The locations and service was acceptable...The people have other jobs and it makes it tougher for them to help you but they were very nice. We went to one location to sign up but had to pick up at a different location..Zack was especially helpful in our initial contact and Christian was very helpful and connected the trailer at the pick-up location.

You can improve by ensuring that the first location where a customer has reserved a truck is actually open when the customer gets there to get his truck. When I got there (10 Garrison Branch Rd., Weaverville, NC), there was a hand-written note on the door stating “Closed for the day. Sorry for the inconvenience.” The U-Haul reservation office was able to direct me a nearby location where a truck was available, but it added time and inconvenience to the move I had to make. Also, my final invoice shows a charge for “SafeMove coverage”. I was never asked about SafeMove coverage and, had I been, I would not have accepted it. How do I now receive an after-the-fact refund for coverage I didn’t request or agree to?

No one was there during my scheduled pick up time, so I had to leave and return 2 hours later when he finally showed up. On my drop off day, he said return the trailer any time. He wasn't there and did not answer his phone. The location was inside an old storage shed. They also didn't have the trailer I ordered online (even though it said it was available online) so I had to get a smaller size for the same price.

The fact that you barely gave me enough mileage to get from my move site to my arrival site charged me $185 for a $39 truck per day plus an additional $40 in mileage as a result . I will either use rider or Penske from now on

I had picked a different location but UHaul called me to tell me I had to go to Brown Town. I had even talked to the owners of my 1st choice and changed the time from 1pm to 2pm. UHaul had said that Brown Town was open to 8pm. At 1:30 we were running late when we get a call from Brown Town. The guy said he was leaving at 2pm and would not stay a minute later. I told him it was very important that we get this truck that day because we were moving my daughter to college and I only had one day off. I begged him to stay until we got there. He repeated that he was closing at 2 so we better get there now. I told him I was informed that he was opened until 8pm, he said we were the only rental and he was leaving at 2pm and not a minute later. It was very stressful and the guy was not willing to make allowances for our issues.

This place was very convenient to my new home but my first thought when I pulled into the driveway at the drop off location is this is sketchy and I didn't think I was at the right place. There was also nobody there when I arrived. I called someone and he arrived a few minutes later. He was very nice and I had no problem with him at all. The place was old and dusty looking. I

The rental business was not open on time and was being conducted out of a shed. There was no place to park or maneuver the rental truck or my personal vehicle. The truck was in terrible shape and dangerous to operate. Not a quality location or truck.

Was moved to three locations to pick up my Uhaul the day of the pick up within an hour. I was on my way to the first pick up was moved to another pick up. The second location's phone was not working so we had to stop by there to talk to them in person to find out about the 3rd pick up location. The 3rd location forgot to include the dolly that I paid for so I need to be reimbursed for that.

This guy was a jerk. Wasn't there during open hours and then charged me 11 for 1/8 tank when it was exactly the right amount. Con artist and rude. His place is on a hill and maybe made the gas look a little lower, but when I called rude and condescending. Bad example for the biz.

WINDSHIELD AND TRUCK WAS DIRTY, TRASH IN THE FLOOR; THE BACK HAD NOT BEEN SWEPT OUT, DIRT ON FLOOR. THEY NEED TO SHOW YOU ABOUT THINGS ON THE TRUCK LIKE OPENING THE BACK OR THE BUTTONS ON THE PANEL, JUST GAVE YOU THE KEYS AND THEY HAD TO LEAVE.

I called several times in the afternoon to confirm I was going to be dropping off a truck. No one answered and I left several messages, but there was no reply. Not very helpful, but at least I was able to leave the truck after hours. The area for parking was very small and tight.

We had our previous truck rental cancel on us literally 5 min before pick up (no inventory??). I called the 1-800 number and they were able to get me a truck very fast and close to us. The location was a little sketchy, but the people were very friendly and helpful. Apparently since our reservation was last minute, they were not aware and was about to leave for that morning.

The truck was not clean. There were spent cigarettes in the ashtray and the stench recirculated while the A/C was running. I had to open the windows.

Attendant was not in store when I arrived, and emerged from a nearby house when I pulled up. Attendant could not remember which trailer had the flat tire, and finally said "I think this one is okay" which was concerning since I was about to take the trailer 150 miles. It was a struggle to get the trailer attached (even though trailer and hitch were both UHAUL), and even afterward it wiggled.

Dolly not available despite reservation. This may have been a U-Haul issue but I can't tell. Reserved blankets were not in the system despite the location having a dozen. The clerk was helpful and sent me out with the blankets (returned in Knoxville) but this seems to indicate a U-Haul systemic issue.

This transaction was contracted as a 3-day usage when I actually only needed a 24 hour usage. Was the 3 day assignment a reqr'd weekend usage period. I did not realize this until later. How much more did this cost me?
