Trailer was swaying while on the expressway. Felt unsafe and went back to Houston to figure out an alternative. I was asked if it was hooked up correctly and by this being my first time I had no clue. Spoke to customer service and roadside assistance 8 times and they were sending me back and forth giving me the run around. 0/10 experience, wouldn't recommended for long travel.ANTWAN W.

I have been a satisfied Uhaul customer for several years until now. I normally visit a facility that is actually a Uhaul store. Unfortunately, the first facility I went to did not have a van available for the length of time I needed. Since I was dropped at this location I needed another facility close by that I could walk to. This particular authorized facility was a mechanic shop. The vehicle was dirty inside and out. The change oil light was on and the vehicle jerked really bad when changing gears. It was raining and I need to move stuff immediately so I went ahead and took the vehicle. I was not given a paper copy of my rental agreement. Upon return of the vehicle my app would not let me check the vehicle back in because the mileage now was less than the beginning mileage according to the app. I told the attendant about the problem so she began the check in process. She said she would fix the issue for me and did not know why it was not allowing me to check in. I also told her I was not sure what the gas level originally was. I asked her to check it for me on her app so if it was not I would take it back to the station to put more gas in it. She assured me it was correct. I drove this vehicle 15 miles. When I was at the gas station to refill the vehicle it was half full. After reviewing my contract I saw that the tank should have been filled to 5/8 of a tank which was one notch less that I replaced. I was charged an additional $6 per gallon for the gas About $30 more on the rental. So 15 miles driving the van used two notches of gas? The vehicle definitely needed repairs. I will continue to use Uhaul but never this location again or a location that is not a Uhaul store.Katherine H.

Big Ten Auto Shop was perfect. My issue is with uhaul and how I had to chase my reservation around the city of Houston. I also had to drive out of my way to get the trailer. I give UHAUL it's self 1 out of 5 starsChoe H.

They were not helpful, told us upon dropoff that they couldn't do the paperwork. And to go on app and return it. When I logged in it said I had no reservations. She again said she couldn't help. Jessica did an excellent job of renting the vehicle and adjusting the final payment. The after hours return process is complicated and cumbersome. The WiFi connection failed repeatedly. Even while on the phone with Go U Haul it was difficult to complete. A form to write the time, mileage and gas level on could work with a motion camera to verify the time. Then a follow-up call from U-Haul like I got today to verify the details.Nancy E.

I've written a couple of emails/reviews over the last couple of days as I've experienced this nightmare of a move so they have bit a all over the place so I want to put them all in one place in this comment section. To begin with, I currently live in Lawrenceville Georgia. I relocated from Stafford Texas a few months ago and my furniture was still there in a storage unit on Murphy road. I hired a long distance relocation company to bring my things to Georgia but was told the truck could not fit into the storage facility and he may or may not be able to get it that day. So I decided to rent a Uhaul for 2 days and have my brothers that reside in Houston empty the storage and park the Uhaul in front of their house until the mover was ready. I called and reserved the truck that morning and explained what I was trying to do, she agreed that 2 days was a safe bet and I reserved a 15 foot truck at the location that was closest to the storage with availability at 603 FM 1092 Stafford, TX 77477. I asked her if the truck could be picked up within the next few minutes because my brother literally lived next door and he had to be at work at 10 and she said that it was available. She told me the price which was around 70 asked me for my credit card information and told me that my brother would just have to show his driver's license and give my telephone number once he arrived to pick up the truck. 15-20 minutes I get a call from my brother asking for my credit card number again because the price went up, I ask him how is that when it's an in town rental. The prices are painted on the sides of all of the trucks according to the size. He said that they only have the 20 foot truck available. I ask him if I can speak to the store representative and I greet her and ask if she is who I spoke with earlier (not knowing that calls are routed to customer service representatives) because I was told a 15ft truck was available that's why I made the reservation for that location. She says "no and they are not in the stores and they don't know what we have, anyway it's the 1st of the month and everyone is renting a truck. You get what you get." Those were her words and she made no apologies; she then said, "if you want I can put it back out there for someone else to pick up and if they have a 15ft truck available they will call you." I said fine because it was apparent that she wasn't going to be of any help. Around 5-10 minutes later another store called and said they had a truck this was the Big 10 Auto. I explained to her what I was trying to do and the time restraints I was under and she put the reservation until 5pm. A 2 day reservation. By this time my brother was at work so it had to wait, later on when my brother took a break he went to pick up the truck because I assured him that it was reserved and it was available and all he had to do was show his license and pick it up. Again he calls me from this place FRUSTRATED saying that the cost is more expensive than iAlyssa G.
