The trailer was clean but not well maintained. It was in below average condition (many dents, scrapes), the bumper railings inside the trailer were loose in a few spots. Two clearance lights were inop. As a side note...there are no tie downs inside this trailer! All moving vehicles/trailers should have tie downs. Just saying....

the whole experience was a nightmare. nobody knew what was going on. i got text from uhaul at 4 am that woke me up. I was told to drop off rental at 3 different locations. had to call 3 times to get any kind of answers but still was clueless. online app didnt work for after hours drop off. zero parking at location. i could go on and on... dont even get me started on the trailer rental! another nightmare. not pleased.

You could take some time with the customer. 1. Do a walk around the vehicle when requested. 2.Do not expect the person to be competent with a smart phone, 3.Treat the customer with respect. 4. Do not make your customer parking a block away and unsecured.

An inexplicable computer error put us 45 minutes behind from when we were supposed to rent the truck, thus putting us so far behind schedule that it ruined our plans for the rest of the day. Furthermore, there wasn't adequate space to load my car onto the tow, which caused a huge headache and even more time to be lost. Would never use U-Haul again!

The pick up location was closed when I came to drop off my rental. The website wouldn't work to turn it in. I had to call 5 times, was hung up on by 2 people, actually got sent to a deadend voicemail selection 2 times and was on hold over 15 minutes just so someone could manually accept the return. I ended up just dropping the keys into the drop box and leaving. I have no complaints with the equipment or cost, but the customer service was horrible. I will go back to Penske next time.

We were disappointed that we had to unload the car from the carrier ourselves. Unhooking the chains and straps were not easy for me related to back problem.

The agent was friendly and the office clean and neat, but the truck had a faulty battery and one of the rear tires was bald with little to no tread.The agent did not check the condition of the truck with me. I had to call roadside assistance twice to jump the battery so the truck would start. So annoying and time consuming not to mention the stress of delays. Also didn't notice the tire until late in the travel so am really lucky it didn't give away and I didn't hit a rock or something to cause the tire to shred with a fully loaded 20 foot truck. Roadside assistance responded as quickly as possible and the agent at Budet Rent a Space was helpful in directing me to the number to contact them. I will require the agent to walk around the truck with me and really checking tires and everything else I can if I rent U-Haul again.

The checkin process with Uhaul is a problem and full of duplication. It does not have anything to do with the location, but rather Uhaul corporate. I provided all of the information online when placing the order: street address, drop off location, selected optional insurance...yet when I get in to pickup the truck, it has to be done all over again.

I was told to return with the truck after the keys were handed to me or she would "report it stolen". All because she didn't finish her side of the job. Thanks for giving me a panic attack, U-Haul lady. On moving day. Super cool.

The location and the staff there was great. However, my overall experience with uhaul was less than satisfying. I reserved a truck a month in advance. I spoke with a person at the mcminnville location because I needed for more than 24 hours. I was told everything was set to go. When I called to change my pick up time, 2 days before pick up I was told I only had the truck for 24 hours. During the course of being redirected to several different departments and playing phone tag, that truck was rented out from under me so I ended up having to drive 2 hours round trip to get a different one. I agreed to this because I was assured I could return it in the town I originally wanted to rent in. After picking up the truck I received a call stating I would actually need to return that truck to a Salem location. This would require an extra hour and a half drive time out of my schedule in the midst of moving. The reason I was given was that there was no room for it at the mcminnville location. I can only assume the reason for that was because the truck that should have been mine would be parked there because it had been rented out from under me due to you ridiculous errors across the board. Thankfully I got ahold of some people who were great at customer service and where able to switch back my drop off to the mcminnville location. I am in awe of the lack of regard for people’s personal time in an already stressful busy time. Hopefully I won’t be moving again any time soon but I won’t hesitate to let others know what a joke this entire process was.

Called to drop off the trailer after hours and was told I could do so I just needed to do the online check in. When I arrived at the location after parking the trailer in the only spot in the tiny lot which took forever due to no maneuvering room, I then called again to get assistance with the online check in and was told that I could not drop it off after hours after all, then had to return home and adjust all my plans the next day with the movers coming in order to return the trailer. Was not pleased with the lack of knowledge of the first person I called and gave me bad information.
