I booked it to the afternoon on the Saturday and than the time was changed on your end to be back for noon on the Saturday and then when I picked it up I was told to have it back by 10am so it shortened the time i could have it but was still expensive to pay.

Frankie AReserving the truck ahead of time was easy but when I picked it up, the service person would not allow me to read the actual contract before I paid. I had to pay first before she printed it off and I could actually see it. She told me no one had ever asked for that before and she didn't know how to do it anyway. But at this point I had no choice as I had reserved the truck so I could move; it was far too late for me to go somewhere else. I have never had to pay for something first without seeing the contract.

Kristine CThe size of the vehicle was perfect. Mechanically the vehicle was great. The back inside had a weird smell (that I associated with urine...but who knows?) and some residue on floor. I didn't like putting my items on it. My brother picked up the vehicle for me, so I didn't have a chance to comment on that in person. The move was quite smooth and things worked out. I would just make sure that the vehicles are clean before sending out. Also the site took my credit card, then they asked for his at Cache 21 and charged his. Now I have to reimburse him. Not sure if my card will also be charged. Causing a little stress. That being said, I appreciate the size of the van and how well it drove. Made the move easy.

LESLIE L1) The seats were fabric instead of leather and full of hair (human/pet) stuck to them. I had to lint roll the seats before I could use it. 2) There was this slight confusion with the estimate. Please have the estimated “Addl. Kilometres” removed from original estimate/sub-total, as this is indicated separately at the bottom.
GANESH MI was told to pick up the truck at the wrong location. It resulted in a significant delay in starting my trip. The truck was left in a extremely dirty condition and the fuel was not filled.
Larry OThe cube truck was perfect and got the job done! My only issue was with the blonde women who worked at the front desk. She was very rude and came across as prejudice with her passive aggressive attitude / micro aggressions. Not friendly to deal with at all. Would never recommend any of my Indigenous family and/or friends to ever go to this location ever. Thank you.
Hailey PThe truck was exceltionally clean, however I'm not sure it would pass a roadside safety inspection. I understand the truck is not new and is used often. The steering was absolutely horrible with extended "play" and the transmission felt like it could fall out of the truck at any time.

Jessica P(1) The agent I dealt with, I regret I cannot recall her name, the younger of the two, reddish hair, was young, friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough, very comforting to deal with. Just plain sweet. The other agent sitting nearby seemed equally great to deal with, so my compliment is not a knock on her in any way. (2) The truck I used has a flaw. I am 6'2", and my knees were really jammed up while sitting at the wheel driving in snow, in the dark. The lights are turned on/off by a round dial that you turn with your hand, located on the panel to the lower left of the steering wheel. THREE times, my left knee caused the lights to go off until I could manually turn them on again. The third and final time, I was on Canada Hwy #1 and came close to hitting the divider. I screamed because I thought I was going to hit it. It is very unnerving, and a very poor location choice. The seat, in general, even pushed back to its furthest point, needs to be able to move back more.

Reza MOn-line, I ordered two furniture dollies, but did not discover until at the location that none were available. THIS WAS A HUGE PROBLEM! It wasted a lot of time and unnecessary hauling of boxes, i.e., one at a time. The website should have noted that these were unavailable before proceeding with the booking. If I had known that ahead of time I would have booked somewhere else.

James OThe muffler rattled, windshield cracked and full of bug guts, tired out of balance, almost didn’t make it up a hill. Was told hours before picking up our truck we had to drive AN HOUR to get it, and then GOT BILLED FOR GOING OVER THE MILEAGE, are you kidding me. So disappointed. Not our fault we had to drive an hour longer due to your negligence of misplacement of the truck we rented months prior.
Jason BDisappointed when I showed up an hour after my original reservation time only to find out it had been canceled. Fortunately a truck was still available and I could get my move done. Recommend you make an attempt to contact the client before canceling. Moving days are stressful enough without this surprise.
chad DThe windows on the 15ft truck were quite grimy inside. Otherwise the vehicle was very good and drove quite well, up and down the Coquihalla Hwy.

Richard FThere was a warning light that the oil needed to be topped up (it was at 3%). Should have been done before we took the van. The most frustrating part, though, was the gas fill-up. It is impossible to accurately gauge how much gas to put into the vehicle after use. It makes much more sense to rent the van with a full tank and fill it up when finished. Trying to guess how much gas to put in inevitably leads to gouging the customer. VERY unhappy about this protocol and will not be renting from UHaul again any time soon.
