Temporary gate code did not work returning after hours. Called the emergency number multiple times and left message. My call was never returned. Luckily a gentleman showed up to put something in his storage unit and opened the gate for me after waiting for a return call for 45 minutes.Brent L.

The location was not bad it was the customer service when you called the number first they told me the U-Haul was open and it wasn't then I had to do it over my phone because when I did get to the location it was it in the computer and then when I did over my phone I got in the computer but the overall when this was the worst let's take I are done and I do a lot with U-Haul I knew Hall needs to quit trying to update stuff keep our information that people that keep on using it in the customer service needs to be way better than it was and if your U-Haul dealer you should be open at 8 o'clock in the morning not 10 or 11 and my morning no matter what size you areJoseph P.

I reserved my pickup location at the South Campbell location in Springfield, MO. I was notified the day before the pickup was changed by U-Haul another location. I booked the Campbell location for the specific reason it was close to my move address. The change made by U-Haul caused me unexpected time and mileage.Lawrence C.

we spent extra 25 miles looking for a drop off from republic to billings and back to springfield on Sunday night. we were told to drop off in republic, it was not a drop off ;point, please make drop off instructions more clear. it caused us needless time and expense.Richard B.

The location was clean. The Trailer was fairly clean. The customer service was lacking. I called on the 17th to change my reservation, however I did not hear back. I called back on the 21st (the day before my reservation) and the mini storage manager on the phone blamed the system for not being able to call me back. When I was in the office to pick up the trailer, the same manager was rude and impatient. Also, when I was out of town with the trailer, Ginny Myers, another U-Haul dealer took note and let me know the trailer was attached wrong and the trailer had not been inspected for 3 months. I will not use Bradford Mini Storage again.Victoria J.
The lady that helped me with the pick upon the truck went above and beyond to help me with my rental. I'm in an abusive relationship and needed to get as much stuff moved asap. Holly made it all possible and I actually got to smile and feel safe which I haven't for months. I will need to get another truck i couldnt fit all my stuff and i have two cars that all need ro go to Springfield as well. My ex didn't allow me to work or have any contact with the outside world so as soon as I can come up with the money I will go back the her again. Silva is Springfield where I check the truck back in was very helpful as well. I have rented from uhaul before. My experience with the store on North Glenstone in Spfld was the worse. The truck had problems which caused me to be late. They never corrected their mistake on how much fuel was actually in the truck on pick up then charged me for an extra day. And I put Ezra gas in it Not once did they try to refund my money. I would have never rented from uhaul again but I had no choice. Thanks to service I got this time and when I can come up with money to get the rest out of my ex fiancÃ© house that now his new girlfriend lives here too. The cab area had food in the floor. The attendent did not do a walk around with me and did not check any part of the truck. She just handed me the key and and said sign here .GARY C.
Was told we got free storage when we rented the truck and was why we choose U-Haul in the first place. When we got to the address of the storage place we were given by U-Haul, they informed us that they didn't participate in the free storage anymore. We had to find and pay for alternate storage out of pocket which was a moving expense we had not anticipated(since we had been promised free storage when we rented the truck).DWIGHT M.

When we arrived, the office was closed. Almost one hour after their posted opening time. We had to knock on the attached building to try and get someone to open the office and help us. Also I paid for the rental furniture blankets but was not provided with any. I have not had that situation happen in the past with U-Haul nor did I have any issues with the drop off. So while I have an overall positive experience with U-Haul, this location and this particular rental was not ideal, especially given that I paid for services which were not rendered.Benjamin R.
I was told upon pickup that when I return the equipment that was scheduled to be returned to the pick up facilty, that it was closed and I "needed to find another uhaul location to drop it off". It would be helpful if those arrangements had been made prior to the pick up. We then had to find another place that was open on July 3rd, which proved to be quite difficult, requiring multiple phone calls to make arrangements. Then, when arrangements had been made through the uhaul call center for drop off, we were told it would be $250 to drop it at the alternate location. Ridiculous amount of stuff to go through just to be able to drop it off and tons of time wasted. Terrible communication on part of the pick up location and the uhaul call center. Email confirmation sent by uhaul stated for us to drop it off at the pick up location, which was clearly inaccurate.Lloyd W.

Have someone available to assist connecting the trailer to the pulling vehicle. Luck I was able to hook it up myself using a 2X6 and my hydraulic jack. Do your trailers no longer have tongue jacks?RON J.

I set up my reservation through uhaul.com. The local franchise owner's closing time was earlier than I scheduled for pick up. He stayed after and waited for my arrival as I was traveling from out of town to pick up the auto hauler. He could have easily closed up and I would have been out of luck. I am very appreciative for his courtesy to stay.Brent H.

The proprietor was knowledgeable and helpful. The truck did have some dirt in the corners. The biggest issue that I had was that I found live cockroaches in the truck before loading. I did spray the truck several times with insecticide and found that they were hiding behind the tie-off railings. I have moved long-distance seven times and locally 8 times in the last 28+ years, each time I have used U-Haul. While I have been disappointed that the air-conditioning did not work on a move eight years ago in August of 2005 (when it was over 100 degrees coming across Illinois) I have never encountered bugs on one of your trucks. I'm not sure that I will use U-haul on my next move, one of my co-workers has had pretty good luck with Penske trucks. I do think I should be refunded a portion of the cost for this move.STEVE Y.

This guy was very nice and helpful, and he couldn't fix my wiring though since the people messed it up when I left. He said he didn't know if it was from me or them, and it could've been a bulb. I knew it wasn't, so I went to my car dealership and explained to them how U-haul was so terrible and how they wired my SUV wrong, and they fixed it for me for free without question.
