I pre-ordered online and completed the pre-check in. The attendant still insisted on doing all of this at the store. He argued with us over payment method, phone numbers, and identification. He redid all of our registration which consisted of him taking photos of our id and bank card on his personal phone. The truck tented to us was dirty with mud, had a crack in one mirror, and rock chips in the windows. This was not a great experience for us.

The app was almost totally useless. Could not fill out the profile or even set up a login password. And then after finally be able to put in a password it keeps on seeing that envelop password when you try to login and you try to set up a profile but it will not let you do so completely. Very poor app.

Make sure the vehicle was clean. My wife recognized the horrible smell of chicken manure that was left over from previous customer. The van was so dirty and dented, we were concerned the site might file a claim of damages against us even though I asked multiple times if they were aware of the condition the van was in.

We were told to drop our key in the lock box outside. There was no lockbox. Also, we put 30.00 fuel in the truck which was more than we used and were then charged 4.60 for fuel.

They need to be more vocal about some things and take note of some things. They didn't tell me how much they were gonna charge me, and then the truck cab floor was very dirty. They charged me 56 dollars then an additional 30 dollars the next day even though I have the truck for not even a half a day I only used it for approximately 5 hours almost 100 dollars on the uhaul itself. They over charged me for it cuz someone else I know used a uhaul a week before and only pair 30 dollars only and nothing else. I am probly never going there again. Because paying almost a 100 for using a haul for not even 5 or 6 hours should not have to be $100.

Better education for staff about the online check out process. Vehicle was well maintained but could have used a cleaning prior to my renting it. It was lightly swept out after I used it but could most likely have used a thorough cleaning. Online checkout and return process is a little ambiguous in a few areas, notably the cleaning part, and the number of photos I deemed necessary to protect myself against any false claim of damage. I am a regular U-Haul customer and will continue to use both the in person and online services available.

The van I rented stunk like it was used as a mobile method lab.had to pull over and get out.was having dry heaves rolled down the windows to get to brothers house..we sprayed air freshener and got air fresheners.my bill was given to me 2 hours after I returned it were I rented it.im not new to uhaul and my bill was bs.the add on fees of 8 dollar total was not fair.a safe driving fee ? Are you kidding me after paying 33 for insurance ?3 dollars environmental fee ? This is just past stupid.

The truck that I rented had over 130 thousand miles, it ran terribly. The truck was way past its retirement age, not to mention that the interior had a terrible odor These reasons are why I returned the truck one day only

I was supposed to pick up a van closer to home but was informed at pickup that the previous renter left all of their stuff in it so the van I reserved was not available. After some calling around, the previous location’s employee found one in Marysville and they offered to refund $50 for the inconvenience of having to pickup somewhere else and add miles/time to the trip. John at the 76 helped me with a quick checkout, extended my drop-off time (great suggestion) and gave me the rundown of how to drop off in the afternoon. If I lived closer, I’d use them again for sure!

He said the fast was on 1/2 a tank when I got In the truck it was less then half. I went 2 miles and turned the truck back in i was given attitude. They need to double check the or maybe the guy need glasses. I will not us that location anymore.

I was somehow charged an extra $10 dollars, I'm not sure how the total was $93 when it was advertised as a $40 dollar rental. This location in general was so sketchy and of course I'd get a link to "view damange" but somehow the link has expired. Definitely wasn't worth it

Could not understand the man who waited on us. He charged us $100.00 and did not tell us why. Also my husband said not to charge his credit card and he did it anyway. I paid in advance on the phone when I made reservation. We then had to go to this location to pick up truck I would not use this location ever!! Very frustrating and disappointing.

Gas was not the same as metered, the inside of the cab and the back where you put your personal items was muddy. The ladies who helped me did verify my photo I sent and corrected it. But it was still way more expensive then I had initially planned. And the sir when I picked it up was sure crabby and kinda mean to everyone

The Asian guy charged me 133 dollars for 30 miles of use of a uhaul truck. I wanted to pay the bill after I returned the truck faded up and he said he would send me a receipt with total price. I got totally screwed. Might do a chargeback.

We were unable to get our uhaul when needed due,to the location not using the 24/7 pick up option. We reserved a furniture dolly. John at the office told us they don’t have those. I got to pay for a uhaul form24 hrs when I actually had it for 10 hours. We will never rent from this location. The staff really didn’t care either. They just wanted our $$$.

Rented a one way truck and booked us at a round trip location. Location was very helpful but the customer service agents that I talked to on 06/25 were incredibly unhelpful and did not resolve our issue. Will never recommend U-Haul.

We were told the truck had a half tank of gas. Check engine light was on, a light indicating the gas cap was broken or something to that affect was on. We accidentally looked at the wrong gauge when double checking the fuel level before driving away. Drive 2 miles to the house to load the truck. Left for our destination, got about 5 miles away and ran out of gas on the freeway in a place with just enough shoulder to pull over. Had to call highway patrol to assist with traffic control just to add gas to the tank. When we returned the truck and explained everything that happened we were told a manager would be contacting us the following day which was 2 days ago. The only thing we received was an emailed receipt with the final bill. No phone call, no email of apology, nothing. I will need to rent another moving truck in the near future to relocate to another city and you can be sure I will not be renting from uhaul. Huge disappointment and horrible customer service. The gas station we rented from was ok and the attendants working there were fine. I would strongly suggest the attendant walk you out to your truck to ensure the gas tank reads what it should and that the truck is in good running condition regardless of what their paperwork or computer says. Might save a lot of people some huge headaches during an already stressful time. Side note, we were told the same exact thing happened to another customer that same day who rented a truck from the same location. They also ran out of gas. Wow.. Not cool.

First of all, The Asian Man at the station where I rented the truck couldn't speak english. In turn it took a huge amount of my time to even get the paperwork done and overwith. The guy couldn't even answer my questions either, He didnt seem to care if i rented a u-haul truck or not.He didnt greet me like a normal businessman, and he did even say goodbye. Unfriendly, and flat out rude.I have rented many U-haul trucks in my day, and all went as planned, and it was an easy ordeal anywhere else.. But this place was the worst U-haul agent EVER! I would like a refund if anything. I returned the truck 4 or 5 hours later in better shape than when I got it! The truck was filthy when I picked it up. I would cancel the contract with this establishment immediately, and find someone else in the area who will treat customers right. I dont like leaving negative reviews, But this guy needs a serious reality check..I will continue renting from U-haul, but I'll never rent from these unprofessional idiots.

Locations were wonderful. However uhaul traffic customer service is HORRIBLE! This is the second time they were rude and unhelpful. One lady refused to transfer me to a manager. The second lady transferred me without telling me. The manager that helped was wonderful but your basic customer service sucks!

Worst experience I've ever had with uhaul. The uhaul transmission slipped during our whole move, we had to pull over for 30 minutes to get the gears to shift, and it was after hours so we couldn't get ahold of anyone. Also the worker at this location was very rude upon explaining what had happened

When I arrived to drop-off my truck at this gas/convenience store location, the person I spoke with seemed very busy and somewhat harried. He was polite, but a bit short with how he wanted me to line the truck up with the others. He wouldn't listen when I explained why I could not follow his request exactly and he was dismissive when he said he'd take care of it. I believe the gentleman may be new to the U-haul network, or he was very short staffed that day, so I do not know if I would recommend his location or not. He seemed too new to the business to judge his actions/words that day. He did get my receipt emailed that same afternoon. He was not rude, just short.

The person I picked up the keys from was rude and not helpful. The “parking lot” for the trucks were not an easy in and out. The truck was not clean. When I got in the steering wheel was greasy. The dolly and moving blankets were in the way. I didn’t need them so I am not sure why they were in there. It was frustrating having to work around them. I did like the online check in and check out. The online time was misleading I could only use the truck until 10:59 pm because they don’t have a drop box even though I requested longer use of the truck. The woman working in the evening was very nice and friendly when I can to drop off the keys.

Poor communication from uhaul. My equipment was overbooked and no one contacted me to let me know until I was at the location. It was a complete inconvenience having to go to the next town over for a uhaul that should have been available at pick up.

My reservation was changed to this location on short notice. Adding approximately 15 miles in extra mileage charges. We did not do a walk about of the vehicle. When I arrived at the move location I discovered a large furniture dolly rolling around the back. Neither the hand truck nor the pads had any type of zip tie in them indicating they had been previously used. This also indicates the truck had not been inspected after it was previously returned. As a result there are extra charges on my bill which I will be contesting.

"You have to move the truck around the corner. If you don't, then I count you returning the truck as late". After our previous experience with the kid scheduling the wrong drop-off location, being threatened with a fine wasn't cool. I moved the truck the 20ft over. I handed off the key. Guy behind the counter smiled and said, "Thanks, I'll mark it as being dropped off on time". As if we were the one's in the wrong. I'll be fair and say he didn't know about the rest of our weekend issues with U-haul, but that was the sour-cherry on top of an already sh***y experience.
