Originally scheduled to pick up on Apple Valley, but changed to Burnsville. Went to pick it up at Goodyear, but told it was across the street at BP gas station in a lockbox. Windows were very, very dirty and hard to see. Then I noticed the drop off was at Apple Valley after we arrived in Wilmar. Called the Goodyear store and they didn’t seem to know anything. I was very, very disappointed with the service of u-haul. A person who is moving is very distressed while moving and I didn’t need this kind of service. I have used u-haul in the past and had great service. I do not have any problem with u-haul in Apple Valley , but the rest was terrible. It delayed my moving time and helpers who took their time to help me. After several calls, I finally got the drop off location in Willmar, which I was moving to. This was supposed to happen a one way reservation.
ROGER KWould be nice if the lockbox location was not all the way across the street (at gas station) from the actual trucks. At least put a sign up letting people know where to go. Your gps did not accept my location even though I was in the parking lot next to the trucks which caused a me to be late for my appt and I was sitting on hold for over 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get the truck.
ROBERT BThe lockbox was a little difficult to open, seemed stuck, with force we got it open. Maybe just a little lubricant would help.

SKYLLAR RLocation and staff were respectful and nice, however it’s the process of getting the keys that was a horrible experience.
Steven SDrivers doo had bad air leak - Cold air freely coming in in the middle of winter. In spite of the normal person not being there, this location did a great job in getting the paperwork done and getting me in the way. I was pleasantly surprised that the truck at an ice scraper in it. And not so pleasantly surprised when I turned the truck in with the same amount of fuel it had when I picked it up and was told it had to have a quarter tank minimum.
Jadon EThe accessories I reserved were not available at my pick up location.. I was sent to another location where the accessories were only available to purchase. I purchased a dolly. Truck had graffiti painted on the side and a frozen can of Red Bull about to explode in the cabin, floor’s also muddy.
Richard DIt was confusing to find the truck and pick up the keys as they were across the road from each other. Ended up driving in circles for awhile
Mackenzie LMy truck smelled like smoke, which was super uncomfortable to drive. I also booked at - local location and had to drive 15 miles away to pickup and drop off, I also had to pay uhaul for these miles. This automatically added $30. To my bill. I ordered blankets to my purchase, these were not provided.

Benjamin Wuhaul app said equipment was available. but when i got there for the office free pick up, it sent me in anyways. and the counter guy said he had to make sure he had the equipment. i would've been really upset if he didn't give me a truck

Jennifer AI was overcharged $52 on my bill. The employee at the location could not fix the problem and said I would have to call U-Haul. I called and received my refund, however, it took 20 minutes of my time to get my money back.
Rory BI ordered an appliance dolly. When got truck no dolly. Location associate was great trying to track down but 30 minutes later no available appliance dolly. Yet charged for it and not sure got my time back. Almost an hour to get going by the time all was done. Frustrating

Ernest BAnthony was very friendly and professional. Both my pickup and drop off were quick, thorough and easy. I'll be using this location anytime I need to rent from Uhaul.
Tom RI reserved a 20 feet truck just to receive a message next morning letting me know that it will not be available next morning. I had to scramble to find a 26 feet monster that I did not need. Nothing mentioned about the $50.00 refund if the vehicle reserved is not available. Overall, not the best experience. The person at the counter was extremely nice, by the way.
Ricardo FI did not receive the hand truck that I paid rent for and did not think of it until I got to my place to load. Also, the drivers door latch does not work right and it is almost impossible to shut the drivers door tightly when inside the vehicle.

Ryan WI initially rented from one location 2 miles away, but was not aware they didn't have 15' trucks on-site. Without looking up my reservation, I was sent 1.5 miles down the road to a U-Haul site with trucks, but when they looked up my reservation, I was told that it was for the Barnesville Auto location. They called and verified my reservation and told the manager I was on my way. 1. Hard to locate - no real marking to indicate it was a U-Haul place 2. Arrived and the truck was still buried under 18" of snow and ice. Padlock was frozen and truck only had a 1/4 tank of gas in it. 3. Manager had warning I was coming but didn't even try to prep the truck until I asked him too. When my wife said we were going to cancel, he asked us not to and he would extend our rental time (which we didn't need). 4. By the time I finally got the truck ready to roll, we were 1 hour past our pick up time and late for meeting our daughter to help move. No apologies for not having it ready or anything from the manager. 5. Dropped it off early and waited 2-3 minutes as the manager showed an employee how to check me out in the system. I finally asked if I needed to sign something and was told everything was done and I could go. I asked if I would by emailed to me and was curtly told yes - as if I was bothering him for still being there. I have rented a lot of things in my life, but I have never been treated with such disrespect and I will NEVER use 2 of the 3 U-Haul locations I had to deal with again.

JON MDidn’t have the equipment I reserved. Picked up the Uhaul and the fuel tank was empty. Left mirror moves while driving couldn’t see anything.
Matthew SOnly thing was it was hard to find! Service was great, equipment was great! I’m just bad at directions and this office is kind of ticked away and hard to know where it is if you haven’t been before
Michael BFirst of all: Local Site Coordinators were very positive, and helpful people. That said, it shouldn't take 45 minutes to checkout a vehicle. 1) U-Haul Corporate: a) Please train and re-train your site coordinators on proper and efficient usage of your check-out website. b) Please provide a progress indicator or some kind of feedback that the "next" button has been clicked on, so your site coordinators don't repeatedly click "next" again (UX 101). 2) Provide locks for the key lockboxes that are easy to open once the correct combination has been entered.
Bryan SPerson helping at check-in was incompetent and did not know how to use the system. It took 45 minutes and numerous phone calls to get checked in. Check-out went smooth with a different individual helping me.
ryan jThey shouldn’t even be a distributor. Didn’t know how to login or where the Keys even were. They wasted 45 min OF MY RENTAL TIME, trying to find the keys. Poor service.
