valarie mMight want to verify that keys are left in lock box by previous customer. An onsite camera within lock box would help. Worst rental experience ever. No keys, no truck resulting in many trips back and forth in car. Beware.....Will never rent at a location where there is no one on site ever again.... More like will never rent from uhaul again

Tyler SThe place was very unprofessional. The truck had a strong odor of gas. I drove it a total o 3.96 miles because I felt it wasn’t safe and that was my house and back. Also the gas spell was so strong in the back of the Truck I didn’t want to put my clothes and furniture in it. I feel as though they care less about customer service. Also charged me 5 gallons of gas for 3.96 miles and it was on the same reading as when I picked it up. Overall very terrible experience. Truck was terrible and I got stuck inside the fence and had to crawl out because there were no instructions for someone to follow me in.
Ann NThe truck I reserved had a check engine light on with the note "engine oil low - stop engine". So I had to wait over 30 minutes to change to a new truck. The rep at Byrds mini storage was frustrated because she had told u-haul numerous times that the truck was not operational.
Bryan SBoth the pickup and dropoff locations had helpful employees. Your customer service between my first reservation and the pickup up date was horrendous. My reservation was changed multiple times. Each time, the location and equipment was changed. Whenever I tried to call to address the equipment change, the automated system was a nightmare to get through. I don't plan to ever use U-haul again.

Robert CMy experience with uhaul has been appalling and completely unacceptable. First off they had me wait almost two hours at the original pick up location on hold for at least an hour until they called me to tell me a vehicle wasn’t even available and sent me to a new location. And then this new location was locked off and we had to wait for a worker to come after hours and let us in. Then the vehicle was utterly disgusting covered in layers of dirt and I was hours off schedule. Uhaul had me believing for the better part of my wait that I wouldve been sleeping on the floor because they weren’t contacting me.

tom aThe best part of the experience was the customer service. Everything that could go wrong, did, but Cherri (or Sherry) really helped us out and was great! She's great at what she does. I'd say what could be improved is Uhaul and the store hours. I was allowed to reserve a van at 8 am when the store doesn't actually open until 9. That isn't listed anywhere on the website. One more thing...please let the front desk staff type the information in the computer. It's really a time waster to have to type it into a phone. Using technology for technologies sake isn't useful when it doesn't increase efficiency.

Karen RI was charged for the Safe Mover insurance and I did not request it. When I asked to have it removed, I was given a high pressure sale.
Noah SThere was nothing wrong with the location. The lady was very nice and helpful. My issue is with the company itself. The day before, transportation contacted me to change my pickup location, way out of my way, added miles to my trip plus extra gas to pickup. The guy never showed up to open so I could get the truck, had to get a fill in district manager who sent me back to the original location, more personal gas and time spent. Put in a complaint and still have yet to hear back from them for any resolution. Will never use them again.

Casey AI reserved the truck over the internet. The day before the rental I got an email saying that my pickup location had been changed from the spot near my house to one 15 miles away. When I was prompted through an email to check in early, when I followed the link it launched the app which said I had no reservations. I picked up the truck in person but had to use the app to upload my drivers license. This took several attempts before it worked and resulted in about 20 minutes of wasted time. When I returned the truck after hours, the directions were to use the app. Even though I had used the app for the driver license, when I tried to return the truck the app said I had no rentals. I tried and tried. I called the 800 number and waited in the heat by the highway for 30 minutes but never was able to speak to anyone. Eventually I left a voice mail with the office and threw the key in the drop box. I wasted so much time needlessly. Your systems need to be integrated.
Stephen PI was unable to return the truck after hours through the app. When I clicked the link in the email it took me to the app. The app said I had no active contract. I called the phone number listed in the contract and was on hold for 30 minutes before giving up in disgust. There was no way to process the return and no one to talk to since the location was closed. The person at the location was very helpful when I picked up the truck. Finally I left a voice mail at Byrds Storage and dropped the key in the box. You really need to integrate your app with your website and with the physical locations.

Casey ALocation was great. U-Hauls concern needs to be with the service form their 800 number in trying to confirm a pickup location. If you are going to have reps on the 800 line changing pick up location and such, it would be a good practice to actually notify the customer. Also, your account create/log-in needs attention. Created account and then logged in immediately thereafter. Would not accept info. Tried later, same deal. A recommendation....people like to communicate with PEOPLE.

Bruce EI am very unhappy with my experience I had with uhaul. Someone called me on Friday afternoon Feb 2 to tell me there would not be a truck at my desired pick up location. No one tried to arrange for a truck to be there for me. Instead I had to go out of my way to a new location. Which delayed the whole moving progress. People having to wait for me so we could begin moving. When I got to the new location Byrds storage she tried calling uhaul customer service and was treated very rudely. I am very disappointed with my experience and with uhaul customer service. The location of pick up was good other than dealing with uhaul customer service and delaying the moving time.

THOMAS NMy experience with uHaul was HORRIBLE!!! But it had absolutely NOTHING to do with this location. My problem was with uHaul itself. This location was great and was extremely helpful. On the other hand, uHaul itself was such a disappointment. My truck got moved and I was not notified. I ended having to drive to another town to pick up the truck I had rented. I wasted valuable time when I had to go to the other location. The original representative I spoke with at uHaul customer service was EXTREMELY rude and not helpful at all. The supervisor I next spoke with was helpful and did tell me I would get a refund, but imagine my surprise when my bill was emailed and I did not get this refund. I have another truck reserved for next week and a moving crew hired. I am now VERY concerned about this reservation.

It's a good thing she cared enough to go above and beyond, or UHaul would be out some expensive equipment that was left in the truck we got from Clermont. I wish u had every location manned by someone of her caliber.
Charles KThe nite before, I call to get the address and was given 6226. Which was wrong . I attempted to back down a steep private drive into heavy traffic and nearly caused several accidents. I was informed, when I arrived, that their were several locations much closer to my home, than the one I was sent to.
Richard BI wanted a 4x8 enclosed trailer and believe that is what I asked for in a phone call reservation to U-Haul. I was told that $81 would be charged to my credit card which is the amount I expected for a 4x8. I also asked if it would be a problem if I picked the trailer up around 2PM on Friday afternoon since I was on that side of town, instead of having to drive 30 miles round trip to pick it up Saturday morning. The phone reservation lady said no problem, and didn't mention that it would mean that I had to return the trailer by 2PM on Monday. The lady was very pleasant and we had friendly conversation but didn't tell me anything about the trailer or return time. I didn't know I had a 5x8 until I was backing it up to my cabin door to load it Saturday afternoon and saw 5x8 on the trailer in my rear view mirror.

LEONARD LThis location was closed at the time of drop off but the truck was dropped off in a secure area made available by the staff here! The directions for key and contract drop boxes were well marked and the facility was clean and inviting.
MARK CTrailer had a lot of dents and paint missing. The attendant had to mark a lot so that I wouldn't be charged for this exsisting damages. I field out the info for a fast pick up and go but everything on the pre move rform had to be repeated while I was picking the trailer up. If this is always going to happen, why even bother during on line reservations.

John PThe truck was clean and seemed to be well maintained. Until I had to drive it at night, that's when I realized the headlights were bad. Not a good time to find that out. Other than that the truck and service was great.
