Original reservation was at a north Spokane location, then was called two days prior to reservation to be told we had to pick it up in Spokane valley at 10 am. We arrived to said valley location, and no truck. There was at least 30 minutes of just dead time before my wife went to the desk and told the employees we weren't leaving without a truck. Finally they started calling other locations. It wasted an hour and a half and gas driving to all the separate locations.Jason H.

This place has absolutely zero parking. I had to park it down the street on the side of the road. Why would this place even by a Uhaul facility? They had 1 trailer there because that's all they had room for. Also, why couldn't I return my truck to the massive uhaul facility that was 2miles from my house instead of driving to the complete opposite end of the city I live? Everything about your service was awful excpet your truck. The truck was clean and well maintained. But that doesn't make up for your screwed up operations.TRAVIS U.

No one was there to help. It's an old auto repair place with razor wire, flat tired vehicles, old mattresses. Truck was filthy on the outside. Owner of shop said no one let him know we were coming or that the truck was there. No checkout process. None of the moving items we ordered were there. Wasted 20 minutes for the key and then had to go to a different location to get the pads and dolly. Called U-Haul and all I got was â€œyou agreed to pick it up thereâ€ which isn't true. That was the only option I was given. Was told I'd hear from U-Haul in 72 hours - I'm still waiting.Christine W.

First, I was supposed to pick up my rental early in the morning. They arrived an hour late and were not even apologetic. Second, the checkout took another 20 mins, despite already checking in online to save time. Third, the condition of the truck was not great/clean, compared to other uHaul trucks I have rented in the past. Third, my checkout fuel gauge on my contract was set of full where it was only three-quarters full. I did not notice until I was on the road because I was in a hurry back due to the hour lost by their lateness. I was very dissatisfied with this location and will rather go to a uHaul rental location next time.Panshak D.
Called the number on my contract for drop-off and nobody answered. It was a mechanic shop and had a couple U-Haul trucks parked on a side street in the dirt and nobody was there. I followed the online drop off instructions and never made contact with anyone at the drop off facility.Kyle J.

Pay attention to customer appointment times for pick up and teach other employees proper ways to rent out equipment to customers so there is not confusion and a mess. What should take 5 minutes took 3 hours.Emily C.

I am no longer using uhaul services for anything and I will continue telling everyone I know about how the Sprague location that I first went to tried to force me to take UNSAFE faulty equipment while refusing to let me take a unit that was safe and functionaljames C.

Apparently this location was supposed to be closed for the holidays. when I went in the guy said I didnt need to do anything other than drop the key which seemed weird. I called the other uhaul location and they told me I would need to go a customer self check out with pictures. I called them and asked them not to move the truck because I needed to check it out. The guy who apparently did the check out in person ended up coming and doing it for me which was nice. Poor communication apparently between uhaul and blue moon? Location is kind of a pain to get to with a big truck too. Very nice staff and we got it done!Janice C.
The trucks were fine, but the customer service was poor. I had 2 trucks, a 26 foot truck (reservation number 26036192), and a 15 foot U-Haul for the reservation attached to this review. We booked weeks in advance for the 26 foot truck, and we requested a pick-up close to our home. A couple of days before pickup, we were informed that our pickup would be from a location about 15 miles away despite multiple pickup locations close to where we were living. This resulted in additional costs for mileage and fuel. Also we got the 26 foot truck based on the advertisement that it could move a 3-4 bedroom house. This was not even close for our small three bedroom home. This resulted in us having to pick up an additional 15 foot truck that we had to fill 3 times for our remaining items. The person at Blue Moon Auto where I picked up the 15 foot truck did not know how to rent the trucks, and it took nearly an hour and multiple calls to U-Haul support representatives to get the rental complete. This resulted in expenses to pay movers while I was waiting for the truck rental. When I called to confirm my rental for the 26 foot truck, I was told that I could drop off the truck at any other location in town if there was a uhaul location closer to my new home. I was given a number to call at that time. When I called to arrange the to drop off both trucks at a closer location, I was told that this would not be possible and that if I did not take them back to the location I picked them up from that I would encur extra charges. This again resulted in additional fuel and mileage costs. When I returned the 15 foot truck to Blue Moon Auto, I discovered that I was charged for a dolly and 6 moving pads that I never rented, and they certainly did not come with the truck. I contested the charge at check out, and I have not paid that bill yet. When I arrived at the location that I picked up the 26 foot truck from, the check in location listed in the app was different than where I picked up from. I again called the number I received when I called to confirm the reservation. I was told that if I did not return the truck to the designated return location that I would encur additional fees. I told the representative that I was told to return the truck to the pickup location and that I was unwilling to pay for additional fuel and miles to take it to another location, so she did change the drop off location back to the location I picked it up from. I will not be using U-Haul again, and I will advise others to avoid U-Haul as well.Casey F.
