Inez MThe operator was focused on running his grocery store. He didn’t the particulars of the insurance. All he cared about was telling me the price. When I returned the unit he offered no help with parking it, unhitching it and expressed no interest if I had any concerns about the rental.

Maureen KThe location is okay except it's a bit far, took me $50 to get there from Airport. Actually I am not quite satisfied with the offer U-Haul gave to me. I wanted a 10' truck, but there's only 15' available. U-Haul gave me 60km extra, but I found the gas cost is much more for a 15' truck. I should've asked more milage compensation.

Sherwin HThe trailer served its purpose well but it is an older trailer and the floor did have a few holes which was photographed by the rep. Not a fan of twisting the super long safety chains to get them to a proper length, not good for the chains. Overall great experience

Steve KThis was in no way the fault of the staff at the final location, but they were not the agreed upon location I had arranged at time of rental agreement! After a gruelling 15 hour drive I went to return the truck to the LOCATION ARRANGED IN THE CONTRACT, I was told I couldn’t return it there! Are you kidding me??? I spent an hour on the phone with customer service who didn’t know what to suggest until they said that another location had wanted the truck returned to their location. So why have a contract agreement if uhaul can dictate where THEY want the truck returned?? Especially when they NEVER contacted me to ASK! So I have to spend extra money on gas to take it to their preferred location to return?? What an absolute DISASTER! I have rented trucks from Uhaul many times, but this will be the last time. You have lost a very loyal customer because of your EXTREME INCOMPETENCE!!!!

kyle dAll went well. The agent was distracted with other duties at the time and the pickup was rather slow. Also, I rented a car dolly. Having a magnetic tail light set included with the rental would be nice. You can't haul a vehicle without them.

Bob CNo issues with this specific location My experience was incredibly frustrating. I booked the U-Haul initially at another location. When I arrived to pick it up the previous renter had not returned the cargo trailer and that there was no trailer available for me. Thankfully I was able to still pick up this trailer that same day though it was an extra 20 km out of my way. I tried to express my disappointment with U-Haul with the customer service and was told there was no compensation or anything that Could be done which is very disappointing.
Tyler LElectronic signature pad was not operable, as was the printer. My father in law wanted a paper copy but was unable to get it. Limited parking even for small trailers, but this all seems to be the norm for U-Haul as of late.

Shannon PTHE DROP OFF LOCATION ALTHOUGH WAS THE CLOSEST TO MY NEW HOME AND WAS MY PREFERENCE TO DROP OFF IS A GROCERY STORE AND THE UHAUL REPRESENTATIVE/OWNER OF THE GROCERY STORE DID NOT WANT TO ACCEPT MY RETURN. THERE WAS A SYSTEM CHANGE THAT ARBITRAIRILY CHANGED MY DROP OFF. THUS TOOK PLACE WHILE WE WERE OUT OF SERVICE ON MY WIFE'S PHONE WHICH WE DID NOT CHECK. BESIDED THIS POINT I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO BE SHUTTLE DRIVING THE UHAUL FLEET AROUND AND OUT OF MY WAY ALMOST AN HOUR. IT WAS RECOMMENDED THAT I DRIVE THIS UNIT TO SPRUCE GROVE, DEVON, LEDUC OR WESTSIDE??? ANYWHERE BUT WHERE I REQUESTED AND CONFIRMD TWICE. THE CALMAR REPRESENTATIVE CALLED ANOTHER PERSON (STUART) ON THE PHONE AND THE INDIVIDUAL (STUART) WHILE ON SPEAKER PRECEEDEDTO CALL ME A PART OF THE MALE BODY I PREFER NOT TO REFERENCE DUE TO THE FACT THAT I HAD SAID THAT MY CHARGE FOR SHUTTLING UHAUL TRUCKS AROUND THE PROVINCE IS EXPENSIVE. MY WAGE AS A MANAGER IS ARPPOX. $100-$150/HOUR. AT THAT POINT THE CALMAR REPRESENTATIVE STATED YELLING OBESCENITIES A ME IN FRONT OF ANOTHER CUSTOMER AND MY RIDE. I LEFT THE KEY AND TOLD THE CLAMAR REPRESENTATIVE THAT I DIDN'T NEED TO TAKE THE VERBAL ABUSE AND PERSONAL ATTACK. I TOLD HIM THAT THIS WAS NOT PERSONAL AND THIS MUST BE A SYSTEM ERROR OR GLITCH. THE TRUCK WAS PAID FOR IN FULL, HAD MORE FUEL THAN WHEN I PICKED IT UP AND IT WAS CLEANED INSIDE, MORE CLEAN ON THE EXTERIOR (DUE TO A RAIN SHOWER) THA NWHEN I PICKED IT UP. ALSO, RETURNED WERE 12 MOVING BLANKETS THAT I HAD RENTED. I HAVE LODGED A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL AND AM CONSIDERING MY OPTIONS AS TO WHAT COURSE TO TAKE NEXT WITH THIS ISSUE. BOTTOM LINE IS THA T LIVED UP TO MY END OF THE BUSINESS TRANSACTION BUT UHAUL AND THE UHAUL LOCAL REPRESENTATIVE DID NOT AND I RECEIVED A PERSONAL ASSAULT AND VERBAL ABUSE THERFORE I NED TO KNOW HOW UHAUL WILL BE HANDLING THIS SITUATION TO BRING RESTITUTION TO ME AND OTHER FUTURE CUSTOMER'S.

Wilson FThe booking was set for pickup Friday, 5pm in Devon, returning Sunday morning. I was then contacted the week of my pickup and told it was wrong and would be for Saturday at 9am in Calmar, returning Sunday. My confirmation email ended up in my junk and I didn't receive the text confirmation. I received a call Friday from the Calmar depot saying that I needed to come get the vehicle on Friday or they would give it to someone else. I did the online check in and paid, then when I got to Calmar, I was told I needed to do it again and pay. I showed them the confirmation and the lady there said I needed to call Uhaul. I spent 20 minutes on hold, then went back into the depot where I spent another 40 minutes while the man that worked there tried to help me get it sorted. At the end, he did assist me with getting the truck keys and logged on and correcting the return address that was in the system and the incorrect charges associated with it; however, I spent over an hour dealing with the issues in the middle of moving and then had to get the truck back by 4pm on Saturday which was extremely difficult. The price was also WAY above what I was quoted at $39.95 per day $192.15 plus another $56 in fuel because we had to rush to return the truck. Nothing was as set up or quoted and it was extremely frustrating and stressful.

Only to tell me they will figure it out when I'm back to waste more of my time. Then try to over charge me by 40 dollars. Will never rent from this place again. What a headache.
David CWhat's the point of going through the whole online process for pickup, entering credit card, uploading licence photos etc if the vendor doesn't have access to the information? I spent double the time to pickup the unit because I had to go through the same process twice. Pointless. Then to use the unit I had to scrape snow and ice off of it before I could move it. The rental process should have the unit ready to go when I get there. Very disappointed.

Brad BU-Haul verification call some one to check and make sure I am who I say I am is rude and a waste of time . You have a driver's license and credit card . This was a big stoping point for me . I have rented twice this year and I will find another way next time because of it.

Doug SVery poor location as it was in a grocery store and the lady had to keep helping customers with their groceries while she was dealing with me. Also the Uhaul POS machine was not working so I had to pay with my debit card on their POS, which was really inconvenient as I was using for company purposes and wanted to use the company credit card.

Shaylene LLocation was good. Equipment was in very rough shape. Electrical cord to the truck I had to fix and use my electrical tape. Rear light was marked by uhaul as broken but not fixed, it fell out and was tangling on the trip again I had to fix or I would have lost the light. This was all after the trailer I reserved in drayton valley was rented out so I had to go out of way to get the damaged one.
John PLanguage barrier and was waiting on site for an hour to get the equipment ready. There was massive confusion between the worker and head office. It worked out in the end but holy moly was it ever a pain! And the equipment was in poor condition. Taped on brake light (functional mind you) and one missing rubber chain tie down thing.
