Great experience except....... I did not know the van did not have a full tank of gas to begin with. When I returned the van, the employee had me put gas in it. I fed it nearly 5 gallons when I used about 2 gallons, Once I was finished, the employee completed the charges and seemed to know that the van started with less than a full tank of gas.....? Anyway, 3 extra gallons of gas = approx $15 is kind of frustrating.Diane G.

Try your best to eliminate any headache leading up to the customer getting the truck. I was so stressed having to rearrange movers and the move in time at my complex because I scheduled a pick up time online and the truck wasn't going to be ready at that time. I wasn't notified until the day before. Peter at Tustin Uhaul was able to make it work with another truck at the last hour, but I was supposed to pick up a truck 20 minutes closer to where I lived when I booked it online. I wish I could say t it was a seamless experience, but it wasn't. For two hours the day before, I was on the phone trying to figure out how I was going to manage already scheduled movers that were paid hourly through Uhaul's third party option and had other jobs and a scheduled move in time 2 hours away, to accommodate Uhaul's hour delay. After trying to make it work and rescheduling, Uhaul then came back and said they could make it work. It was a lot of Tetris and I'm grateful for all the efforts made on Uhaul's part, but then I had to go back to the apartment complex and two different sets of movers and say, just kidding, we are back to the original time. It was super stressful and a big time suck.Courtney N.

Change order to a bigger truck on-site but the changed order did not carry over the packing materials (boxes, etc) to the new order. My grandson picked up truck and was told there was not any boxes on order. grandson did not have any money to buy boxes for his move.Stroud H.

Truck was old, in disrepair, rode like a bucking bronco, had a mis-operating left mirror...AND WOULDN'T START AFTER I HAD UNLOADED MY CARGO. Not only was this truck over 170000 miles, but it was beat to shit. I'll be calling soon, and I expect to be completely be reimbursed for this rental, or I will be sending a bill for the amount of extra time I had to pay for pulling myself, as well as 3 of my district sales managers out of market, attempting to tame this filthy beast. How DARE y'all rent me such an old, rickety, truck. I am NOT satisfied.Drew H.

Driver door had problems latching closed, required a really hard slam to fully engage. Van interior was clean enough, only concern is trying to guage how much fuel to put in when returning vehicle. I received a call on the phone the day prior to picking my rental up. On the phone they told me that I was going to be picking the truck up at a different location. When I showed up there they said the truck was at the Valero station where I actually ended up getting it from but I had to drive clear across town. It was very frustrating to say the least.Max V.
No price confirmation until after I'm charged. I put in a quarter tank of gas as told and they ask for more or they'll charge me 11$ A gallon. It's a scam I'm sure they tell everyone they want more. The dude had a shady vibe.. never again. Will go to another rental company next time and so will everyone I know.James T.
I chose this location because they opened earlier, but apparently this location does not provide a furniture dolly or furniture blankets, which I had ordered with my truck. It would have been nice if U-Haul had alerted me to this. This was extra stress added to my moving day. Truck was not clean when I picked it up. Cardboard was left inside as well.Emily H.

Dirty truck inside out. Has not been clean at all. The AC and Wiper are not working if you restart the engine. The engine oil check light was on when picking up and told by the person "it's ok just need to reset the gasket." Also, they don't bother mentioning where you need to return the turck.WEN Y.
