I was not told that my drop off location would be closed at the time of drop off and I would have to go on line to check in the truck. I have an old phone and it was not compatible with your ap. The $20 fee is pure greed for a few moments of work on your part. Very poor customer service.

I started to reserve an enclosed trailer online ,but mid order I decided I should call and confirm the trailer I intended to rent was actually on site. This idea came to my head as when I last rented the trailer from uhaul the one I had reservations for was not there when I arrived. A kind employee looked outside, verified the presence of the trailer and I told them I would be there in less than 20 mins to pick it up. At this time I had to answer nearly 40 questions about my tow vehicle, an Ford F-150 towing less then 1,000lbs and give my credit card. I arrived less than 15 mins later and the trailer was attached. At that point I was asked to go inside and fill out mounds of paperwork. While my charges were rung up, I was told that the trailer was not available anymore and that it had been booked by someone. Upon review it was noted that it was my own reservation so after 5 to 10 mins this was straightened out. Next came payment, at which point the computer crashed at I had to answer 40 plus questions about my two vehicle and even give an emergency contact, and hand my credit card over. My charges were then declined 3 consecutive times 2 times with one card and once with another. Note tow vehicle info was required again. Since it was a Sunday afternoon I watched football as things were corrected via a 20’min call to the helpsesk. About an hour later I was out of there. On second thought I should have figured some other way to haul away my junk.

This truck was garbage. Shimmied and shook, brakes had no bite to them, and the seatbelt stayed locked and was nearly unusable. It wasn't this stores fault, but U-Hauls fault for having such poor equipment.

The place was fine but what was NOT fine was having two reservations I made online in the two weeks prior be cancelled on me less than 48 hours before they were to take place. The reservation system was completely pointless. Thankfully this was not a time sensitive need but if it had been it would have be somewhere between a problem and a disaster.
