We had requested help moving our belongs into a storage unit. We booked Yellow Dolly through U-Haul. Yellow Dolly sent Andrew Richardson, BJ Watson and Jason Gammons to help us unload. They did a fantastic job. I will definitely use U-Haul and Yellow Dollly again.

Provide equipment at a closer location. Due to having to go farther to get a truck, I went over the distance limitation. Not by much but distance allowance should have been adjusted.

There wasn't a lot of room at this location. Parking was crowded. The actual drop site for the equipment was a few blocks away which I found inconvenient.

Inside cab was not cleaned well, that could improve some. The people at the location were very nice and accomodating. The whole reservation process of the rental was a moving nightmare, not due to them, but due to the Sylva office. I rented the truck from Sylva, NC. I was not told until Thurdsay, via text, around 4:20 pm that my reservation was in Franklin. I called Ricky at Franklin and he told me that the Sylva office wasn't open on Saturdays. I asked why my rental was verified for there and later changed if in the first place, they weren't open. I then called the Sylva office and asked why my reservation was transfered to Franklin. I got a different story, "We don't have any trucks on that day". I wanted a reinbursement of the extra mileage, around $20.00 that I would have to pay to go to the different place. She stated that she couldn't that, but that the fee only applied to weekends. I was further told that there was no fee on weekdays. I confirmed this statement several times with her and decided to change my date to a Friday. She quite rudely, told me she had no trucks that day ,either, I contacted the Franklin office, spoke with Ricky, who was very polite and nice, and reserved for Friday. When I reviewed the contract on Friday, I was charged .99 a mile and was told it should be ,79 but he couldn't change it. Either is more that "0" that I was told before. I was told to contact U Haul about the misrepsentation. That is in process. This is the 3rd time that I have rented from U Haul in different states, over the years, and none of the times have gone smoothly. This is not the fault of the Franklin office, It is more of an upper level U Haul problem.

You could start with having rental where it's supposed to be; not making customer have to go to 3 different locations ON THE DAY of rental to find vehicle; make sure drop-off location will actually take rental back and not deny customer and make them drive to another facility after filling fuel tank to desired level; have customers service reps that when you call the night before to confirm or the next morning in the day of THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING AVOUT

The service was good but their knowledge needs improvement. I had a trailer (car transport) from NC to FL. And they didn't attach the chains to the tires only the straps. The front tires were turned instead of straight. I didn't know it was incorrect however when I arrived at florida. I traveled at night so I didn't see it until I got to my destination. The straps were undone and my car was not secured with anything.i HAVE no idea how I didn't lose my car. Afterward when I returned it was when I knew the chains needed to be attached. That by itself was unsettling. I rated it below average for that reason.

I had ac reservation and was told that I could pick it up on Saturday morning at 10, as that is when they open. NO ONE WAS THERE! A man from the tire shop finally got on the phone with a video call to the woman. Finally got the truck about an hour late. I will never use that location again and would never recommend it to anyone else!

The drop off spot I was directed to, Family Auto Care, sent me to a different drop off center. Packed with cars and not much U Haul equipment and no place to park. Dirty too and smelled like soure milk. It was discusting! The second place was City Tire also in Franklin, NC. No place to park there either. Left the trailer in the middle of their parking lot after they asked me to go to a different location!!!! You might want to visit them unexpectedly! WOW!

I would not recommend any uhaul location to a friend this entire experience was a nightmare especially dealing with it during a natural disaster. Uhaul could not get my reservation correct. They did not have my equipment ready upon pickup and I had to wait a extra day that put me behind schedule then my reservation was wrong again for the quoted price . When I returned the rental nothing went right either. I have spent hours on the phone trying to make this right and no help.

Had a hard time dropping trailer back off. Several locations closer to my destination, but all refused to take it. Was told when I rented it that I could drop it off anywhere close by. This was not true. They actually tried to switch my drop off to a location in Georgia without telling me, even though this is well over an hour from my location. I was not notified of this change until I went to drop off the trailer in Franklin North Carolina and tried to do the online drop off. It popped up with the location in Clayton Georgia. Would be hesitant to rent a one-way rental from U-Haul again.

I CALLED AND NEEDED A TRUCK IN A HURRY. 2 OTHER LOCATIONS HAD NOTHING. THIS ONE DID I HAD IT CHECKED OUT IN 15 MINUTES. AND HAD MY FURNITURE MOVED IN AND HAULED OFF OLD STUFF. BACK TO DEALER THAT DAY . HE WAS VERY HELPFUL.

Chaos from arrival to my departure...Primary individual for processing U-haul was "out with tow truck for pick up" Staff there did try to help but their hands were tied. Office was small & crowded, no seating. Had to walk thru oily water puddles & around cars to enter. Had difficulty finding our own place to park truck a block.

Improve the online after hours check in process. The link to verify you were at the right location did not work. Then the system would not allow you to proceed any further to check in the truck.
