Ask for refueling on top of per mile charges and rental is not justified

Shaunagaye RTruck was filthy dirty and the transmission was slipping and down shifting to lower gears at higher speeds. Keep our fingers crossed to get through the move. Next time will go somewhere you have people maintaining and washing the equipment.
Dean DTalked to Bill the owner the other day. He made sure all of my concerns were addressed. Truck was clean and filled with gas. I’ve been renting from this location the last ten years. I would recommend this store.
Kimberlee WEquipment not available at initial location of my request. When my reservation was switched to this location an add’l fee - safedrive - was added without my knowing. I only noticed until after my rental was complete and I saw my receipt. I specifically declined this fee when submitting my initial rental

BARBARA MI rented a pick up truck. The previous renter used it to make a dump run as the bed was filled with leaves and twigs. The floorboards were also dirty. The attendant offered to clean it for me but I declined since I was in a hurry. I just cleaned it myself. I am grateful that they had a truck for me to rent with just one day’s notice.

ROBERT HMirrors and windows were dirty and I had to clean them myself. Check-in & check-out went very smoothly however.
DAVID LThey over charged me $20 and will not answer the phone or call me back. Taking advantage of people should be a crime.

Victoria CApp didn't work. Business shows closed, yet they were open. Gas was on 1/4 tank (are you kidding me?). No back-up camera on a moving truck, really, this is almost 2025 (add one!). Guy at the counter was helpful but your vehicle, preparation, and attention to detail are Pathetic.
Joshua SWent to pick up the 20ft truck but wasn’t available then the guy said he would only charge me for the 20ft truck, then he changed the original price on the contract so reflect the $10 discount off a higher price than the 26ft truck. Was supposed to be $39.95, but price was $49.95, so was going to be $39.95, but I got the bill it was $49.95, when I asked about it her revised it to say $59.95 reduced to $49.95.
Colton Ki had an appt to pick up a trailer at 9am Sunday Sept 22 at the location at 29901 Santa Margarita Pkwy. No one showed up until 9:40am. Trying to call numerous phone numbers to get a hold of U Haul to find out if this location would open were unsuccessful. It was an extremely disappointing experience, I have been renting from U Haul many times and never got so disappointed.
lou nWe were told to drop off the truck at 7:30am but not told it was before business hours. Arriving onsite we found instructions for the return and were made to download the app to return the truck on time. The location doesn't open until 10am so even when we needed help there was nobody to help us.
Devin BBeware excessive charges from this location for gas refills, even if you brought back your truck at the same level!

Conrad MOnline/App based reservations and National Center reservations are NOT good systems. They were not helpful and made things worse. This location was the only reason I was able to use U hail. Very few people use moving services regular enough to download an app.

Joe BThis location. does not open until 10 AM on a Thursday. I had made a reservation, but the service was still slow in my opinion. When I returned the truck, my final receipt showed an extra $65 charge for gasoline. I estimated I would drive 40 miles and I only drove 32 miles and I put, 7 gallons of gasoline in the truck before I returned it communication was poor other than an email. I expect to be reimbursed the $65 immediately.
Chris AThe location was efficient and effective but could use a remodel. It was not clean and was disorganized. Does not have a good first impression and does not reflect well on U-Haul. The truck windshield and windows were filthy and bug ridden. There was trash on the floor and behind the seats of the cab. The box container was clean and swept.

Chrissy BThe gentleman that helped us arrived late. He was very nice and helpful, but the owner, who wasn't on-site cancelled our reservation at RSM, and was having us go to another, far away location to rent a trailer. This was after our reservation was cancelled at a previous location! The central office cancelled our reservation at the RSM location so we had to wait at least an hour and a half to get the reservation straightened out. We finally got a new reservation at RSM, and were on our way. I must mention that I called to let the U-Haul management know what happened, and they were nice enough to give us a $50.00 refund for all the trouble. That was very nice of them to do that.
Matthew m24/7 rental sucks. Sat there for 45 minutes to get someone to approve me. Never again
Eric MWhen I returned my vehicle, the person at the desk (Anthony Valdez) told me to just drop off the key (without inspection). I insisted he inspect the vehicle and after a short exterior review he gave me a "verbal approval" that all was in order and said he would email the receipt, he did not inspect the mileage or gas level. The next day (today 7/02/24) I finally received the receipt, but it charged me $36.37 for gas which is just wrong. I had returned the vehicle with gas at the same level as when I rented it (as per contract). Overall, zero attention to detail and I'm not happy with the check-in process which cost me an overcharge of$ $36.37.
PAUL MStore opened up 25 minutes late on pickup day, there was also a line of five customers ahead of me from that timing - so it took about 45 minutes to get into the truck. Truck itself was clean, but the Air Conditioning was broken - so it was fun in the summer heat with hot air blowing around. Returned the truck, and apparently missed business hours (Arriving at 2pm on a Monday afternoon.) Completed the mobile check-in and drop off process, which was way too many photographs required for the condition of the vehicle and a multi-stepped process. I wasn't aware (maybe I missed the hours) that they wouldn't be there on site in the middle of normal business hours - but the check-in process wasn't convenient, and would have been much simpler had someone been there to walk around the truck, take the keys, and sign off.
Edward RCheck your dolly to make sure they aren't bent so boxes don't fall over.
Nathaniel SMobile pick up system didn’t work. U-Haul app didn’t work. Costumer service took multiple calls, 1.5 hours, and still didn’t fix anything. Employee who showed up early on Saturday morning was excellent. He deserves a promotion and everybody else from U-Haul should be fired. I will tell everyone I know to never use U-Haul.
TED AWe had an excellent experience renting, again, from this U-Haul location. Working with Hank on the rental was a pleasure. He was professional, friendly, very knowledgeable, and efficiently processed the rental truck and got us on the road quickly. Thank you!

Peggy FRenting a UHaul truck was very efficient. Price was very reasonable, truck was clean and the associate was courteous and professional. I would recommend this location to rent a UHaul vehicle. I have reserved another reservation for a Truck later in the summer.
