The little girl that checked me out didnt know how the process worked and gave me bad information. She told me I could drop off at any location convienient, when I got to my destination. I dropped the trialer off at a UHaul dealer the next day in under 24hrs after the rental. The girl messed something up and called that evening after I dropped the rental off to find out where we left it. Now we got charged for being 6 days late and dropped off at the wrong location. The break lights did not work and I had to fix them before I could hual it off the lot.JAMIE C.

It's not fair for me to rate the location when I booked a certain truck and a certain time through uHaul's website, not theirs. The fact that my truck wasn't available at the time I booked over two weeks in advance is uhauls fault. My entire move was late because of this. It seems uHaul baits you by promising anything to get the sale then with less than 24 hour notice switches what you get with zero viable alternatives. And they know it. My location was fine. UHaul is not. Do not use uHaul. They also provided me a return location THAT DOES NOT EXIST.Kimberly L.

They can communicate better to us the customer. The lady must have accidentally charged by card twice and she did not let me know. I found out by checking my bank account. When I called uhaul's customer service they told me it was refunded back to me but it would take up to 5 business days to get back to my account. I am still watching my account.James S.

During the COVIT 19 PANDEMIC , all arrangements had to be handled online. The local representatives at Charlie's U-Haul, Charlie Solar Jr. and Mickey Fontenot handled the complete process with outstanding service! We started using U-Haul 49 years ago for personal and business use. We will only be using Charlie's U-Haul due to the outstanding service tendered by Charlie Solar Jr and Mickey Fontenot..GILBERT B.

We were scheduled to pick up a 15ft truck and car trailer in Vacherie. No one showed up to allow us to pick up the equipment. We drove 40 minutes to get to the location. Uhaul scheduled us to pick up the equipment in Morgan City, another 40 minutes the other direction, totally out of our way. The customer service in Vacherie was an awful experience.Bobby C.

All equipment should be check throughly before renting I rented a dolly andcine of the straps were broken causing my vehicle to shift off the side of the trailer which could have been a DIASTER....reported the problem so this won't happen to anyone else. As for as the 6'12 U-Haul trailer I've rented, it was okay. I really think that if it was a little bit bigger, it would've been prefect. I think y'all should really consider making a bigger U-Haul trailer. Thank you so much U-Haul!Shalacey W.

My experience with U-haul was absolutely horrid, and I will never use the service again, I will pay more at any other company just to not deal with u-haul. First we showed up to pick up our truck and auto transport in a different location than I requested that was an extra 20 minute drive, but the trailer was at a separate location, which I wasn't informed of over the phone the day before. This added a lot of time onto our day, hours, which cut into our packing time and seeing my husband's grandmother in the hospital, plus the added gas and mileage. The truck was parked in a giant puddle, and we didn't receive any of the 3 dollies we ordered. So we drove the extra 30 minutes to pick up the auto transport(double the time for our drive home), there we received one dolly but not the other two we desperately needed to make moving easier. Which they only gave me a credit for the other two when I want my money back, because I don't plan on ever purchasing another item from your store. Then after packing everything in, and fully packing our truck we attempt to get it on the auto transport only to realize it doesn't fit, the back tires hung more than halfway off. So we had to leave some of our belongings 6 hours away and our truck, this is an added expense when we have to go pick it up, the hour and half it took to reconfigure everything and try and take as much as possible, some pieces of our animal cage had to be left behind that we had to repurchase here. We drove 50 minutes out of the way to return it, adding gas, mileage, and time again, the people at that store are very kind and issued me a refund for the auto transport but that doesn't change that it shouldn't have been necessary in the first place; and inconvenience us by hours, money, and tons of stress on our move day. Upon returning the truck the parking lot was littered with nails, not just a few, but nails everywhere, which is extremely unsafe for people trusting that the tires will get them where they need to go, and I drove my car through it, which is terrifying. Overall review is that U-Haul is the most incompetent company I've dealt with, and cost us much more than necessary while moving.Brenton C.

They canceled my order so I had to drive 60 miles to get what I needed ! I will try not to use UHaul again , will try HomeDepot . Was told to pick up at 9:30 and the store was open at 8 then they said my order was for Saturday not Monday !! Terrible service !!!!!PHIL H.
