The guy at the Hampton location had no jack for the trailer so we had to drive back home 30 miles one way to get ours, then when we get there he didn't help us. Upon returning the trailer, his hours were 9am to 5pm. He wasn't there. Then charged us a 3rd day claiming we weren't there at 9am. We will never use UHAUL ever again.

Checking out and dropping off were super easy! I had a little difficultly with the online check out in that I couldn’t reserve the unit for more than 24 hours. I couldn’t find that it was previously reserved which had me a little nervous, fortunately they took care of it at the office!-)

We had to drive an hour out of our way only to not have any of the equipment that we ordered. Very disappointing. The online system set up to “save me time” took 45 minutes. Laughable. Will not be using these services ever again.

What I believe to be poor service from the Iowa Falls IA location would be better explained through a person to person conversation. I will think twice about using either location!

I booked the truck for pickup a week in advance and the day before I got a call from a U Haul rep who said I had to drive 120 miles to pick up the 26’ truck I reserved. I had to settle for a 20’ truck and still had to drive 60 miles to pick it up. When I arrived the truck had a broken windshield affecting the drivers line of vision. When I left the pick up location I noticed there was less than 3/4 tank of fuel in it. When I was loading the truck I found 3 beer cans behind the drivers seat! I ended up not getting everything into the truck that I needed to because of the smaller size. When I dropped it off in Joliet, IL the business made me go out and move it and take pictures myself of the odometer and gas gauge, which I filled it up!

Very disappointed in my experience this time. Trailer was snowed in, frozen to the ground, chains and light cord packed with ice. knowing i reserved the trailer the day before, not attempt was made to have the trailer ready. Had to go back home and get tools and more man power to dig out the trailer. then on the final bill i was charged a cleaning fee? the trailer was in better shape when i dropped it off then when i picked it up. I have spent a lot of money on rentals, from uhaul, and never have i been more disappointed in the lack of service.

The owner went out of her way to help us get the trailer we needed. The location was closed on Sunday. We absolutely needed the rental that day. Char came down to the location and did everything necessary to see that we had the trailer. I am so thankful for her extra effort!

When I dropped the truck and trailer off she couldn't help me right then so she said she would get it checked in later. I explained to her that I had filled up the tank right down the street and I filled it until the pump stopped but for some reason it was not showing completely full on the needle, however the pump would not let me go any further. I jut a charge for more gas because it wasn't full.

When someone makes reservations tell them to totally cost with insurance , have the equipment clean and if it isn't tell the customer the truth.

I reserved a appliance dolly and when we arrived the person was on the phone trying to figure out a plan because they only had the utility dolly on site. We were still charged even though the dolly that we rented was not the one we reserved. The truck was given to us with less than 1/8 of a tank of gas in it! Also, the back truck tires were balding and would have been unsafe if it had rained.

We had to drive an hour to get a truck and then back another hour to the location where it was needed!! Charles City. U Haul should have a means to get the trucks where they are needed. Ridiculous. Moving is stressful enough.

Booked online but could not get the insurance cost off $70 removed. Called and was told it would be taken off the price when I picked up the trailer. When I picked up the trailer she said it would not show up on my credit card, well it did. Worked for 3mo to get money back and now they won't even answer our calls. RIPPED OFF!

Reserved a 6x12 trailer and when I got there to pick it up all that was available was a 5x8. After driving 65 miles to get there I was not about to go elsewhere, so I took the trailer they had and now I will have to make another 2000 mile trip over thanksgiving holiday.
