I had ordered the dozen moving blankets yet never received them, they did not go over the truck with me at all to see any damages or anything, breaks on the vehicle were badly warped and should shudder and the steering wheel would shake while breaking it was quite scaryBRANDONKYLE B.

Now to top it off the drop off locationâ€¦. What a joke. I parked it in the entrance of the drive way (taking up almost the whole thing) because there was low hanging wires. There was already 1 truck coming into contact with the wires and the truck I was driving was even taller. How do you expect people to park somewhere when they don't fit or will do damageâ€¦ are you guys looking for insurance claims? And no that is not the taxi locations fault. The fault lies with uhaul for 1- using that location and 2 not actually knowing their own drop off locations. Oh not to mention the dollys. When you drop off a truck and no one is there where do the dollys go? I put down the moving blankets and put them inside. That way they would not be taken out of the back and then you force me to pay for it. There was no one there and I had to make 5 phone calls trying to get someone. Going to the emergency line and then hanging up. If it was an emergency this review would have been worse. There is a lot of ways you can improve u haul, but I am assuming the company as a whole does not want to spend the money.MITCHEL N.
Manager is excellent and understands I need 1-3 rentals most weeks. She works hard to ensure she has 15 f trucks and vans available. Vehicles need to be returned clean and sanitized which seems to not be the case.KIMBERLEYA A.

The dispatch person was amazing and worked to help get the rental signed out during the rogers system being down. The office is old and could use a freshing up. The van worked fine however, it reeked of pot.GAILA R.

The van needed cleaning but the maintenance was fine. Also, I paid using both my debit card and my credit card because Rogers internet was down when I returned the van but both payments were processed and now I'm having difficulty getting anyone to correct the duplicate payment. I was told by the local U-Haul outlet to call customer service which I did but after an hour on hold I gave up. I would neither use U-Haul again nor refer anyone to it. Joe D.Joe D.

We reserved a 20â€ truck 2 months in advance our move and one day before the move date we received a call saying you didn't have it, after a long wait you gave us a smaller one but had to pick it up in a town and hour from the city. We had to rent an extra truck with another company in order to do our move which cause a lot of stress, time and money. When we picked up the truck the Uhaul customer representative was really nice but the machine connected to the computer didn't work and we had to wait a long time, also the location didn't have the furniture pads we reserved. I would not recommend Uhaul and would not use it again.Andrea C.

I had originally requested pickup in Newcastle which is closer to my home and would have been lower mileage to pay for, however, Amanda at the Bowmanville location was awesome and I would definitely go there again.Shelley B.

mix-up with initial booking. booked a cube van, but initial person booked taxi. didnt listen well (may have been very busy. sounded unhappy i called back to verify order). a FANTASTIC lady who took up my request early morning (7am) opened on time, then worked tirelessly amidst call-frenzy to balance my needs and incoming calls. 45mins later (tech issues, system froze. a gentleman came to try and help, no luck), all ended well eventually. awesome lady (model for great customer service) in office! supportive gentleman.ANDREWO S.
