The on-site team was excellent. There was apparently a mix-up in reservations but they fixed that quickly. They got me on my way very fast. I really appreciated how they stretched to get it done and get me going and I would go back to them tomorrw.... but... My problem was that there were NO furniture pads available. None. That's a catastrophe for moving. We depend on those things to make the difference between a good move and a.... " with all the gouges and marks I got, I'm never going back to Uhaul again..." feeling. Do you get my drift. I've done a dozen major moves with Uhaul and NEVER been left high and dry like that.Jerold B.

After the first Uhaul location gave my truck to another customer, they placed a reservation to this location. The representative made it clesr I was interrupting their lunch and tacked on additional estimated miles than what I had originally stated. I know Im refunded the difference but it's clear they wanted to try to add an extra charge because I showed up at noon from my original appointment at another locationArnaud H.

When I got there, the lights didn't work due to damaged cables. The staff tried to fix it, and it worked temporarily, but then I found out that night I had no lights again. There was no help hooking it up, and it had a weird rigged ground wire for the lights.John B.

Don't tell customers they can pick up a car hauler an hour before they open and can check them out on the app, than call an hour later and rudely say to come you have to come back immediately because it's not checked out. I wouldn't have minded driving an hour back if they showed a little customer courtesy but all I got was rudeness and the girl just blamed everyone else but herselfJacob H.

found a syringe in the back on the uhaul also cab was dirty candy all over floor and dashboard. the got charged an extra 70 dollars because i went over in miles. i was never asked how mnay miles i was going to do in the first place.Nathan O.

U-Haul needs better communication with their outlets. My rental broke down & had to be towed to my house totally loaded. Then the ramp quit working & my daughter fell off the truck trying to hand furniture down. Auto outlet was going to call sheriff & report U-Haul stolen & have me arrested. I will never deal with that outlet again. If I hadn't paid cash I would of cancelled the payment. Worst day everDana T.

My equipment that I paid for was not in my U-Haul and the U-Haul looked like it had never been cleaned.Alex B.
Dealership was great, everything after that was terrible. Truck was dirty, not maintained, truck died on me several times. Had to wait for over 2 hours for a service tech. Truck kept failing to start and I requested a tow but my request was not granted and I had to drive it while breaking down over an hour.Jake P.
I do prefer person to person interaction when spending my money. I ended up waiting on a location to open that never did, I had to do the job of a live person and then got a quote(customer service on the phone) I obviously didn't understand. The worst experience I've had in the over 30 years dealing with Uhaul. I am not pleased. Be sure you understand what you are paying for people. Don't be in a rush!Tanya B.
I tried to find where to return the truck after hours on the website. Could not find it. We returned it at 9:30 pm on the 19th of sept. My text read to complete the return to avoid a $20 convenience fee for them to do it. Can't complete something I cannot find!Georgia B.

The cab of truck had dried mud on passenger side. It was really nice that that person did call and check on the truck when we did not return it on the day was scheduled to come back. The truck said it ride like a van. That was a lie it bounced the shit out of you.TROY T.

U-haul put my life in danger. They issued me a truck for a cross country move that had no functioning instrument panel lights. I didn't discover this until the evening of the first day of driving. Facility staff said that the trucks are designed to turn off the instrument panel lights as soon as you turn on the headlights. This, of course, makes no logical sense. They offered no corrective action whatsoever.Patrick M.

I would like my money back. The inside of the trailer was muddy and sand on the floor. The outside was filthy and the the tail lights were covered with muddy sand mix.Brent S.
I have a factory Class V trailer hitch. The trailer safety chains would not fit in the hitch the way required by uhaul . I feel that since this hitch was rated for way more that the trailer required it should of worked. Had to go to a store and purchase some clevis's to make it work. Need to rework the hooks on the safety chains.David P.
