Thorrible experience. My uhaul was cancelled day off my move original pick up was next to home in Folsom and was moving 1.5 hrs away and dropping off next to home at another uhaul location. Was told only available was this location. When I arrived was told i had to return the truck to the location again the next day due to them having already booked it. I spoke to a manger about this he said nothing he can do to help but would allow me to return the uhaul empty. Wel I get into the uhaul and the tank on the uhaul was empty and in order for me to make it to my first location I had to fill it up costing me $120 for a quarter tank of gas. I felt totally screwed over because the manager knew the tank was empty and that is why he told me I could return it empty. Overall this was the worst experience I have had with uhaul and will be finding other companies to work with in the futureDustin M.

Our reservation was for a one way trip. Cameron Park to Chico. When we picked up our trailer the man told us we had to bring it back. This was a huge inconvenience and wasn't the terms of the reservation. When we received our receipt we were charged for the one way drop off and a local around town charge. My initial reservation was canceled. My pick up time was changed without notice, and THEN my pickup location was changed without notice. My U-Haul app said one time and location while the U-Haul website said another. I was lucky to see this truck available and rush to pick it up. A few hours after pick up, U-Haul called me, saying my reservation was cancelled, after I had already had the truck. My experience was beyond stressful, frustrating and confusing.gina G.

Not a thing man. I rented a truck from these guys three times in two weeks and each time there was a hang up (usually on my end) the owner and his crew were quick resolve it, twice the owner was there helping me 30 minutes after he closed the doors. I thought then that the customer service in this place is phenomenal, it wasn't till one of the guys told me that the boss man lives over an hour away so the fact that he gave me an extra half hour of his time means anytime I need Ed a truck or a friend needs a truck I'm sending them down to car izmas in Cameron park where they will be treated with class and respect. Clean the vehicles well, inside and out, and please include all equipment that customer paid for. I was charged $10 for a dolly I DID NOT RECEIVE, making it extremely difficult to move my furniture. I disputed the dollar amount, but it was taken from my credit card anyway. I wrote back, but have yet to receive any response.AMY M.

Trailer had not been cleaned out. Moving pads had to be removed. I had to sweep out debris. Owner made me come into his office and he was not wearing a mask. I was required to do online check in scanning my license, which I was not comfortable with. I would have preferred just showing it. I don't like how inconvenient you make it to get a trailer. Changed my reservation last minute from one inconvenient location to anotherjeffrey D.

Not move the location chosen by the customer (who paid in FULL in advance). . . rerouted to a location nearly 2 hours away. . . had to call and found a second location closer. Still had issues when picking up, the attendant unaware all was paid for, IN SPITE of a printed receipt!!!! With 5 weeks between paid reservation and pick up date I would expect the vehicle to be at the location I selected. I did not appreciate all the extra time (2 phone calls and 30+ min on the phone) to ensure I would not have to drive 2 hours just to pick up the trailer!!Tina H.

Changes to my order were made. No one called to tell me. Waited on the line for over 45 minutes for someone to help me. 2hrs later Finally got truck unlocked. Opened back of truck No appliance dolly or furniture dolly in the truck that I ordered. The windshield to the truck was filthy. Could hardly see out of it. I reserved a trailer months in advance at a location 40-50 miles away. When it was time to get the trailer, I was sent on a wild goose chase. As well, I spent 4 hours on hold trying to find out what was going on. I was disconnected 9 times. The lady I finally talked to barely spoke English and made it clear she did not give a damn . Don't make it so hard t return a truck after hours. Your system wouldn't recognise my location. I had to send the information to a friend to process the return. My phone was set to show location. I would have returned it the next day but NOT for $20 because you couldn't see my location. I will probably think twice before I use you again. What if I only had a flip phone you would penalize me for not being tech savvy. I hated using my phone to check in also. I only use my phone to make phone calls, ok and I text but I do not use the internet on it. I have a limited service. I was very angry trying to check out last night.Sue B.
Just make sure and sweep out trailer completely. Someone moved some bags of garden dirt in it and I had an electric blower so no big deal. Other than that staff was on it. Zip tied the extra electrical to the hitch and off I went. Trailer had good tires and they had checked the pressure since I was going to AZ...gregory R.
Sales agent at the truck pickup location (4107 Cameron Park Dr Cameron Park, CA 95682) was a liar, rude, and very unprofessional. Called him prior to picking up the truck and he to confirmed availability of a dolly and not to worry. We arrived a few minutes later and he said a dolly is not available and could not find one. When questioned, he said 'Get out of here'. This caused us frustration and an unnecessary extended delay for our move for not having the dolly.willie N.

There isn't that much room to park the U-Haul if you are dropping it off. I tried to call ahead of time, and the person that answered was not very friendly. I dropped it off on a holiday so they were closed, but the website said open. Just glad it's over.CARSON C.

The truck was returned within the milage limit and the gas tank filled to the required amount. The attendant who recieved the return truck said everything met the expectation and assured there were no additional charges. Later that day there was a charge on my credit card from Uhaul for extra fuel! I cant Uhaul to take care of their customers. Going with any other moving company than Uhaul next time.lisa O.
