I received the truck with halftone of gas and more mileages that were recorded on the document. I received the truck with 65101 and recorded was 65083. This is not right. Now I am being charged for extra mileages. When I approached the attendant, it was OK to proceed and I won't be charged. Now it is different than what was said. I did not like it for being charged for what I did not use.

This was the first time I ever had a uhaul representative just point to where the trailers were and said, find yours and hook it up. There was no assistance, I'm glad that I'm a capable person. This is a dangerous practice that should be addressed.

I rented a vehicle from the Nanuet location a week before and prefer that location. Very disappointed that the vehicle I got this time did not have cruise control.

Although I dropped the truck off at the required time and filled the tank to precisely where it had been when picked up and noted by Bob's on the contract, a notch above the half-way mark, the woman at Big Tows merely instructed me to put the key in the drop box, with the original contract, which I did. Apparently, there was no one at the location to verify the gas level or inspect the truck, or give me a final receipt. Since I had no choice but to leave the truck, I hoped they would be honest and send me a final tally receipt for the rental. Instead,, Big Tow sent me a statement via email, informing me I'd been charged an additional $10.60 cents to the total for gas, claiming the truck was below the line indicated, at precisely half a tank rather than a notch above, which was patently untrue. Since no one was there when I dropped the truck off, of course, I had and have no way to contest this charge. Additionally, I'd have liked to receive a full receipt of the entire cost (including the insurance I paid for), for tax purposes, but they sent no such receipt, only the statement of the added charge..

Rude liars I started with the Nanuet location you never gave me a real “but told me that the truck would only be available at Spring Valley location. When I went to pick it up they had added insurance I didn’t want and told me they were unable to remove it. They overcharged me I believe for the actual truck rental and then I learned that it’s normal for this time of year but the rudeness of William Clark the text messages he sent me or so rude I have a complaint them I will never use your company again and lied about storage telling me that it was only available in Asheville and finding out I could’ve used it anywhere - The stress I went through was unimaginable and the rudeness I encountered in the long waits on the telephone and the fact that their locations close at 5 o’clock when people are moving is just unbelievable to me- Boo U-Haul

Uhaul confirmed my reservation, but the location was actually close the day I picked up the truck. The other company at this location was able to process my rental. This would have been a disaster if I could not have gotten the truck that day!

I went online and reserved a cargo van. I picked up the Cargo Van at Big Tows in Spring Valley, NY. I wanted to reserve the van for 5 hours but the website online wasn't allowing me to type in 5 hrs and only accepted 1 hr for usage. I took the extra coverage. I got charged 19.95 + extra coverage for 5 hours, not the19.95 as advertised. My bill was about $80-$100 more based on all these additional charges that were never communicated to me. We picked up the van with 3/4 full gas tank. We dropped off the van with that exact same fuel tank level at 3/4 full. Big Tow charged us for 2 gallons of gas. The woman at Big Tow did not inform me that I would be charged per hour or that I needed to drop it off with a full tank. The only thing she told me was that I would be charged for mileage. We also reserved 2 dollies, which we had to go to the Nanuet U-haul location. Nanuet had no dollies available. The van was clean and in good condition but I don't think we'll ever rent u-haul again based on our above described experience. I don't recommend using U-haul. They have deceptive advertising and have no oversight for locations like Big Tows.

Great experience- the two ladies at the front desk were very friendly and explained everything clearly. I was out the door in 5 minutes, and the equipment was exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely use again

Only one… I chose the purchase of blankets but because the lady at the counter literally just handed me the keys and said “You can Go it’ll take too long to process the credit card for some reason It’s not working and I don’t want to hold you up”… As a result nobody inspected the vehicle with me and I didn’t notice that there were no blankets in the truck that I had ordered online. It turns out there were movers who let me borrow a few blankets at the location I was. So the only thing I would like is a $10 refund otherwise everything was perfect.

When we got there at 8:45 am for a 9am pickup we were told that the truck was not safe to drive and that someone from UHaul should have called us. No one called. The woman behind the counter called someone and then told us that it was just a bolt that needed to be fixed. How it went from unsafe to a bolt is beyond me. She said it would only take 10-15 minutes. We ended up waiting over an hour. Also this location had the truck on Friday because someone called me to ask me why we hadn't picked it up because it was still there. That was another UHaul mistake. i had called and told the person on the 800 number that we needed to pick it up on Saturday instead of Friday and she supposedly changed that. So Big Tows had an "unsafe" truck from Friday knowing we were picking it up on Saturday and did not fix it before we showed up. Completely unacceptable.

Horrible horrible service. don't go near this location with a 1000 ft. pole unless you love being chased by a dog. When I returned the truck a few hours later than expected due to crazy traffic, they sent their dog after me. Had i not been near collapse from the horribly long way, i would have called police right there and then. If you care about our community, don't go to this location and let's show them ROCKLAND WILL NOT TOLERATE SUCH HORRIBLE BEHAVIOR!!
