Neither of the two people who knew how to sign out a truck were on site when we arrived; we had to wait 35 minutes for them to get there. The truck had moving boxes stuffed with paper in the back and the low fuel light was on.

Barbara WeibelerLights not working on the trailer. Had to call the uhaul roadside service to get them repaired before traveling 550 miles to my destination. The roadside service guy said that this should have been checked and repaired at Brinkmans before ever given out. Brinkmans would not help get the lights working. Should get a discount or money back for the hassle and delay.

Anna MayHave more than one person working the uhaul component to if someone has a reservation pickup time, and another person comes in to do a long process of purchasing a brand new trailer with many options, the quick Uhaul rental could be done for the UHaul Customer in a timely fashion while the huge sale can wait 5 minutes

Mark MaurerI did an after hours drop off only to find out after going through all the steps and taking pictures on my phone and finally be told where to go to the lockbox that the store doesn’t do after hour drop offs. I called customer service and was put in a 1 hour wait, was called back and before the call could be connected was hung up on, I had to call back and now I’m waiting again for an hour. This is absolutely terrible service and uhaul should not have this location listed as approved for after hours.

Brian PohlenThe U-Haul portion of Brinkman's is only open M-F. I needed to drop off the trailer on Saturday. Staff were helpful and showed me where to park the trailer. Right away Monday morning I received an email receipt, that the trailer was all checked in, and everything was fine.

Sally Tavermiertried to drop off the truck and location was closed, no signs pointing out where to park so I drove around back and left the truck there and drop off key box has a sign "no after hours drop off service for U Haul returns, please come back during service hours", that is ridiculous and when they send me my receipt I got charged $20.00 for "after hours service fee", I'll never want to deal with the Delano MN location again.
JORGE GONZALEZMy experience was that this location is not a designated drop off for U-haul 'trucks'. I arrived at Brinkman's around 6:00pm and did not expect anyone to be there as it was after hours and my contract WAS for after hours/online drop-off. There was someone there but I was told that I could not be there...that they do not accept U-haul t'rucks' and also that it was after hours and there was no one that could help me. A little unsettling return/drop off experience. I am thankful this person was there as at least I was told to just leave the truck where I pulled in (a very small area - barely able to pull off the road into this spot). I wouldn't have known or not even sure I if I could have dropped it there if this person hadn't been there as construction cones were put across the lot entrance after we left Brinkman's.

Holly DevogtI was told to drop truck off at this location. After 3pm to use the self-guided return online, which was great. However, once I completed this process and went to put key back in return box, there was a note saying they didn't do drop-offs after hours. I put the key in the box anyways as I had already completed the online return. This would have been helpful information prior as I had to drive at least 10 miles each direction to return the truck
Amelia WainThere was no notice of after hours fees being charged. The business was closed on Sunday. I was not informed of this when choosing the destination. The boxes on the building were permanently covered with a laminated card. I had to push the keys under the front door of the business. Why are the boxes and the company listed as a drop off company, if they are not functional?
loriee fitzptarickFenders were damaged on the trailer. I had to use bungee cords to stop the drivers side fender from flapping around! The trailer functioned great otherwise.

John CarverYour scheduling process is awful. A renter does not know where the pickup point is until 24 hours prior to pick up.
Timothy Farrellwe felt that we were treated rudely. only rented a trailer, but they made us feel like it was a great imposition to stay until 5:30 to pick the trailer up. They close at 6. They didn't give us the blankets, I had to go back to pick them up. Said that they were sitting by the door and my husband should have picked them up. Anyway, won't rent from them again.
Sharine St JeorReally dissatisfied with UHaul in general. Online rented from Rockford (always a truck there). Then they say its Brooklyn Park, then call back on Monday and Rockford. Tuesday get text and voicemail that it's Delano. You cost me maybe $30.00 in extra mileage by changing the locations - TOTAL SCAM. Won't recommend UHaul in general.

Ileana WilliamsIt was a disaster! I read the other bad reviews prior to renting but I thought how hard could it be?! The only guy at the store couldn’t help I and the U-Haul guy was off. We got logged into the online checkin and the system wouldn’t let us check it out. We call customer service and they tell us they reset it and we had to try again but no that did not work. Call back and get escalated to corporate. They wanted to transfer me to another location at my expense and time. Finally they determine how to rent it with validation of the driver by the guy at the store. We finally got on our way 1.5 hours late and no compensation for the inconvenience. Never again.
