The back door was broke. The spring wasn't working so we had to have two people just to pull the door all the way up and if we didn't pull it up far enough it would slam back down. I don't think that was acceptable. I paid $97. Also I called two days before to confirm and the guy told me he had no truck for me. That I would have to go elsewhere. Then when I called uhaul the day before I was told they did have a truck for me. It was a very frustrating experience. The truck did not have a full tank of gas, which I thought they were supposed to and then I was to return it with a full tank. I am overall unsatisfied. However the gentlemen that took care of me when I got there to pick up the truck was very friendly and efficient. I appreciated that.Katie C.

The truck would overheat if it idled for even seconds at a time. At one point while waiting for someone else to move their car, the truck overheated and we had to wait 15 min to turn it back on. It was total junk.Brian R.

A major thing to improve on is not allowing your representatives to pocket an extra $200 from the customers. The man at this establishment is crooked, changing contract information, and adding on charges that were not agreed upon. On top of that he was very rude, tossing my card back at me and acting like we were inconveniencing him. Upon picking the truck up we discovered the gas cap was missing, the vehicle had no oil in it and there was no windshield wiper fluid. The driver went and had to buy these items out of pocket. Myself and the driver have been in contact with the Uhaul company and we just contiue to be transferred from one person to another. This was my first and last time using this company since they do not run an honest business.Jonathan B.

The location was great. But I'm very frustrated with Uhaul at the moment. I needed a large trailer, was allowed to rent a large trailer on your website. But that location did not have that trailer on site. The website should not allow me to rent a trailer at that location that is not available at that location. I did get a call telling me that the trailer I needed was not available at that location. But it was a holiday and all if the other locations were closed. Please fix this. I'm a very long time customer and really don't want to use someone else.Becky M.

I had a great experience renting from C&B Farm & Garden Corp. It was my first time. Would definitely rent again and/or recommend a friend. Friendly folks, no nonsense. Very courteous and professional. Location was good too. My only complaint- and a small one, is that the box wasn't well swept out from the last renter. A sticker inside stated there would be a $25 charge for lack of cleaning, so we swept as best we could (without a broom!) to ensure we wouldn't be held responsible. Again, small complaint. Would not prevent me from giving 5 stars and recommending to a friend. Thank you C&B.William F.

The pick- up of my truck was extremely easy with no issues. However, I am extremely disappointed in the uhaul reservation process online. This is flawed and should be examined and then altered/fixed. Here the process I went through: I stopped at malone's garage in oswego to reserve a truck for Sunday August 27th. They were unable to process my request. I decided to try uhaul's online reservation system. They quickly put in my reservation and it came up as malone's garage in oswego (great establishment by the way- none of this was their fault). I called malone's to verify my request; they told me again that they had no trucks available. (Truck coming in after hours on Saturday- not able to prepare truck for a Sunday pick up. Also, the other truck they had "available" according to the uhaul reservation online database, was being sent to a different uhaul rental company). I edited my reservation to a different uhaul location, even though the uhaul online operator insisted that malone's had a truck available and would be ready for pick up. This entire situation occurred again with my next uhaul location. I eventually got an actual uhaul location that was able to process my request and rent me a uhaul. If I had listened to the online uhaul operators, I would not have been able to rent a uhaul truck Sunday, and I would have wasted the time of the 6 people that helped me move into my new house. However, I dont blame the uhaul operators either. They were seeing truck availability online at these establishments, even though there was no actual availability. Most of the uhaul operators were genuinely nice and helpful of my situation, but all of them insisted that the establishments had truck availability. This "easy online process" wasted many hours of my time being the in between person to talk with the uhaul establishments and the uhaul operators. I'm sure I'm not the first person this has happened to. My advice-don't use the online reservation system until it has remedied this problem. Just call go through and contact the different uhaul rental places. It's well worth the 10 minutes!Sandy K.

Could not find the trailer he assigned me so gave me a different trailer. Not a problem except he marked out the original trailer number on my contract and wrote in the new trailer number with pen instead of fixing it in the computer and printing me a new contract.Karalin R.
Well, you see, when I ordered a UHaul it was for pickup at the Mannsville Location. I got a call from UHaul in Syracuse 2 days before my pickup date saying they couldn't do that. Then they said the truck would be available in Watertown NY. Watertown didn't have the truck the day of pickup and I had to go all the way to Oswego to get one myself. The store was unclean and poorly kept, the staff was extremely unprofessional, and the truck had a leak in the roof that was unsuccessfully "repaired" with a few pieces of tape, causing water to leak on my furniture. Additionally, The authorization or "hold" applied to my account did not clear for a full 10 days after the actual charge was processed, causing my account to overdraft. I am not sure if this is the result of poor practices at only this U-Haul location, or it is a company policy. Either way, I have never been more disappointed with a service in my life.jremmey P.
