The location was good and very good customer service.
The truck had a horrible high pitch squeal once it got over 60 mph. It appearred to be a problem with the seal in the window. Never stopped on the highway and road with it for 4 hours. Not great.

We didn't get the vehicle we rented even though they had them in stock and didn't have the appliance hand truck. However, another employee who walked in late did "find" an appliance hand truck for us to use. Please note there was a herd of regular hand trucks near the office desk that was also not available collecting dust.

Snow was not removed to facilitate the sliding gate enclosure to open and close. It was impossible to move.
I did cancel out the rest of the month (January 20) but was told I would not get a refund of the rest of the days; I was paid until Feb. I will get a refund of my $15 deposit by check in the mail.
My son took over the storage rental and was charged for the partial month. It was $54 month with a $20 handling fee and a discount for paying for a year in full, so $680+ total.
My question is how can you not refund the remainder of a month, but then turn around and charge out a partial month. That does not make sense to me at all. It seems like a double dipping situation as long as it favors the business.
I have been a customer for MANY years, but this whole situation left a bad taste in my mouth so to speak.
Also, my son's driver's license was at the office for almost 2 hours (was not handed back to my son after the man asked for it) but I was told they called because it had been on the counter the whole time. Given my son should have been cognizant that he did not have his license, it is appalling to me that the license supposedly sat there for 2 hours, and he had driven from out of town to do this transaction in the first place. having 2 staff there, a woman and a man I would expect a call sooner than 2 hours later stating "hopefully he's not out of town by now" which he was.
For these reasons, I give the generous average rating.

I was told that if I vacated the unit quickly they would work with me on the 200 ridiculous fee for one month rent. So we busted butt and got it cleaned out and now they said no they have a one month minimum. So I am not allowing that unit to be rerented until the 22nd of January unless you are going to refund part of my money back. I WILL NOT allow you to double dip!

Customer service without attitude. Upfront pricing quotes. Uhaul as a whole should only do day to day or hour by hour rentals because stuff comes up and people can't always bring it back at the designated time like myself and whomever I got the truck from. Also it should not matter where you drop off as long as it's a uhaul dealer.

There was a weld broken on the finder and it almost came off going down the highway. I was able to secure it enough to make it to a uhaul server center that was open. I am out one of my Wretched strips since one broke in the process.

What a great experience. Cindy (I think that was the name on her tag.) was courteous and efficient and deftly rolled a 5 x 8 trailer onto the ball on my truck. Ryan was equally courteous and able when I returned the trailer. Maybe the best thing was that I was assigned a trailer with a pull-down ramp, making moving our furniture much easier than it would have been with the originally assigned trailer. And the price was right too. Can't beat all that.

Customer service sucked this time. The woman who helped from the start had a attitude due to license not being able to be scanned. So she had to enter the information manually. From there her attitude was even worse. Asking if I had time constraints. I indicated after she told that she wasn't in the mood to be rushed. That I was not in a big hurry. Her attitude when we got out to the transport to hook up was way shittier. I offered to help with chains to be nice and she was flat out rude. I then told her in no way was I trying to rush her but be nice to help. She informed that she knew her job and didn't need any help in a very rude manner. As far as customer service checkout of the transport it was terrible. Equipment was adequate. Check in was adequate.

We rented a 6 x 12' trailer and the Customer Service from everyone at CityWide Storage was FANTASTIC as usual.
My only comment that would be helpful is that U-Haul place tie down clips on the bottom and top of the trailer. We use ratchet straps to hold equipment from rolling while transporting to customer site. When all tie-down circles are all at bottom it leaves possibility for equipment to be top heavy and tip. The only reason I left after 5 years of renting was the cost of the climate controlled storage. It went from 165 to 185 and it became financially hard for me. Then the incident with double billing was a nightmare for me as well. I couldn't get my medications because I was overdrawn with the double billing.

I had one time a staff wasn’t friendly. She called to tell me my payment was late. And I couldn’t use my card anymore because it was the second time it didn’t go through. I’m a server I don’t have money just go on a card. I have a 2 month old daughter. She needed to understand sometimes life happens and we just simply forget about things. It was only a week late. And she was just super rude in her tone of voice.
