Judy CThey charged me for double the mileage without a proof and asked me to show a photo for the mileage meter before starting my trip! And informed me that it’s my responsibility to take a photo as a proof of the mileage and said it’s in the contract that I am the one that responsible to show an image to proof they were wrong! I am a frequent customer in Car rental and I never had such a problem. If this is how u haul works, I will share my experience with others P.S. I have the gas receipt proof that I only put gas for around 200 miles but I couldn’t debate because the talk to me in a very bad way. I can’t believe I had such a situation!!!
mohamed kLocation was not open when I dropped the trailer off, which I was not informed of. Dropped the trailer off and left. Today, I receive an email advising of an additional fee for cleaning. I cleaned the trailer fully (had hauled household goods, no leaks or spills, but I swept it out and took pictures). Called and left an email with the pictures proving the trailer was cleaned, and no response. I expect to be reimbursed for this charge!

Marcus DUsed for a few hours to move a matress. Laid the mayress on the clean floor. Reurned after dropping mattress at a storage locker. Was charged a cleaning fee the next day becuae they said it was dirty and things were left in it, both things are untrue. Very disappointed.
GREG Hthis whole U-Haul experience was a lot. first I reserved a truck on Grand Manan at Cary Tire. then they rented it out the day before I was supposed to pick it up and told me it was my problem and to call uhaul to fix it. then uhaul on the phone was good. I got a truck reservation on the main land (grand Manan is an island) so I had to find someone to drive me to go get it. and since it was such short notice going to pick it up I couldn't get a ferry reservation to bring it back to the island. so I had to sit on standby waiting through ferry after ferry all day to get it on the boat. then I had tried to explain to the phone person when I was needed to be able to return it. and to the reservation desk. the reservation desk at pick up understood and left the return open. but my text said that I had to return it at an impossible hour to a specific place. I would still be on the ferry bringing it from the island when they said I had to return it. so I tried to do the online check out and I couldn't because online said I had to bring it back to the island to Cary Tire. which for many reasons is impossible at this point. I swept it out, returned it and still got charged 30$ upon its return. for whatever reason was not explained.

Jenny PImprove the green zap strap on tue dolly. It is easily breakable and can break if it gets bumped. This causes trouble when returning the vehicle and telling them that you didn’t use it and they don’t believe you. Make it strong enough that you have to cut it with a blade or scissors.
Ryan MTHIS IS FOR THE COMPANY IN GENERAL, NOT JUST THESE LOCATIONS. "Reserved" a trailer for a partial move. Was called the day before & told we were getting a different size, as though they were giving us a deal. The bigger trailer needs to have more items in it and will cost more in gas. They changed the pick up city entirely. She wanted me to pick up a day early. We rented one a couple of months ago & they wanted us to take a larger trailer, even though our vehicle couldn't tow a bigger one. We had booked IN PERSON a week before and they changed it based on someone reserving the one we wanted online. How can you call them 'reservations' when NOTHING is reserved?!?

MICHELLE LWe were told to bring the trailer back at 1pm on a Sunday. Granted, the location was closed on the Sunday, but we were informed that a worker would be by at 1 to help us unhitch. We arrived at 12:50 and waited until 1:30. One person came into the location only to gruffly tell us that they didn’t work for Uhaul. Finally, we called up the contact number only to find out that no one had been told to meet us. We ended up having to unhitch the trailer ourselves, which was extremely painful for my friend due to his knee issues. This was a very disappointing end to an otherwise okay experience with Uhaul.
MATTHEW MStaff was very friendly, knowledgeable about the rentals, accommodating, easy to deal with, and entertaining!! I would recommend this location to EVERYONE in the future. Made this moving experience so much easier, thanks so much!!

Wade WThe drop off location- hard to find- no sign etc...and then when you pull into the yard there was no way to determine which of the buildings to go to. I had to go dig through emails, find their number and call. I took videos of the trailer as there was no return video. Up to now we have had really good experiences with uhaul, but this one really sucked. I also want to know what the guy at the pick-up spot was talking about telling me I had a past due charge of $150 plus on my acct?? I want a confirmation that 1) there are no previous charges, 2) that I was only charged for the trailer, no dolly, etc.. and hopefully let me know once some customer service training has occurred.
