a true Uhaul store from now on.Marcia H.

Place I got the uhaul from was fine but I don't understand how every single time I reserve something with uhaul it's a gigantic headache to just hand me over the keys once I already paid? I shouldn't be standing there while someone fumbles with my reservation when I'm trying to move from one house to another. Just give me the keys and let me go.BRENDAN M.

The gas consumption is debatable. There needs to be a more exact way of determining the before and after. If you don't fill it enough you will be charged an inflated gas price. If you fill it more than you used, well, they are happy!!! Good experience overall,RYANMATTHEW D.

This big bee location rented out my uHaul I had reserved beforehand and was told to come back at 11:30 when the truck I reserved would be returned or I could take the local truck but would have to bring it back meanwhile the truck I reserved was a one way I was at this location for over 30 min while the employee set up my uHaul not impressed with this service and I will not be using this service again.Cory B.
we had checked in on line. we went there for 11:30- truck pick-up time and had to wait 40min to get the truck for various reasons including having to answer most of the questions we had submitted via on-line check in. There was only 1 store clerk- thus we waited 40 min for him to be free. we want to rent again for Sept 25 but would like a different pick up locationJames B.
My pick up time was 7am, the guy working didn't know how to do it and had to call the manager, I didn't walk out until 750am with the keys and when I said that I don't know if I can get it back it time because I've lost an hour, the manager on the phone said no, someone was picking up at 1130am. I saw the reservations on the iPad because they couldn't find mine and there were 3, and 3 trucks outside. To waste an hour of my moving time and then be like that was disgusting. I paid for two furniture dollys, a utility dolly and furniture pad and there was only one furniture dolly. This place should be stripped of their affiliation with uhaul with so many negative reviews and experiences. I wish I had read the reviews before booking with them.Sierra K.
Changing the location to effectively a different city is an egregious abuse of customer trust and reliance and an accessibility issue. I will for that reason not be using Uhaul again.Kit S.

Both employees i dealt with had no experience with the uhaul truck. When picking the truck up i had to wait 20mins for the employee to figure out how to complete and give me keys. Had to have the store manager on the phone the whole time. All this delay ultimately meant i had 20 mins less to move my stuff and very much affected move time.Anja L.
The truck was super dirty when I got it. I took pictures. Just not in the cab which was also very dirty. I tried my best to clean everything up. The storage area was swept and mopped. Can wiped down.David B.
I returned the uhaul with the amount of gas I received and I was charged $70 for it not being at at the correct level. I made sure to put gas in right before dropping off. There is no way I did not have the correct amount of gas in it.Alex P.

The advance check in confirmation said to pick up the truck at the Barton and Nash Location. Unfortunately, they said that they did not have our truck and that we would have to drive 15 minutes to the Cannon st location. When we got there the truck assigned to our account wasn't at the Big Bee uhaul centre on Cannon. Luckily a uhaul employee was on site and corrected the issue. This confusion and wrong address for pick up negatively impacted our move. We had the elevator booked for a small time frame at our apartment and we ended up missing 1 hr of moving time. All the professions that we dealt with were wonderful but the system needs improvement.Frank R.
