Rental agent not at location. Had to complete rental by phone. Seemed that he couldn't or didn't have my info that I gave when I reserved equipment. Took longer than it should to complete process. Was polite and courteous but time was an issue.Donald C.

I returned the vehicle with more fuel than when I picked it up and was charged a gas fee. I also had to pay a mileage fee when I wouldn't have gone over if I didnt have to pick up the truck and trailer from separate locations. Also one of the trailer blinkers didn't work. It was clearly wear and tear on the electrical connector. Your employees should do some basic functions test.David G.

I took my U-HAUL back late at night. The owner called me that morning to complain about my driver backing the U-haul up and blocking the garbage dumpster. I apologized multiple times and let him know that we didn't realize that we had blocked the garbage dumpster and that it was an accident. He continue to go on with his complaining even after multiple attempts of apologizing. When I asked the owner was there anything additional I can help him with or was this a call to complain he responded "I'm calling to complain" and started up again with loud talking and being rude. I went up to the store (since over the phone seemed to not get anywhere) and the owner continue to be upset and irate, He was a total jackass an I wouldn't recommend this location. Glad that I am a changed and patient person because that whole interaction could've went left real quick.Tavares H.

As usual the location that I reserved the trailer at (Tuscaloosa ALA. on Skyland) sent me to another location for the trailer. It was a Chevron gas station convenience store and there was only 1 trailer at this site, the lady here had some difficulty using her cell phone to complete my contract but she was able to work through it, as we were completing the contract another person entered the store and informed them that he too was sent from the Skyland location to pick up a trailer and he was informed that there were no other available trailers. As for the trailer that I rented there was no available jack to lift the trailer for hook up to my truck bit I was able to lift it with some effort on to the trailer ball, additionally no one offered any service to verify the proper connection or for the trailer lights. Note- when I returned the trailer at Bayou Storage a representative met me and brought out a trailer jack to unhook the trailer and performed a verification of the trailer lights and the other inspections.Larry M.

The UHAUL Tow Dolly had worn/broken straps, and a rusted ratchet that didn't work well. Also the technician stated that I could not tow the 4,500 lb vehicle when I have the capacity to tow 10,000 lb's and have towed 5-8K lbs many times before with the same setup. I also input all of the same information into the system to rent... the last thing a customer want's to hear the moment that they need the equipment is that you may not be able to take the equipment you ordered when you're on a tight time-line and 250 miles to drive.James B.

Th person that checked me in was extremely professional and nice. Appears they mostly have trailers versus trucks. The only issue I had was more of a UHaul policy. I was planning to move two hours away and the truck barely had a quarter tank of gas, so I had to immediately fill it up before I even started packing.Ginny Z.

First off I could barely understand the man I was talking to. Second he was rude. Third it was like the men that came into his store was more important than me and he kept putting me off to wait on them. I was offended by this. Also when he gave me the pads they were not folded. He grabbed a garbage bag and wadded them up and shoved them in the bag. That isn't the way I think a business should be ran.Karen S.

No blankets available but I was told I could stop at another location and pick some up. I opted not to since the pickup location for this rental was already 10 miles further away than the one that I had as my preferred pickup location. I used blankets from my house to protect furniture during move. Truck ran great. Excellent equipment.Steven M.

This location frustrated me the most because I was practically checking things myself and walking back and forth to get needed information for the personnel. I was already a bit tired from my move, and this was sort of annoying. He finally got things straightened out. I sort of wish I had just went to the main U-Haul center in town. It was a nightmare. The lady working at the store couldn't login to your website, she had to call the owner to get instructions. The whole process took 58 minutes. The truck was dirty and had trash in the back and a quarter of a tank of gas. I paid $171.00, all non refundable, for a two day rental. I returned the truck the next day with the gas hand in it's original position. When I asked if I would get a refund for the unused day, I was told that since I paid with my debt card it was non refundable.Shirley G.

Please educated ALL of the other Uhaul location that is not a true Uhaul location. It took over 1hour to pick up a trailer and i was the only one at the store and trailer and no other Uhaul items there. I made reservations over the phone and told her what location i wanted to pick from, got a textl telling me that I could pick up from 69 location at 12 that night (why) i was scheduled for a 7am pickup at the actually Uhaul location. When i returned the trailer the same #&Â£% i was even asked for my credit card information. I was not very satisfied with none of my Uhaul experiences today.sonya J.
