This location is a row of trucks and trailers sitting on the side of the highway in front of a mobile home park. There is no office. The lady showed up in her car at the pickup time. (I was an hour early arriving) She has no dollies or furniture pads the I had reserved and paid for. While the lady was very friendly and helpful, she was just as frustrated as I was that I could reserve equipment online that she doesn't have.Randall F.

This site had no one available in the office to help. The internet connection in the area was poor so it was hard to get a signal to do mobile registration. I used the truck for only 2 days. When the vehicle was returned the system was down so no one could check my truck back in and it took them almost 2 weeks to finally get the truck checked back in. The site was supposed to have dollies that could be rented from U-Haul but did not have dollies. I ended up borrowing the worker's own personal dollies (which was ok with me as long as I had some). When I called to follow up the worker made me feel like I was calling too much but it had been a whole week and the truck still had not been checked in as she had promised and I began to worry that I would be charged for all of those days. She then went on to tell me family and personal reasons why the job had not been done but could not tell me when it would be checked in. She even told me that if I didn't like it I could come and check the truck in myself which I felt was really rude and disrespectful. I was relieved when finally after 11 days the truck was checked back in. I have never had an incident with U-Haul like that before and I have rented both U-Haul and Penske trucks in several states and cities. What was most upsetting was the way she made me as the customer feel that I was being unreasonable when in reality I think the customer service at that location and the way it took so long for the truck to be checked in was really unreasonable on the part of U-Haul. If the internet was down and the worker had personal emergencies there should have been a back up system in place where either another site or a 1800 line or someone else could have helped her and helped me while she dealt with her personal and family emergencies. I'm the future I would most likely not use that site unless some better system is in place. I would probably try another U-Haul site in Troy, AL or even travel out of town if I had toChristy M.
