No trailer jack on trailer. Had to pay to take trailer from Abby to Vancouver Island as none available there. No help from employee to hook it up, had to sweep dirt out. Brought back to uhaul storage in Abbotsford where we have storage locker, nope have to take it back to where you got it. Not very impressed.Gregory P.

The whole transaction is done via phone and text. It would be good to know this ahead of time. If you are comfortable with that format, the process works. But it could be very difficult if you mess up on the communication via phone and text.DAVID B.

The lady had no idea?? Call Sam? Who is Sam? Just call Sam?? Called Sam, had to go through process to dispatch trailer, take pictures and send to him. Who has time for this? Hooked up trailer, no electrical cord. Called Sam, no answer, disconnected, went inside and said no cord so we aren't taking the trailer, she said call Sam and oh here's a cord!!! Should have given to us when we checked in. Never again would I use this place. Pot holes the size of craters full of water in yard to pick up the trailer.DAVID F.

Absolutely terrible service. My truck was parked behind another truck and trailer, and the owner refused to move the trailer. I eventually got another truck, which made him angry with me for some reason. The truck was also dirty inside. Wasted 90 min of my time. Do not use this place.JOSHUA G.

Shut this location down. The truck I had been reserved was not available because of how it was parked so the lady told me to take a different one. Then she had to call Uhaul to inform them and meanwhile I am waiting as people are on their way to help us move. After 45 mins of back and forth, I have to give them my credit card info again which I didn't have with me and finally got the truck. I started driving away and stopped to let the lady know my Van was parked out front and she informed me I couldn't park it there and had to move it. I was frustrated by all the previous incompetence so I asked that she please inform customers ahead of time where she would like them to Park. She snapped that it was our responsibility to ask. Terrible attitude. Horrible customer service. At one point during the interaction the lady just ignored me and stood at the back of the store talking with another employee. Her attitude was borderline rude, unapologetic, and inattentive. It was not my fault they parked the Truck the wrong way, or that their computer was down. But I was made to feel it was. Very poor service and I won't be using your services anymore.Adam L.

After using a car hauler for 6 hours out of the 24 hour period I was charged for 2 day rental. The customer service was a joke. They saw the error and couldn't make the correction. I sat on the phone for almost one hour...very incompetent. They have a monopoly on the rental market and it's very sad that they do as they please. I give them 0 out of 5 stars.Luis D.
I booked online to save time, and it still took forever because the person who needed to check me out wasn't there. He phoned with a poor connection and asked his questions to check me out, after we waited for about 10 minutes. There has to be a better system than this.James L.

I had confirmation number for a Sunday pick up Apparently they are not open just happened to catch the person there or I would not of had a truck. You have a very bad communication problem and I would not recommend u haul to people. This could have turned into a disaster if I had been able to get the truck.jason G.
Absolutetly horrid customer service. Waited 2 hours to get my trailer when I booked a "reservation". Then on top of that they had it in the worst spot possible basically blocked in so it was extremely hard to get the trailer out but, I managed. Then when I returned the woman who seemed to own the store told me to take the trailer to same spot which there is no space still. She proceeded to make me wait while she phoned uhaul customer service or something. I waited 30 minutes until I said look im dropping the trailer off in an area that is out of the way. She refused and put up a huge stink I did it anyways she freaked out. Horrid customer service absolute shit as per usual uhaul is always horrid to deal with I only do because it's cheap. Would I recommend this company absolutetly not. Would I recommend this location NO it should be shut down. I have been running my buisness for a while now and I have way more sense and how to run a buisness get your act together..brandyn L.

The truck had cigarette ash in the cup holders, my blankets were just thrown down on the pavement accross the street from where the truck was parked and not even in a bag. When I enteted the store to pick up the truck the owner called someone in "traffic" who told me the gas in the truck was near empty, but that returning it with 1/4 tank would get me a discount of 47 dollars. When I returned the truck I was told by the person working at the u-haul store that this was a lie. Similarly, I described when booking how far I was going and chose to return the truck to a different location 2 hours away to get another discount! When I got there I was told I was a day late (according to my order confirmation I was a day EARLY!) and that I had gone over my allotted mileage (not possible since I took only the shortest and most direct routes to get the truck unloaded and back to u-haul). IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO GIVE DISCOUNTS THEN DONT HAVE PEOPLE IN TRAFFIC PROMISING DISCOUNTS!!! Why should I return a truck with more gas than when I recieved it, and not be compensated? This needs to be fixed, its dishonest!DANIEL W.

First off have someone that can speak English a whole lot better, and understands what you were telling them, I am so disappointed in my experience and it has cost me a lot of extra money that I cant afford as a pensioner! I was passed around from person to person on the telephone to so many people and they still ended up charging me for a trailer they didn't have, fortunately I had a friend who had a motorcycle trailer and he loaned it to me to get to Prince George from Mission BC. Having said that I have no way now of getting this trailer back to my friend in Mission and I feel with all of the troubles and problems that this outfit has caused me ,the least they can do, is give me a truck to get this fellows trailer back to him, as it was U-Haulâ€˜s fault that I had to borrow it in the first place. I also noticed on my bill that whoever owned the Bradner store had charged me for the trailer on my credit card which I still have not been reimbursed for or told that I would. No one has called me back and no one has tried to contact me to try and help me out with my situation or any renumeration for all my problems. It would be nice contact me by phone instead of just leaving me hanging not knowing what's going on.Richard S.

Please don't change numbers and km around after people confirmed what they needed and you made the agreement. Also your truck leaked and and two brand new weighted blankets soaked and damaged and discoloured ! And can't be washed as stated on amazon where purchased! Also charging me for a day extra when I was give 3 and brought back in two! I'm sorry U haul you definitely were disappointing and I'm still trying to deal with you ! Your units are not being maintained at this location. They are left outside on a gravel lot and all the hitches are rusted. The trailer I HAD to rent had a rusted hitch, no working break lights and the brakes FAILED while we were crossing the Portman Bridge in Vancouver- highway patrol and a tow truck had to be called.FARON C.

Lady wasn't aware of my reservation. Left me to talk to customers while she ran out to see what she had, came back said she didn't have it. I went out and found it instantly. Talked to a manager with uhaul to get it sorted. The trailer adaptor for lights was broken so had to get one from Chilliwack.... which was another list of issues. The pick up was a frustrating experience. Having to drive 45 minutes to pick up the truck to find out the trailer we had booked had been stolen and we would have to drive another 30-45 minutes to another location to pick the trailer and dolly up. No paper work was given and communication was over the phone from a random number. Communication was very poor.Kristy P.

Was not impressed with the location or the entire service today. Nobody helped me out with hookup. Nobody inspected the equipment before I left at all. I was told to drop off equipment at a different location and then had to drive way out of my way to return the equipment. My experience with U-Haul was the worst ever. Put up some signage. When the GPS told me to turn into the Bradner General store I was pretty sure I was lost and had the wrong address. You have to turn down an alley and go behind the store to even see that there are U-Haul trucks parked there. And then there's no indication whatsoever that you're supposed to go into the general store in order to get the truck. I found that whole thing very confusingRhonda P.
Get the pot holes filled at this location and not change the place of drop off when you get to the location on your invoice. We should have been informed before hand that there was no room at the drop off location and having to drive to a different location.Shelley C.
As there was no drop off location on the contract I assumed I could drop off wherever. I ended up going to 3 locations, finally leaving it at the 3rd place. I had to drive an extra hour and a half or more to finally return it. A most frustrating and time wasting effort. Thankfully the gas and mileage used to deliver the truck were forgiven because I added another bunch of km trying to figure out where the truck belongs. Staff were helpful as they could be, though it would have been nice if we had been directed to the correct location in the first place. Oh, the brakes were a bit spongy, could use a check. The truck leaked in the moving compartment area and a bunch of our boxes got wet, the suspension clunks and Is old and deteriorating And is in need of repair. The interior of the moving compartment was full of dog hair and got over all of our stuff. The cab of the truck was disgusting and had in dog hair in it as well. I find this disturbing considering we are in the middle of a pandemic and cleanliness is of the upmost importance. The location where there vehicles are parted is riddled with nails and other debris.Natalie L.

In spite of making the reservation online and using online checkin, i was still forced to provide the credit card and wait for about 15 minutes while the guy clicked through endless screens and entered information. It wasn't like this the last time I rented. That time, it was a 30 second process - check the ID, sign the online screen, and that was it. Also, the parking lot has potholes big enough to swallow the 6x12 trailer! A load of gravel wouldn't go amiss.Alan S.

very disorangized and unprofessional. this corner store does not quality to be one of the uhual dealers. the owner of the store does know how to take rental orders. it took them more than hour an hour to check me in. I confirmed with the owner and the uhual employee that I could return the trailer by 7pm when the store closes. I went there at 610pm and the door was already closed. the gate was wide open and I just left the trailer there.chuhui S.
They did not have access to debit, so I had to pay to use the ATM machine for cash to pay the full cost upfront. This takes longer, especially when there are other people waiting in the lineup, physical distancing because of the coronavirus. Also believe he charged me double for the insurance, as other locations only charge $15 for insurance. He charged $30. Recommendation with limitations to my friends.Donela H.

The people running the store are disorganized and nothing was ready for my 11am pick up. Had to go get him to move the other equipment so I could get out. The inside of the truck was dirty and I had to wipe clean, especially with this virus going around. I would never go to that location again. The person I talked to on the phone was very efficient and pleasant to talk to, and had me out of there quickly. I am a return customer with uhaul and do not hold them at fault for their equipment, but you really should question WHO you have representing your company?Terri V.

First truck had a huge brake problem, the truck would torque hard to the side when braking and was hard to drive; Although the service was very nice when i returned the truck, my mileage was not charged and another, in good condition Uhaul was ready for me to pick up upon my return. The service was quick and easy. Although the second truck, both my signals on the front fell off during my drive at some point (which is understandable as they are used by many people and i am not sure of the condition of the signal mounts prior to my pick up.) It was a very easy to set up and friendly exchange. The tech was understandable and no hiccups happened in the entirety of my travel with the second truck. PS: - i have nothing bad to say about this service or of the tech and vehicles. the first truck was likely damaged and the previous driver probably did not inform the tech about the problems. I would recommend this location to anyone in the area as the service was professional and hassle free aside from the first truck (which was obviously not a common problem as these trucks seem to be maintained overall.)Andrew B.
The first rental I got was a nightmare but they remedied it for me immediately and the customer service was amazing to get the situation sorted out extremely fast with a new unit I will definitely use U-Haul and this location again much appreciatesam W.
Photograph your fuel gauge at both ends! I drove 74 miles and put in $47 of fuel here. The receiver confirmed the amount was sufficient,by getting in and checking. I was billed an additional $26 worth of fuel after I left. $73 in fuel for 74 miles. I emailed Uhaul the same date I returned the truck, using the email address indicated on my receipt email and never heard back.Barry P.

I was told that the trailer I reserved over the phone was at the Mt Lehman location. They said they had 2 but for other customers that hadn't picked them up yet. They said there was one at the Bradner General store location. The gentleman there made me type my personal information into the computer myself. He was very unorganized and unprofessional. I then needed to back into the store to get a wiring extension so I could plug it into my vehicle. I never have a smooth experience renting anything from Uhaul!Terry E.

The agent struggled with the computer, spent 20 min on the phone with uhaul. I had pre booked and checked in on the web, still took half an hour at pickup. The web site is more than painful to make a booking and has too many pre selected â€œoptionsâ€steve G.
